Decent hookah but horrible service and food. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. It took them an hour and a half to bring the food and it turned out horrible. The facility is extremely understaffed and servers are rude.

Horrible hookah place. Mediocre hookah. Definitely don’t order the food, they take an hour and a half to bring out your food which is dry and stale and definitely not worth it. Their service is horrible and slow. Their staff is extremely rude. Go somewhere else

I initially thought this place would be great. It’s beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is nice. & the Hookah was really good BUT customer service was AWFUL… based on that alone id never go back.
When we got in it took them 20 minutes to take our order, Another 50 minutes to bring our food, they checked on us 1 time. And you can’t call it checking on us because we had to get up and go find someone to bring us charcoal, napkins and our food. It became extremely frustrating.

Cozy place to chill or hangout with friends. Hookah was pretty good and the staff are super friendly. Good service overall!

I went here last night and service was good. The upkeep of the inside was not all that great. Place seemed like it needed to be painted. But for what we came for (hookah) it was pretty good. They played good music and made sure to open up the door to let the smoke air out every once in a while. They came around frequent enough to check on us and ask us if there is anything that we needed. Make sure you know that this place is a BYOB (Bring your own beverage) because they don’t serve alcohol. So make sure you run by the store if you want to drink. Overall, pretty good.

If you’re trying to just chill with your friends, this is a great spot, small and cozy. The guys who work here are super friendly and they make sure your hookah is hitting well at all times. The only con is that the lounge is a little hidden, it’s kind of hard to find.

Disappointed with the experience, website states $ 9.99 for happy hour hookah however I was charged $ 10.99. I was actually told they don’t have a happy hour. BYOB is expensive as another reviewer stated. Place needs some TLC and consistent customer experience. Not a great start and they appear to follow in the same shoes as the old place previously named Petra. Even the menu has the name Petra on it. Did the management really change or just the name.
Update: I wanted to respond to comments from Mo R. I came in at 4:30pm but place was closed, 4pm is when the place is supposed to open. I purchased a hookah at 5 and left after 7– I purchased Hookah during happy hour and should be charged accordingly. Prices for BYOB are not advertised, I suggest you make that change so customers are aware of what they get for their $$. Happy hour on website clearly states 9.99 and does not mention location.
Mo R was polite and came by every so often to check, Hookah quality was average — I prefer some of the places across town. I don’t appreciate Mo R comment that I only care about Money — I am just providing my view on my experience.
Suggestions: Management should take the comments and look to improve not criticize the customer. Update your website if its wrong, create menu with pricing and decide if your called Petra or Pharaoh’s. Open on time.

We were visiting from Oklahoma, and looking for a relaxing night to start our weekend get away. The atmosphere was great but what really made our experience was the owner. He was amazing! This will be a stop on every trip in the future! Good music, incredible service!

Harsh hookah that lasts maybe 35min. Expensive BYOB. And inattentive service. The guys that run this place are exceedingly polite, however, for the price it’s just not there for me. Actually bought a hookah so I wouldn’t have to come back here.

I’m really disappointed that I’m just now finding out about this little whole in the wall. The guy that was working there was super sweet. this is a late not spot so it’s open until 2 and 3 in the morning! not that I was there even close to those hours of operation!
there were lots of comfy couches and tables, it’s BYOB… and I believe they have a food menu. 3 – 4 TV’s and decent music playing. it’s a fun little spot to just kill time. I’d go back.

So this isn’t a terrible place to go if you want a chill and pretty empty hookah lounge. It was kinda difficult to find and when we arrived there was only one waiter. That meant that the tables were left dirty and the bathroom was even worse. Blood on the floor and we’ll just not sanitary. However the staff was helpful when he was around and the music was decent.

One of the worst hookah places you can go to! The place, first of all, is kind of a whole in the wall, if you’re not familiar with the area then good luck finding it. It is not inviting AT ALL. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else. Not impressed whatsoever with this place. I would not go back unless I’m desperate for hookah, but not even then. I’ve been to way better, classier hookah lounges and this is nothing compared to them. I’m sorry I have to give 1 star, I hate doing this, but I wouldn’t want to say something I don’t mean. Wish this place the best though.

Saw this place on Unilocal and decided to get them a try! Less than 20 min from the house so this will be a regular spot for me and my friends to smoke and relax!!!

Awesome place to chill with friends after a stressful working day, relaxing fancy environment and music, hookaas and food never disappoints, thanks Mo for the happy time.

Generally I liked the style of the place, the lights, the fancy hookah, and the art on the walls… The music was good but was not loud enough…
The hookah it self wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it was okay…
The prices are way too high though, anyways I did have fun though, the service was good and fast, and it’s a nice place to hang out with your friends and enjoy some hookah!

Been here a few times and place still does not disappoint. It’s a laid back place with a well atmosphere. Service is great also :)

Decided to check this place out since I saw it on Unilocal and it was nearby. Usually I have to drive 20 – 30 minutes out to get to a decent hookah lounge, so I was pretty excited to see there was one only 5 minutes from me.
My friends and I were the only ones there (granted we went an hour before closing on a sunday) so it gave me a chance to really look around.
First impression was that it was abit small but nicely decorated and very clean.
The owner and staff are SUPER friendly and accommodating. Even though we went super late, he was more than happy to serve us. He also asked if we were korean and then turned on korean music for us (it was hilarious)
The hookah itself was good, I would’ve liked it to hit better but overall it was nice and tasted great.
I would definitely recommend this spot!
Can’t wait to check it out again during their peak hours (Saturdays between 9p-​midnight is what the owner told me)

It was pretty empty when we went (although it was 2am on a Saturday)… comfortable couches and the owner was super nice, he even brought us a complimentary appetizer of chips and salsa on the house [which I would have eaten for sure if I hadn’t just stuffed my face with indian food].

Place was pretty dirty. The hookah wasn’t hitting that good. But that’s not why I gave it a one star. I order a al-​fakher shesha which says $ 11.99 on the menue. Check my statement today and I got charge $ 20 exactly. For what? I didn’t get a drink or anything else. I don’t like getting lied or cheated too

The rating has NOTHING to do with staff. The guy on the premises was super nice and answered our questions. The 1-​star rating has to do with the fact that 1) they are on Groupon but do not honor Groupons; and 2) the place reeks of pets. I am not an animal lover or hater but the place didn’t seem clean at all. Between the odor and the floor being obviously filthy, it is not a place I recommend. There are plenty of other places to go check out, and we plan to.

This was an absolutely amazing place! Searched & tried many places, in & out of town & this was by far the best. Recently came from NJ & so glad to have found Petra. Service, quality, atmosphere, price & staff were by far outstanding. Highly recommend, love it & definitely our new spot.

Shisha is bangin! These boys know what they’re doing. They showed the Mayweather fight and didn’t even charge a cover. Awesome lounge if you’re into hookah and Arabic food.

Petra is a middle Eastern place in the same complex as I love phở, initially may be set up for buffet but currently serves items just of the menu. The place has a cafeteria look with two distinct seating areas to accommodate large crowds.
I haven’t tried the food but the different sandwiches seem like a good deal, however, the dinner looks a little expensive.
I tried the Turkish coffee which was really awesome, strong and smooth. It looks like a decent place to get some common Mediterranean salads, kababs, gyros, and sandwiches.
