Sheraton DFW Airport Hotel

GABBY she turned our entire day around just via her incredible customer service. Choose Sheraton! They also have a bar & holiday inn near by does not, fyi.

Well it’s a beautiful hotel. However the morning staff was rude. I was over charged for my stay and I was told to call back 5 days later to try and resolve it. I was promised a call back from the morning supervisor and he never called. Won’t recommend this hotel nor will I ever stay here again

I have to write a review for this hotel, because they are amazing. My flight got canceled last night with really bad weather, so I made my last minute reservation. I called hotel for shuttle, the scheduled time was like 30 mins. But they arrived in 10 mins with kindest staff. And after arriving the hotel, for some technical issue, my reservation didn’t show in their system. The gentleman was working in the front desk, he took his time and very patient to called 3 – 4 different customer service numbers to find out what the problem was. He is very polite and nice, kept apologizing because he knew I was tired and hungry. I had great experience and I will definetly go back to them.

Second time staying here before early morning flight. Last time I will stay here. Year ago stayed here Abd got picked up at rent as l car center. Desk clerk said no problem Abd called for pick up and informed I would have to take airport shuttle and then call for pick up. Shame on them Abd me for picking Sheraton.

Had a Spartan race and booked this hotel and flight via Expedia.
American Airlines lost my luggage and ultimately I missed my race, ruined my weekend, didn’t get to realize my quest for a triple Trifecta (this sounds Greek to most of you, but you Spartan racers know my pain). Told the attendant at the desk that AA lost my luggage and listed the hotel as my contact point (cell phone was dead and pretty much just had the clothes on my back).
The attendant was nice and tried to «upgrade» me to a business suite… but I already got that upgrade via Expedia, so I think she was just trying to be nice. Now a $ 100 food/​beverage credit would have been nice. The free breakfast and cocktail hour in the very not-​so-​swanky members only lounge was just OK. Was talking to a really pretty lady from Morocco and saw her later that day with hubby or boyfriend; I said hello in the buffet area but she didn’t acknowledge me. How rude (and not unexpected for such a disaster of a weekend).
I checked with the front desk staff throughout my Saturday to see if my luggage had been delivered… no such luck. It wasn’t there as of 3:00am Sunday morning. Some of the staff seemed to be annoyed that I was checking in… oh wait, my cell phone died (because I was a rookie traveler and didn’t carry-​on essential stuff because I thought AA knew how to transport luggage).
Fair hotel, just a shitty weekend.

Ate at the hotel restaurant. My server might have gone home before she closed me out. I hate waiting to pay, but I can’t stand having to /​look for someone to pay/.
Not a bad hotel, but with a restaurant like this I can’t justify giving more than a star.

Room was clean and fair priced. The breakfast was well prepared and the staff was very polite and helpful.

My mom loved this place. We had a layover for 2 nights and mom loved it. It’s an entirely smoke free hotel and we definitely appreciated that. Sheraton offers a shuttle from the airport to the hotel free of charge which runs 24 hours. It was great! The shuttle is huge and air conditioned. Front desk was helpful and incredibly kind. They even got the shuttle to take us to Dennys down the street because we were so hungry and the hotel restaurant was already closed. I would stay here if I’m ever in town again.

I’ve stayed here a couple of times. Overall, the property is nice but my gosh it took longer than necessary to correct a billing issue when it wasn’t that complicated to begin with. I would consider this a business travelers hotel even though it’s pretty much in the middle of nowhere. There is a huge area where business travelers can get online and get some productivity in. Theres a bar and restaurant on premise which is great since there isn’t anything within walking distance. The rooms are comfortable and somewhat modern.

It’s a beautiful room, great view but not roomy enough for a family of four like requested when booked through hotwire. It’s a gamble, whether you get a good room or a great room and this time I am not overly impressed. More disappointed in hotwire that it was supposed to be a top bracket family friendly room. There are two double beds, comfy but not all that great, no sofa, no fridge, sink or microwave. Breakfast is not included either. Verdict is still out on shuttle service. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. The mandarin mint soaps are nice, and there is a mini loofah (how sweet) if I were traveling alone on business this would be a great place to stay. For a family it’s ok but there are better out there that provide space, comfort and a great complimentary breakfast. Bigger isn’t always better.

The room and hotel itelf are quite nice. The halls appear to have been recently renovated. The room was very comfortable and up to date.
My problem is in their billing. I booked the room through priceline so it was already paid for. They needed a card for incidentals, of course. The hotel then proceeded to charge another $ 65 to my card. The front desk clerk I spoke with coudln’t do antyhign about it, and connected me to a voice mail in the accounting department. Over two business days later, and another phone call and voicemail, and nobody has returned my call. I’m getting a bit pissed. If not for this, I’d have given the hotel 4 or 5 stars. Very nice room for the price.
Edited later that day… amazing the power of social media… a facebook post received a response and an email address. emails were exchanged and problem solved. Thank you. Again, hotel was nice… just watch your statements. (but this isn’t the first time a hotel has done this to me)

Stayed here several times. they recently renovated the place and the rooms and everything are aweesome… they have also gotten expensive as a result.
Good service, friendly staff!

