This is the second time I have used Robby. My car broke down in Dallas last week and had to have it towed back to Irving. I was driving down 161 at Preston Rd. My car made a loud boom and lost power. I called Robby the next morning to let him know. Robby found out what was wrong which was 2 different problem. Repaired it and charged me a very fair price. I am very pleased with all the work that Robby and his stop did. I highly recommend Lopez Auto Repair.

I, thank goodness, haven’t had to use Robbie’s shop in a few years, but I always refer him to my friends. And this week i needed some work done and as always the service was top notch. It’s really nice to have a mechanic you can trust, and if you are reading this, now you do.

I’ve used Robbie Lopez and his guys for over 15 years. He has never steered me wrong.
He has always come in under his quote price and been completely honest.
A few years back I needed a repair. Since I was there I had them look at my brakes. I told them I have the money to fix them now so lets get it done. Later that day Robbie told me I didn’t need new brakes, that all the noise was just brake dust and that I have another 5,000 miles on them.
Most other shops would have done the work and taken the money. Instead he did the right thing and got a customer for life.
I now live in north Euless and still go to south Irving for any car repair.

These guys are absolutely wonderful! I had gone to a mechanic closer to my house to look at the brakes on my car. After finding multiple issues, they quoted me for $ 1400 to fix it all (which is pretty much more than my car is worth). My roommate referred me to Lopez so I called them up, brought it in, and they looked at it, told me what it actually needed, and it was only $ 275. So they did the work and the brakes are so much better now! I’m definitely going to go there for my car from now on. So much better prices than most places I visited and great quality work that they do. Even better, they are great at communicating to you and very upfront and honest about things. They don’t try to swindle you into something you don’t need!

I have an older Explorer Sport, was looking around for a good repair shop and found Lopez Auto Repair and am I glad I did. They did exactly what was needed (front wheel bearing) and didn’t try to upsell at all, which is an issue I have with dealership and big box repair shops. I will be going to them for all my repairs! Great customer service and highly, highly recommended!

I started using lopez because my brother law recommend them, he has worked on all of his cars, never had a issue, I now won’t allow anyone to work on my car but lopez auto, they are fast, fair, and trustworthy.

My Family has been going to Lopez Auto Repair since I was a kid. They have always been GREAT. Robbie, Jeff and Eli are great mechanics and great people and I would recommend them to anybody. Honest, fair and dependable mechanics are hard to come by these days and these guys are just that.

These guys are great! I usually work on my own vehicles but in a crunch and needed my truck repaired. My friend recommended Lopez Auto because her dad always counted on them to meet his needs. These guys got my truck in and got it out in the same day… reasonably priced. They will be my goto repair shop in the future. GREAT RECOMMENDATION!

Firstly they are very rude over the phone. Since I am not a car mechanic myself I do tend to ask a few questions and the owner just gives very short answers and keeps repeating himself.
When I went to the location I thought they would be nicer but again customer service was bad
Now lets talk about the repair itself. I went there to get my brake pads and rotos replaced on my BMW 528i. My previous rotots were causing a shimmy on my car and I am guessing they were ‘warpped’.
Once I got the rotors and brake pads replaced they wouldnt let me test drive the car with one of the mechanics in the car
I noticed a slight squeal while driving that I figured would go away after a while but it did not.
A month into driving my car the shimmy comes back.
2 months into driving, the vibration on my steering is worse than it was before I took the car to them
I purchased another set of rotors and brake pads ($ 500) and told them that the problem was occurring again and I thought they would fix it as warrantying the labor
BUT he wanted to charge me again!
I did not take my car to them and would not recommend them to anyone else
