Good prices but the sales people are annoying first 5 seconds of walking in we were approached by 3 different sales people. One of the guys could sense we were a little annoyed and stated we aren’t on commission lol! Don’t get me wrong they were extremely friendly and helpful but they need to back down a little

What the hell lady! So I bought a table here like years ago worst decision of my life. Now the blow up my E-​mail my phone with telemarketers. I got a call today I was at work so I didn’t answer i called back a woman answered she said «Sam’s Furniture this is blah» I was like «oh hi sorry I was just checking on who called me» she said «how can I help you» I said «no I’m fine thank you» she said «no give me your name you might have a bill you need to pay» :/​wtf I said «huh no i have no bill» she than said «what is your name so I can check» I gave her my name she than said «oh it was for customer appreciation week can I interest you in…“click I hung up. Customer appreciation week my butt. This place needs to work on customer service I will never buy anything here again.

Well the people here are not great sales people! I went in with a budget and asked what they had IN STOCK, meaning available same or next day, and was told the mattress set I picked was in stock. Well after swiping my card as a cash paying customer, I was told my set was in stock at the ft worth store. I was offered delivery service as well but after taking my zip code they tried to charge me $ 85 to deliver less than one city block! So long story short… It’s now been 5 days and still no mattress after paying for it! I had to call them just to be told the transfer wasn’t put in and I have to wait another day… To be continued

Shady Sam, the Furniture Man doesn’t deliver the goods. In fact, he can’t even SELL the goods!
Needed some furniture a few weeks ago so I stopped by this Central Irving establishment to check out the offerings. Decided on some stuff and confirmed a delivery date so I figured I was good to go… until I was informed their credit card reader was not working and I’d have to wait until tomorrow or pay cash right now. Well… since I don’t usually carry $ 2,000 in walkin’ around money in my pockets, I chose to wait until the following day.
So I called the next day to seal the deal over the phone (like they said I could the day before) but new day and apparently new rules as they told me I’d have to hoof it in to pay in person. At this point, I’m losing my sense of humor pretty quickly but I figured what the hell so I drove in just to get this hassle done with… BUT WAIT, when I got into the store, I was told the credit card reader was down yet again and I’d have to wait another day.
So at this point, I think to myself, if these morons can’t get even get their equipment to work to keep revenues from wandering off to their competitors, how in the hell can I be assured that they’ll even care about getting my furniture delivered after they’ve rung me up for $ 2,000? Well, the short answer is that I can’t of course.
The next day I called back and someone named Elaine answered the phone and gave me the same song and dance about their machine being down again. I tried responding but every time I tried to get two words outta my mouth, she interrupted and began shouting me down, so in frustration, I finally told her to put a sock in her mouth and let her know (LOUDLY) that since I couldn’t even TALK to her about getting a deal done, I’d be going to Freed’s instead. All I heard on the other end of line was a click… LOL. Real class there Elaine!
I gave them an extra star for the kids who greet customers and work on the floor. They were the only welcome part of this attempted and unpleasant buying experience. The middle and upper management part of this pathetic outfit really sucks as you could probably gather from my diatribe above. Store wasn’t too clean either and the store layout was pretty bad as well.
Paid a little more at Freed’s for my stuff but the quality was a lot better than the hijinx at Sam the Sham and with none of the drama and bullshit to go along with it.
Avoid this dump.

Very decent prices and love the options they provide, especially the layway. Big ups to Eric the Manager, the only reason I decided to come back the 2^nd time after the failed to given the Correct price. Thanks to Diana for helping me find the things I need. Even the delivery guys who brought in a box from my car I couldn’t carry, Thanks Matt!
NOW BIG CONCERN: My Bedroom set I brought was defected, and they couldn’t put it together. It was broken. The only reponse I got was we will call you in 48 HOURS. Thanks Sam’s Furniture, guess they want me to sleep on the floor. Manager couldn’t even tell me what they could do. Nor did they apologize for it. So more then likely I’ll get my bed next week, which I let them run my credit for nothing. Because it will be paid off next week. At this point they can take all the crap I ever brought from them back if I do not have my bed within the next 24 hours.
I also I think there should be better communication between the Reps. My address was wrong after I told them 3x and confirmed and the girl who called to confirm had know idea what was going on or see any notes made by the previous person who confirmed. Also customer service over the phone needs work and as well as a few of them that sit upfront, the females especially. Also didn’t like the fact when they took my payment over the phone asked for my security code. Been working with credit card machines for 9 years you don’t need the V-​code to take a payment. they insisted I did. Fix these little things ASAP.