Got trapped at DFW due to missed flight connection. We booked online for $ 80 which included breakfast, and used the free airport shuttle. The lobby area is partially under construction, but the desk area was nicely renovated. Stopped at the bar which featured friendly service, a variety of local brews on tap, and food that was a step above bar standards. Bacon bisque was excellent, the prime rib sandwich was just average. Hotel room was recently renovated. My only gripe is a lack of outlets in the room, especially near the beds — lamps on the desk and bedside tables had no outlets which made charging all the usual electronics a hassle.

Great location near DFW. Convenient shuttle service. Though the club level was being remodeled all the staff were very accommodating for requests. Food was fresh and good variety. Rooms look upgraded and quiet.

I wrote the original view the night I got there, but later that night I got horribly sick with MSG side-​effects (headache and stomach ache) from the sauce on the salmon and Asian slaw.
I also got a nosebleed from the tap water. If you look up the map of fracking drill sites, the area is surrounded with them, so the water is inevitably contaminated. You can actually smell the chemicals in your nasal passage. That’s not really the hotel’s fault, but just be aware and don’t drink anything other than bottled water.

I booked my 6 day stay here on Priceline and arrived at 1am after a long day. I was greeted by an awesome staff member. They were all sold out so he bumped me to a Junior Suit which was great to be on the club floor.

Location location location, I was a few minutes from everything and I had to go downtown twice and all over Dallas really. I was so close though to Southlake, Grapevine, Downtown, even Verizon Center.
Club Floor was awesome. Free Soda and Water and breakfast and snacks at night. The staff was also just so friendly and so nice. I really appreciate them a lot!
I’m a huge Sheraton fan and one of the main reasons is the bed. It is so comfortable and I love the heavy comforters and plenty of blankets they give you. Internet to was fast and easy to access. I didn’t order room service but the menu looked really great and extensive. There are plenty of eating places within 10 – 15 minutes from you
Negative Comments
It is an older hotel and you could see some issues. They do have flat screen TVs but channel line up was not good at all and very very few HD channels on top of that. The refrigerator was old and iced over and anything I put in there froze. Water pressure wasn’t great.
I would not recommend this for family or kids. The pool was out of order and kind of small plus you’re not in a really great location for family/​kid type stuff. I think they’d find it boring, but with that said I was 10mins from Southlake which has everything… so…

I just want to say again the staff was super nice. Not one of them that I interacted with was unfriendly. I really enjoyed my stay!

Decided to try the small coffee shop in the hotel. Big mistake. I was given a $ 5 voucher to use the hotel. First, I ordered a cappuccino and was given half coffee and half milk. I ordered a muffin and it was as dry and hard as a rock! I also ordered a cup of yogurt. It was the only thing worth eating.
When I tried to use the voucher the young lady didn’t know how to apply it so I was charged an exorbitant amount for a basically inedible breakfast. I really do not understand why many hotels have these exact issues.

Just like Philly. Check the bathroom. Hair on the floor and in the tub. I would not accept this if it was my hard earned money paying for this room.

***The Sheraton DFW is a nice enough hotel, but I prefer Marriott for its friendlier customer service***
This Sheraton is near DFW and it is very similar to Marriott hotels. The rooms might have a slightly more contemporary décor. The bed was nice and comfortable with good linens.
There were areas where this Sheraton could have been better though. The A/​C just never got cool enough so it was a little warm in the room. The bathroom and shower were fine though the shower head was too low. There was a nice touch of complimentary bottled water in the room and Internet access was cheaper than Marriott at $ 10 per day.
The lobby was a little smaller than I was expecting, but it was nice and comfortable. Their restaurant had a great open feel. Their breakfast buffet was okay. There was not much variety, but what they had available was decent. Their breakfast buffet was a little pricey.
Their fitness center was good. It was 24 hours and there was a good number of machines. It was not that crowded for a weekday morning, which was different than quite a few Marriotts I’ve been to where you have to wait for a machine.
The room rate was high, but the room rate for the nearby Marriott, which is probably similar to this Sheraton, was even higher.
Service was polite and efficient though Marriott’s customer service is friendlier.
This Sheraton is an okay full service hotel. I prefer Marriott, but Sheraton probably delivers a very similar experience so if you are loyal to the Starwood program, it is probably a good option for the area and also probably consistently less expensive than the nearby Westin.
This Sheraton offers complimentary parking in an open lot. It is easy finding an open space though you might not be able to find a space close to this hotel’s entrance.

I stay at the Sheraton DFW twice a year during our Toastmasters District Conferences. We have always been taken VERY good care of and have received great service.
The rooms are clean and the hotel offers all the amenities you’d need during your stay. IO love the beds, they’re like sleeping on a cloud, extremely comfortable. The rooms are very spacious where you have enough room to spread-​out and work.
The conference facilities are first-​rate with an excellent catering staff. The gift shop is well stocked with any of your last-​minute needs. Also the restaurant, although a bit pricey, has a good selection on their menu.
