When you arrive at DFW you have to be picked up and taken to their off-​airport location where their office and fleet is located (this transportation cost to bring the silvercar rep to their office was on my bill). There’s some verification process after which you will get to drive off. The car I was driven in to their office was the car I had to take away. When returning the car you have to drop off the car at the same off-​airport location, from where a silvercar rep will inspect the car and eventually drive you to your airport terminal (this transportation fee also billed to you). About the car: The car drives great, the navigation system would not find all locations and is lags at times. The bluetooth connection did not work on my android phone, but the wifi did connect. Towards the end of the 4 day rental the car began making squeaking noises when braking. If you are on a schedule and want to rent a premium car I suggest you use one of the on-​site DFW car rental companies.

I rented one of the Audi’s for a trip to visit family and it was so easy and convenient. The whole process was painless and the car was practically brand new. I would highly recommend this for anyone who doesn’t want to deal with the pressure of being asked if you want to upgrade to a better vehicle for an additional charge. I also really appreciated all of the extras such as navigation, Sirius radio and the toll tag that were included for no additional cost. I would rent from here again in a heartbeat!

This was our second time renting through Silvercar and again, a great experience overall. Pick up was a little slow, next time I think I would call them as I’m getting my bags instead of when I get outside, but it was nice to be picked up in a car rather than a shuttle van, and the location is very close to the airport.
Car was as promised– Audi A4, in good condition. While we had the car, we discovered the back seat cup holder was broken, but otherwise seemed like new.
And return was easy– we didn’t refuel and paid the $ 5 refueling fee. We were a little skeptical that it would really be market price fuel but when I got the receipt, it was just over $ 2/​gallon, which sounds right.
Everything about this rental system makes so much more sense than the norm, from the rental app on your phone to the refueling to the car itself. Great service. We used a $ 50 off code and it was cheaper than if we had rented a normal car. I think this was the code we used: AFF-​FTD

Very dishonest group at the Love Field location. I chose to rent from Silvercar on the advice of a friend. The pickup process was clumsy, but I was not in any huge hurry and I chalked that up to a new employee and this being a newer location. The return was where the real frustration started. I noticed a rick chip in my windshield and showed it to the agent upon my return. He thanked me for my honesty in pointing it out. I asked what would be involved to have it repaired. He assured me that this happens often, and that Silvercar would take care of
it and that I would not be responsible for any cost related to the rock chip.
Nearly five months later, I received a bill from a collection agency for $ 629 in damages, including three days ‘loss of use’ at $ 177 and $ 100 ‘administrative fee’. I immediately called Silvercar and explained the conversation I had with the return agent when I was assured that I would not be responsible for the charges. The person I spoke with was very rude, told me the return agent had no authority to make decisions related to what constitutes fault or vehicle damage. I was told the location manager would call me to discuss the situation. I never received a call, despite following up multiple times.
I then contacted my insurance company, who contacted Silvercar and the collection agency, asking for documentation for the (1) windshield damage, (2) loss of use charges and (3) the administrative charges. My insurance company was provided only the windshield damage repair bill, which they paid.
Silvercar’s collection agency is still harassing me for payment of three days ‘loss of use’ as well as their ‘administrative fee’ despite being unwilling to provide any documentation about those charges.
The location manager still has not returned my call.
I would not recommend doing business with Silvercar — you can’t trust that what you’re being told by their employees is within their authority, and you can’t expect management to get involved to resolve any issues.

I booked a reservation at the Dallas love field location. Lamont was very helpful, however the app would not let me scan into a card and kept asking me to have the concierge verify my card (which he did). I tried several credit cards, all of which are active, and still kept getting the same error message. I reached out to customer support and spoke with Julianna, whom stated she was the manager on duty, and she said she can’t do anything to help me. I don’t understand the purpose of a customer service job when you can’t do anything to fix the situation and are extremely rude and condescending. Maybe you should reevaluate your hiring process for CS because you probably some of the worst customer service I have ever received from a company and the fact that I can’t rent a car due to a glitch in your system is completely unacceptable from a customer stand point. And now have to pay extremely high last minute booking rates elsewhere.

Great services and immaculate cars they are way ahead of all the other rental companies. They picked me up at the airport in the car i was to use! Explained how everything worked including the built in WiFi (cool) Diana was very nice and professional on the return in and gave me a ride back to the airport. This is an experience everyone should get to enjoy when they rent a car!

Two Words! On Rails! Audi A4 Quattro S-​line — on rails — in control — in handling — in confidence — in snow — in sleet — in rain — in dry conditions — On Rails! Among the few acknowledgements you must declare while renting one of these masterpieces of human engineering is that you agree ‘not’ to drag race! Imagine Avis or Hertz having to ask this question as they rent you an econobox from japan. Not! gonna happen. Here, Silvercar, Audi, happened!!! These cars are not for amateurs. You have to appreciate German engineering, driving capabilities, and have sufficient experience in life to fully appreciate this rental. If you don’t, just go to Alamo. If you do, open your Silvercar App on your iPhone, and order one of these machines. You Will Not Be Disappointed! Only makes me wish I wasn’t on business and that I won’t have to park this machine for most of the day. So sad. Oh well, getting to work and going to the Hotel, will Never be as fulfilling. Cheers!

