I love these cupcakes! I can see why others would say the icing is too sweet but I still love them. I’ve gone a few times and never felt the cake part was dry. They don’t put too much icing on the cupcakes so I don’t feel the sweetness is overpowering. Cupcakes are a little pricey but i don’t mind since this is an occasional treat for me. I always recommend these cupcakes to anyone I know. As far as the workers and the place itself: it’s nothing extraordinary but I’m there for the cupcakes– not the extras.

My husband and I really enjoy the salted caramel cupcakes from here time to time but some days I feel the cupcake is just too dry on the inside. I really hate to say this but the last 2 times, this has been the case. Our friend sampled a wedding cake cupcake and she said the same thing. But the Oreo cupcake was super moist and delicious. So, due to the lack of consistency, I’m rating it a 3 stars but it doesn’t keep me from still going back occasionally.

Pretty tasty and yummy macaroons! The only only thing is I wish they made the filling in the macaroons thinner. The pecan delight and the red velvet are my favorites! Will be back to try more macaroon flavors and maybe some cupcakes!

I worked with Antoinette on a Thomas the Tank Birthday Cake for my son. She did an amazing job! She worked very hard on a very short timeline. She worked very closely with me, was very attentive in responding to emails, and worked to make the cake exactly as I suggested based on the pictures I sent as well as the drawing. Most cake places said they could not get it done in time, especially with the detail I was looking for. The cake was very impressive. It really amazed our son and the guests. It looked great and tasted great too. Many times you either get a beautiful cake or a tasty cake, but this one was both. It was also a great value and the pricing for the birthday cake was very reasonable. I am very happy with her work and would definitely recommend her to my friends.

Amazing! Just tried the fruity pebbles and birthday cake Maccarone’s and they were delectable. It was also the cheapest Maccaron I have seen in the metroplex. Will definitely be coming back

We got some bonbons after eating sushi nearby as we had a couple hour drive home. The bonbons were flavorful fresh and a real treat.

I am a huge fan of macaroons in general and I was excited when I discovered Pink Frosting’s close proximity to my home. I decided to take my little brother to Pink Frosting cupcakes after I picked him up from school. The cupcakes were beautifully displayed on stands and the cupcake menu, on the wall, was large and noticeable. My brother has an allergy to peanuts, but the employee informed me that only one of the cupcakes is made with almonds. We decided to order one red velvet cupcake and four macaroons. The flavors of the macaroons that we ordered were vanilla, strawberry, and lemon. The macaroons were extremely good. The filling could be better; taste like cupcake icing in my opinion but overall they were great. The texture was consistent and they were crunchy to my liking. The red velvet cupcake was phenomenal. It was fresh and the icing was smooth and creamy. I would easily give Pink Frosting 4 ½ stars! I will definitely return. Sn: my red velvet cupcake was placed in a small Chinese takeout box… I was a little confused by that.

I get cupcakes from here time to time and I love it! My favorites are the salted caramel and the Oreo cookies and cream but all of their other cupcakes are really good. I do however wish they had more varieties and had fresher French macarons but other than that this place is a go to place if you are in the area and wanting some cupcakes!

Best cupcakes in the metroplex! Better than Sprinkles IMO. Moist cupcakes with super creamy buttercream frosting. Delish! Try the salted caramel chocolate if you’re looking for a suggestion!

Best cupcakes I have ever had! Looks more like a takeaway place! It’s not a cupcake bakery where you can sit and have some cupcakes and coffee! I had salted caramel and banana cupcake. both of them were distinct in its tastes. very fresh and delicious! A thumbs up to these guys! But the macrons were all sold out, dint get a chance to taste them though !

Extremely over priced for small cupcakes. The cashier was extremely unfriendly. Soon as I walked in and saw that I wasn’t going to be greeted I should have walked back out instead I looked at the dinkey cupcakes sitting around(5:30 pm on a Friday) and I ordered 3 diff flavors. I split one w a friend and didn’t enjoy it the cake tasted like a off brand cheap mix and then the frosting was so thick and sweet it burned back of my throat! I can make way better with Betty crocker at home! If I’m going to spend that kind of money i will continue the drive to sprinkles and at least get something good enough to even enjoy?!! My advice stay away! And advice to them is to teach that rude girl to say hello or welcome!

