I am a big chicken biryani fan. After moving to Dallas I got excited to see paradise biryani restaurant. I ordered to go on my first day I landed in Dallas. After I go home and started eating, biryani itself is horrible literally. I promised myself never try to have chicken biryani in this restaurant again. I am disappointed for good never going back.

Great for to-go orders. Have to know the items very well to get the best on their menu. Dine in during lunch hours can get a bit taxing.

Good place for ONLY biryani takeouts. Recently tried there buffet and it was pretty good. One positive point that they are open until late nights on weekends.

Being one of their oldest customer, I thought I should write them a review l. I love this place only for their biryani and Chicken Manchuria. They serve the best biryani in the DFW area. They are closest to the original Hyderabad biryani. I also place my catering orders with them just for their biryani. I have been to their lunch buffet couple of times and they surprised me with a very different dish like oats upma or beetroot halwa which is very unusual for a buffet. The only drawback is that the service can get slow when you dine in. They once messed up my catering order, but that was one mistake in 5 years so i guess that’s fine. Overall this is the best place for biryani. They also serve midnight biryani over the weekend.

The last time I visited this restaurant it had a different name, but also served Indian cuisine. That’s how long it has been. The restaurant is bigger now and there are more dishes compared to the former restaurant, I counted no less than 25 dishes. Here you will find the traditional butter chicken, their version of Tandoori chicken, chicken biryani, vegetable biryani and other Indian offerings that I’m not familiar with, but they were all GREAT! I felt the Tandoori chicken was not that salty, but that’s what the salt shaker is for. I’d rather have my food less salty than more salty for health reasons. My mouth is watering as I type and I believe sodas are free too. I don’t like high-fructose drinks so I stayed with ice water with lemon. To finish off a good meal, you find the usual Indian desserts but this place has one better — a «main» dessert. Mango mousse is what I had, and it was delicious. The mousse was not too soft, it was on the firmer side, just how I like it. I think they have different«main» dessert offerings each day. Try this place you will not be disappointed. I plan to go back tomorrow, that would make it twice this week, that’s how tasty the food is!

I had the lunch buffet around 2 weeks back and it was totally amazing. Just loved the various options in the buffet. However, we had biryani a couple of days back and the rice and the mutton felt a bit stale. We complained to the waiter and he had a plain answer like«sorry»!! So even they kind of acknowledged that the biryani they are serving is stale. The amount they charge, they should do a better job with the biryani. Maybe it was an odd day where this happened. We really had high hopes but we’re disappointed. Please take this as a constructive feedback and hoping that next time we are not disappointed. Cheers!

The food is wonderful, I have been 4 or 5 times and each time I leave full and happy. My only complaint is that if you go during dinner time, the service is extremely slow. And I mean an hour from the time you order to when your food arrives slow. Don’t go if you’re on a time crunch, but it is a great place if you have the time.

It’s good that you can find biryani in late weekend nights but Don’t try Haleem here it’s waste of money.

I was amazed at how many items they had on the menu! I tried 3 of the main dishes and all of them were excellent! The staff was nice and the food was out quickly. This is one of my top go to places for Indian food! Definitely worth a try:)

Alright, my 2011 experience kept me away from this place for a looooong while. In the middle of 2013, some of my friends were swearing by it. My interest was piqued and decided to sample it in 2014(yes I know, late to the party). Took the Wife to Paradise and was pleasantly surprised. They had re-done the interior, no longer the bachelor«adda» looking place. The best part was the biryani. As updated as the décor. Flavorful and tasty enough to bring me back again. And yes, 2nd time didn’t leave as much as an impression(I blame the mind) but yes, I had to redo the review and ratings. So far, the only bad experience I had was the insane wait time in case you didn’t think ahead. Punishing. So, be wise, order ahead.

Just came here for the first time after a good workout(gotta earn those carbs) and had a good first experience. The malai kofta was one of the best I’ve ever eaten and the spice level was just right. The NAANS-oh man-were the softest, fluffiest, and freshest that we had ever eaten! Given the name of this place, my husband and I then ordered the veg biryani medium spicy. We are not big biryani fans anyway but this biryani was pretty good and had a perfect amount of masala. It was served with mirch Salan and raita(yogurt) as is traditional. We left with full stomachs and a second mortgage :)(one star less because some of the items seemed over priced– the double ka meetha) the sweet dish that’s essentially bread fried in butter then smothered with cream, sugar, milk, and pistachios. Overall, a good experience and we shall return and order less food next time!

I decided to come to this restaurant after craving some Biryani. To my surprise, this restaurant offers a buffet during the lunch hours. So, I decided to try all of their Vegetarian dishes and to tell the truth, the dishes were very tasty. The flavor, and spiciness were on point! I even forgot to try their Biryani… that’s how good their dishes, and Naan were! If you go to this restaurant, try their Coconut Rice it’s very good!!! :) Note: This place is good for Vegetarians that love Indian food.

Not great at all. I stopped going here for about 3 years. Couple of my new friends said its good now, so gave a try yesterday. I dont see any change. Very poor service, mediocre taste of Biriyani, too much of oil in curries. Not worth it.

I had chicken lollipop, Kheema biryani and double ka meetha. Both the biryani tasted similar and were good… Double ka meetha was out of the world

Called them before going there, they said they are open till 1am to take order. But once we went there they said their kitchen is closed by 10:30pm and they can only take Biriyani. It is also to mention that biriyani is very much spicy and gravy. I don’t recommend it to anyone, unless you want to have late night super spicy biriyani.

I would have to say they have have the best Biyarani in the DFW area! I found this hidden gem randomly with friends, and have been going back there since. We tried the the chicken tikka masala, bhind(okra)curry, mixed vegetable curry and the biyarani. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. The only thing is the service is a little slow, but they are all friendly and nice

This place is alright for a quick Indian buffet fix. It’s under $ 10 for lunch buffet with the usual suspects, tandoori chicken, tikka masala, choley, daal, etc. It’s a no frills kind of place. Get your plate, load it, eat it, pay for it, and get the heck out.

I recently ate Indo-Chinese at Bombay Chopstix(see my review) down the street. During my dining experience they were showing a live cricket match on an Indian television network. The channel broke for a commercial and I noticed a commercial about an authentic Indian biryani spot literally a minute or two away. I quick bookmarked it on Unilocal and finally got to try it a few weeks back when I was craving authentic Indian. Yum! I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon very hungry and was not looking forward to a long wait for my order to be prepared. So of course I was thrilled when the host offered me their buffet option. For a little over $ 12 you get your choice of pretty much everything, vegetarian and non-vegetarian. It was completely packed that afternoon with families throughout. That was pretty refreshing and I take it as a a sign of tasty food prepared fresh(which isn’t always the case when it comes to buffets). I packed as much as I could into my little container and the lady at the counter went out of her way to go grab warm fresh naan from the back to compliment my meal. Everything was delicious, flavorful and piping hot. I was surprised to see that others may have had a less than fantastic experience here, but mine was just fine(speaking for the buffet only). I will be back!