Can NOT say a single negative thing about my experience with SilverCar. They have far beyond exceeded my expectations from the ease of checkin due to up to date technology, friendliness of the staff, willing to work with you on any problem that might arise whether it be promo code, etc. The smooth ride of the Audi is just an added bonus. I will never rent with another car service!

I am never going with another car rental company ever again. The fact that they are in major airports is perfect since I travel a bunch. The app is extremely easy to use and they always have coupons for $$$ off. It can get expensive, but hey, it’s an Audi! The vehicle is beautiful and I just could not get over how well it drives. Extending your rental is a phone call away and you are only charged $ 5 for gas (THEY FILL IT UP). Mileage is unlimited (I have driven from San Francisco to LA and back). Getting to the actual place (in Fort Worth) was a bit confusing though. I thought they were located at the rental place at DFW (and they were before), but after a few minutes of looking, an airport employee let me know they actually moved off-​site. All in all, I highly recommend SilverCar.

Terrible… relying on technology to do business… no real help. just a lot with audi on it… any little glitch in the system… your screwed… I’ve been screwed three times… imagine getting off a plane to no vehicle that you had already prearranged.

If you’re looking for a reliable rental car company, then DO NOT rent from Silver Car. We made a reservation the night before and ensured that all of our information was verified. We show up to the rental car location and it was a nightmare from the beginning. The concierge Brandon had NO clue what he was doing and was of absolutely no help. After almost ten minutes, we were essentially told he couldn’t help us; we couldn’t rent a car that day and we’d have to wait until the manger came in an hour later. After contacting the manger, she gives us the run around and tells us to call corporate who says that the manager just simply didn’t feel like renting us a car. I am appalled at the lack of customer service and communication. This business will be lucky if it’s around another year. With so many options for rental car services, do yourself a favor and DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!

I pass this company everyday on my way to work. A few months ago I needed to do some travel for business, and was looking to rent a vehicle. I checked the usual (hertz, enterprise, Avis) and then remembered Silver Car. While the rates were slightly higher than the usuals, the service and car was significantly above par!
Since I was leaving from home (not the airport) they picked me up (I only live 2 blocks away) and gave me the tour of my brand new Audi A4. It only had 700 miles when I got behind the wheel… Impressive!
The car drove fantastic and I really didn’t want to turn it in a few days later, but reluctantly did. The return was easy, and within 2 minutes my receipt was in my inbox.

Rented an silver Audi (all they rent) near DFW. WOW were we impressed. Their app does it all: reservations, payment, check-​in, map to their location and the return. The car was fabulous, service was almost too good and too fast. No hassles, no paperwork, no upsell pitch, just a fabulous car. Prices are very competitive with upscale rentals from traditional rental car companies. They even drove us back to the airport terminal. This is the way car rentals should be. Will definitely rent from Silvercar again when we travel to the Dallas area in November.

You heard of Hertz, Avis, Enterprise, etc??? This is not that. At those places you reserve a mid size car and arrive to a counter where the rep says they are all out of that size and can get you in a minivan or a 2 door Yaris with a lawn mower engine. Also at those places you wait for a shuttle that may or may not arrive on a regular schedule to take you to/​from the cars.
With Silvercar, you get treated like a VIP and pay less than what you probably would if you rented a mid size at one of those other companies. From the moment you are picked up through an on demand app to the moment you unlock the car with your phone, everything revolves around you! Even drop off is made easy by having their staff drop you to the terminal in your rental car! Can’t beat it. These guys rock.

I rented a Silvercar and it was definitely the best car rental experience I’ve had. The location is sort of hidden on the left side of DFW’s rental center, but it was a wonderful feeling to be able to walk past the counter and drive off quickly.

Fantastic rental experience, and with the first time renter discount, was cheaper than most other options.
The pickup process went really smoothly. The car was in immaculate condition with only 300 miles on it. One nice little attention to detail was leaving a cigarette lighter USB plug in the ashtray so you could plug in your phone.
Return process was great as well. Met at their offsite location as was dropped off straight at the terminal (not sure if this is typical or not), which saved me a lot of time by not having to take a shuttle back from the rental car center where they picked me up at the beginning of the rental.
**I’ve heard that the return process can get a bit clustered if there are multiple returns happening at once, and I could see that happening, but that was definitely not my experience at all.

Poor communication from silvercar almost made us miss our flight. I was in an assumption that Silvercar is located in DFW rental car location. But they are now located in an offsite location which is still closer. Upon rental the rep told me that I have to return the car to the location marked ‘Silvercar DFW’ in the navigation system. While returning the car I navigated to that particular location and it took me to the place where they perform maintenance to the cars.
Then I reached out to silvercar and I got the right address. Because of this confusion we lost an hour and almost missed our flight. Apart from that the free wifi is a joke. It got a 3G connection and you are better off using your smartphone. Sure they have a great rental process. But their miscommunication ruined our trip.

This is the best rental car experience I have ever had. Picked up a Silvercar at DFW to head to a destination wedding out west. The app worked perfectly, and I was quickly on my way. Thanks to Audi’s navigation and Bluetooth, it was like I was in my own car with all the ammenities I could possibly need. I got a 2015 A4, which was immaculate. Honestly the cleanest rental car I have ever seen.
I will use Silvercar every time I travel to a Silver car destination.