The macaroons are absolutely heaven. Happy birthday is my favorite because I love the almond base. You cannot go wrong with any of the wonderfully cultivated sweet treats. I will be a forever customer not to mention the exceptional customer service. Hands down the best macaroons in the dfw area!

I ordered 2 cupcakes, Salted Caramel and Chocolate Coconut. So I didn’t vary the cake flavors at all they were both chocolate. They were both delicious too which means I guess I have to make another trip to try a different variety of cake. The cake itself was very chocolaty and moist. Here’s the deal, I bought these cupcakes at lunch and they put them in a cute box. Well I get out of the car left the cupcakes and then went to zumba and again they were in the car. When I opened up the box I expected melted icing and dried out cupcakes. To my surprise and delight that isn’t what I got. They both were delicious especially the frostings. I plan on returning soon to try out another flavor cake and hope I am equally satisfied. The price was comparable to me. Cupcakes have become an expensive commodity and I don’t mind paying the price for good ones.

The cream cheese icing was very good but the cupcakes don’t have a strong taste of their named flavors. For example, the bananas foster cupcake tasted like a yellow cake cupcake with cream cheese icing. Tasty and moist, but tasted nothing like Bananas Foster.

The cupcakes at the Las Colinas location are the best. Definitely a treat. You must try the Red velvet the icing us the best. I try to get them every chance I get.

Terrible experience, will never go here again and will do everything i can to prevent others from patronizing this place! I walked in and ordered a «Happy Birthday» cupcake. It had white frosting with sprinkles on top of yellow cake. The person for whom I was buying the cupcake is severely allergic to nuts, so even though the cake didn’t look like it would contain nut products(as opposed to the Turtle cupcake next to it that had a pecan on top), I went ahead and asked just to be sure. I was told it did NOT contain nut products, so I went ahead with my purchase. Fast forward 30 minutes when I am in my office panicking because my coworker is having a reaction to the ALMOND cupcake she was eating. That’s right — the«Happy Birthday» cupcake that I was told was nut-free was actually an ALMOND cupcake with ALMOND buttercream frosting!!! So irresponsible to provide this type of misinformation. My coworker literally could have DIED from this mistake. Especially if you’re going to have a cupcake with a name AND appearance that does not give any indication of containing nuts, you’d think your staff would be acutely aware of this and would make a point to let people know. This is absolutely unacceptable, and I for the health, safety and well-being of others, I hope they do not make this egregious error again.

Who doesn’t like a cupcake I had the vanilla with whip chocolate icing it was ok then I tried the red velvet it was good. Both had a lot of icing I just took half off the cake very moist. The shop was very cute and cupcakery!

Had the chocolate with raspberry butter cream at this location. Cake was moist. Frosting too sweet for me so I took most of it off and I did not prefer the consistency of it. I have to admit, I had tried the other location in Coppell several months ago(can’t recall the exact cupcake I had — some vanilla variation & it was very dry and crumbly) and I vowed not to return. I ended up trying this location due to someone saying how good the cakes were and not realizing till I was in the store and asking the server if they has another location, that is was the same franchise. I decided to give it another shot and the chocolate was redeemable. I mean if you mess up chocolate(recipes usually call for oil therefore inherent moisture) something is wrong. So I’ll give them a 2. If I ever go back and try another I’ll consider changing the rating. Oh, and I also don’t like the brown paper bags they give you the cupcakes in. Both times, my frosting ended up off the cake and all over the bag and the oil seeped through. When I considered the really nice presentation from Society Bakery, this one is a little lacking. Society bakery cupcakes I got were $ 3.50, Pink Frosting was $ 3.25; I guess that’s the difference a quarter makes. :)

I ordered three dozen cupcakes for my son’s birthday party. The flavors we purchased were: chocolate, vanilla, chocolate-strawberry, M&Ms, red velvet, and banana. The cupcakes all came out very pretty and they tasted good. The cake itself was okay, but the frostings were delicious. The vanilla cupcake had an almond buttercream frosting, and the banana cupcake had a really good banana cream frosting. I would order from Pink Frosting again. I do think the price gets steep for high volume orders. It would be nice if they offered a discount of, say, 10% for orders of more than 2 or 3 dozen cupcakes.
