We had the food delivered to our house and it was fast and good the food was still hot when it got here. It’s a real good place must try it

The people that work here are so rude! Very hard to understand and don’t understand English at all. Good Luck on getting good food let alone your order through to them clearly.

This place was ok. The poor workers can hardly speak English so it was hard for me to get an order out for four people. Plus there is so much noise in the background we ended up driving over there. The food wasn’t bad and the portions were awesomely huge but the customer service over the phone was terrible… but It was better in the restaurant.

First order they messed up, they said they would take the food back and replace it. Second order they gave me uncooked chicken. I called to have fixed and he told me well we replaced it for free throw it away. Hold on I have other customers, and hung up on me. Worst experience ever. I should of ordered on Grubhub, at least they would of given my money back, and I wouldn’t have to dispute the charge with my bank.

the food is good but nothing special. its a take out place so food is prepared en masse its not fine dining so if you want 5 star food go to a 5 star restaurant. otherwise its good for what it is, quick chinese takeout

Wish I had read the reviews before ordering! All dark meat, chewy and subpar. Veggies means broccoli only. Chicken skewers were too rough to be chewable. Huge portion sizes but not satisfying enough to eat it. Felt like one of those $ 1 a scoop places.

Ok it’s cheap, you basically get what you pay for… Horrible customer service the young guy that answers phone and runs cash register seems like a suicide bomber that is going to blow up at any moment. There people skills suck but what do you expect… All of the meals sucks, the only good thing is appetizers. Any thing on a stick and edamame… You get what you pay for… As for delivery 4 out of 5 times they have been on time. The last time over an hour late and food was cold I was pissed but they gave me 30% off so oh well… This is my go to place when I’m lazy and don’t feel like driving 6miles

Two words Customer Service… I can forgive a lot when it comes to fast food, but when you run a business with competition your customer service needs to be on point. When I call your business it should not sound like I’m bothering you!

Absolutely the worst place to order food from. The staff is very rude and does not take the time to understand the order. The food delivered was packed horribly.

It is a take-out n delivery only place. It was super busy on Friday night, seems like a lot of phone orders, so it took a while to get my food ready. When you watch the cooking area, it doesn’t look that appealing and clean. The cashier lady was nice and friendly. I had Szechuan style shrimp n chicken… was nothing special… just like any other Chinese takeout but the egg-roll was very good, better than most other places in Irving and the portion is really huge; good for two people. It is just another takeout place with added service of delivery. This is the first Chinese takeout that I know of with Calories on the menu but with nothing over 375, I highly doubt its accuracy, nevertheless, the attempt itself is praiseworthy. There are better choices around if you are in a mood for Chinese and willing to get out of home.

Positively the WORST delivery Chinese EVER! During a lay-over last week at DFW, I ordered from this place. I got a brown paper bag with sauce spilled out of the containers smeared all of the bag and boxes. Okay. To add insult to this, no napkins, no chop sticks, no plastic fork. So how am I supposed to eat this mess? Or wipe my fingers? You suck, poorly! Unfortunately, there is no option for no star or negative star

My first terrible experience at Chinese in Dallas! We ordered delivery. Two blocks away and 45 minutes. Strike 1. Bag was tightly packed. We ordered chicken fried rice, garlic chicken, schezuan chicken, and sweet and sour chicken. We got 4 schezuan chickens and 3 extra sides of schezuan sauce. Ok not really but every container and meal was literally covered in the sauce. Way messy. Clearly a blind child packed it. Strike 2. We opened our meals to find them overly packed and not resembling the pictures or descriptions in any way. All had multiple veggies listed. We got none. A lot of food for the price may seem like a good deal but it really means other things. They have terrible food costs and they have very poor quality of food. You can clearly taste it too. Strike 3. The chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken were abysmally bad. The fired rice was mushy and not fresh(but it still took 45 minutes) and had different colors of chicken cooked in different ways. There would be dark fried prices, white fatty gooey under cooked prices, and hard as a rock old red pieces. The sweet and sour chicken was also undercooked. Gross old chicken in gooey half cooked batter and the sauce was overly sweet like strawberry marmalade. The only redeeming quality were spot on potstickers with an amazing spicy dipping sauce. We ended up throwing over half away. Wouldn’t even feed it to the dog.

For some reason, I surprise myself that I have not done a review given I’ve been coming here for the past 10+ years already(used to be a different name, but can’t remember now). After reading the reviews, let me get some things out of the way. First off, there is no service, so don’t expect it or go elsewhere. And from the looks of it, their delivery sucks as well, which is related to service. Best to just pick up the order in person. For me, it’s less than 10min from work, so that’s no problem for lunch, or on the way home when I don’t have anything planned for the family(like today). If I were to rank them by service, it’s barely a 1. So let’s get to the food. When I first started here, I would try and have ordered little of everything. One thing I’ve noticed is that the sauce is pretty much the same, so all things started to taste alike. However, what earned them the 4 stars here is not the typical food on the menu, but simply their fried rice. Their fried rice irrelevant of the price is just darn good. I believe it has to do with the amount of oil or traditional lard(I know it sounds gross, but it’s that good and is often used in food like tamale) that they added, which I know it’s not healthy, but forget about that for now. My 3 kids are picky, but they all love the friend rice here. Normally, I just get the chicken fried rice since that is their special for $ 3.99, which includes an eggroll. As others have mentioned, they do give you good serving size as in a good 2 pounds of food here. For me, it fills me well, but for most others, you can probably make 2 meals out of it for about $ 4…just can’t beat the value.

I’ve waited over two hours and I live within 5 miles. Each time I call I’m told«wait where? Oh yeah that place yeah he’s on his way he should be there very soon» Two hours… I desperately implore anyone reading this do not get good here. It’s not very good and the service is awful. Just go somewhere else.
This place is in a ok area. Not your fine dining establishment. But if you want great street food quality Chinese food. Well this is your place. I always get the Hunan Chicken, Kung Pao chicken, broccoli beef or pork fried rice. And I’ve yet to be disappointed. Food rating C or not. I like this place and it must not be that bad. As there’s always a line of people ordering or picking up food. And the portions are hefty and well worth the money. Average entrée is 10 $ or less. I’ve been back will be back and recommend this to anyone looking for something other than panda or peiwei.

I just checked the health rating score for this place and they got a ma’f*ckin C(that’s a «poor» rating, folks)!! And yes, I have ordered from here. Unfortunately. Boyfriend and I picked up our food & right from the start I was really disgusted w/this place. I just felt a sense of grossness from the establishment. The young lad taking orders looked sickly and was sneezing everywhere! And the kitchen area just did not look clean. The food we got was bland, among other things. We think the chicken in my bf’s food may have gone bad. It was WAY mushy. My veggies in a brown sauce was scary as fuck! Def won’t be ordering from here again ESPECIALLY with that ‘C’ rating. I’m sorry, explosive diarrhea is NOT cute no matter how long you’ve been dating someone.

Horrible. Bad service. Food was lacking. It took over an hour for us to get our food and they are located across the street. It’s one thing if you deliver food 30 min later than you say, it’s another if you do nothing to make up for it! I have absolutely no reason to ever go back there. Red Pepper Cuisine is significantly better!