My wife and I have bought from Sam’s 3 times in the past. We started out with a kitchen table and paid it off. Then we bought living room furniture and paid it off. Then bought a whole bedroom suite and paid it off. Sam’s has given us the ability to furnish our home with not so great credit which has been a great resource.
Saying this I recommend buying name brands only. Our kitchen table and bedroom suite were both Ashley brand and are of fine quality, our living room set is of unknown brand and horrible quality however it was of the cheaper variety so you get what you pay for.
So if I like this place why the only two star review? Well, I went into the store the other day because my wife has been wanting a small deep freezer. They had the perfect size for about $ 215, great! I told the guy I would take it and asked if he could just put it on my wife’s account. I didn’t assume he’d just take my word about the account but I thought he could at least call her and verify that I was her husband and that she wanted the item. Nope, not willing to do that. It’s a little frustrating because my wife is busy at work and they close before she gets off but whatever. Ok, so I say I’ll just pay cash. That’s when they told me the delivery fee was $ 80. I thought the delivery fee in the past was cheaper but I knew I was not willing to pay that much for deliver. I told the sales guy that was way too much. I told him I could get the freezer cheaper somewhere else but I was already here so I was ok with the price but not the price of the delivery. I told him I’d be willing to pay $ 50 for delivery which to me is still expensive but more towards fair. Nope… the guy was not willing to do it.
Well, I left with no freezer as I was not willing to pay $ 295 plus tax for it from sams in cash. That day after my wife got off work we went to Homedepot. It turns out that Homedepot and Lowes both offer free delivery now, and it’s not even for a limited time. My wife and I picked out the same freezer size for $ 199 and had them do a price match we found for $ 188 and we got free delivery.
In the end we ended up paying $ 188+tax rather than $ 295+tax with sams for the same thing.
So Sam’s. You could have had me finance the freezer with you and you would have made money off the freezer and finance but you weren’t willing to do that. You could have made money by selling the freezer to me for full price by giving me a better price on the delivery but you weren’t willing to do that. So I moved on and ended up getting a much better deal. This is no way to treat a customer, certainly not a customer who has spent probably $ 4−5k with you. So will we buy from you in the future? Maybe, but probably not due to your lack of flexibility and inability to care about a customer.

We couldn’t be happier with our new furniture, but the people at Sam’s are the best! Every person we were in touch with was kind and helpful! We appreciate the financing options, too. Can highly recommend!

Best furniture store I’ve ever worked with. The prices are the lowest I’ve found. Best of all, the people are very nice! I recommend Sam’s for sure! Ask for Dorothy, she’s fantastic!

I appreciate the customer service I received while being at at Sams. The gentleman was very helpful and answered all my questions. And the cleanliness of the store. I shall be making future purchases at Sams Furniture, they have large variety to choose from.

I bought a dining set, couch and bedroom set from Sam’s and I am in love with my furniture! I like that the sales people are not behind you the entire time and pressuring you to buy something. Annabelle helped us and she made everything very easy! We had an issue with our bedroom set being on back order but they did everything they could to get it to us asap. Thank you! Definitely recommended this place to friends and family!

That was the quickest transaction I have ever had!!! I love the fact I can do things online and walk in the store and just sign a couple pieces of paper and be out the door in minutes and not hours.

I walked in, told the salesman exactly what I wanted, he took me to exactly what I wanted. I bought it on Wednesday Evening and it was delivered Saturday Morning. My future purchases will be made at Sam’s!

Let me start by saying i have never wrotte a review on anything. I spend 5 hours in this place trying to buy a couch. After picking out one couch in particular i went to pay for it, and was informed at the counter that it had already been sold to someone else, but i could buy a brand new one instead off the floor model for an additional 400 $‘s, mind you the couch was only 800, so new price was 1,200+ another 200 if i wanted the ottaman that was originaly included with the floor model. So i just selected a diferent model, when i arrived at the register a second time i was informen that the model i choose was back ordered 3 weeks, something the sales man fail to mention. So i picked out a third couch, i was only able to get half delivered because the other half was back ordered too. After all this and 5+ hours at the store the manager refused to give his manager discount 10%. Horrible experience, i would never recomend this place to anyone.

STAY AWAY!!!
We had purchased what was supposed to be a brand new washer and dryer from this company. Upon delivering there where several key features (the logo was worn on the dryer and the dryer did not come with the specified drying rack) that pointed out these may have been used and where not in fact brand new. When asking we were told they were brand new from the warehouse. Upon using the washer we noticed that it was not working properly, vibrating very badly and the soap, bleach, and softener dispenser where not draining properly. When using the dry sense on the dryer it turned off after about 10 – 15 minutes of use and did not dry the clothes completely. When contacting the company they sent out a technician, who stated that there were problems with both the washer and dryer and that he would request new ones to be sent to us. We have been given the run around for the past 2 weeks. We were informed as of yesterday 4−09−13 by the owner Herb Weisblatt whom stated «they have done enough for us and that our accusations were not correct» He then stated «we would be given a FULL refund including the delivery charge as of 4−09−13». They are scheduled to pick up their merchandise on 4÷11÷13. When speaking with the representative to confirm the pickup, she stated that per the owner Herb Weisblatt, we were not to be refunded until they receive the merchandise. This company has lied to us for the past 2 weeks, claiming that a new set would be delivered to us. Then out of the blue calls to tell us we were lying about the washer and dryers «condition», then lies to us about refunding us on 4−09−13. When we found that to be false, we immediately called our bank to dispute the charges. These people are crooks! They are owned and operated by family so put the word out there that the WEISBLATT family are nothing but a bunch of crooks and liars. We will be telling everyone we know what happened to us and hopefully put these people out of business!

This place is in kind of a shady neighborhood, but the selection and prices are all right. I need a bunch of stuff — couch, headboard for my bed, table and chairs. I checked this place out, took some photos of stuff that looked all right. I like that the prices are clearly marked. It’s a nice enough place, and I do recommend looking here if you’re in the market for a couch. I’m still looking around for stuff but may come back here.
