Kids R Kids

We’ve been here for about 6 months. My 2 Kids are ²⁄₅. Their teachers are GREAT! (Ms. Vaughn & Ms. Whitney) & We also LOVED Ms. Tracey.
Ms. Kristen is such a delight & very helpful & easy to talk to about anything. My only issue is with the director. Ms.Katrina. Where did they find this hoodrat? She is so ghetto & has no professionalism WHAT SO EVER! She avoids parents with concerns & is very indirect. Rolls her eyes when she’s speaking to you & blows you off. I don’t understand how she’s made it this far for so long, bc I’ve seen & heard so many complaints on her. This establishment would grow so much if they just replace her. Or make Ms. Kristen the director. THAT WOULD BE GREAT!
Mr. Tony VanValkenburg… Please open your eyes to this woman. You have GREAT teachers & staff… But this woman is your downfall.

For 4.5 yrs, my daughters have been in attendance with KRK Las Colinas. They have grown up with the KRK family. I’m proud of the tremendous knowledge they have learned, caring they received and sheer happiness they have enjoyed. Sadly, my oldest will be entering Kindergarten in another county this school year and we will need to switch facilities for the before and after care. I will continue to use KRK for monthly Parents Night Out because I trust them.
As a working mom, I feel confident in my choice in childcare choosing KRK Las Colinas.
On a related note-​KRK goes above and beyond with extra curricular events; holiday program, Spring Fling, PNO, Moms/​Dads/​G-​Parents Day, etc… The Pre-​K graduation ceremony was spectacular and really touching.

Update: We’ve been at Kids R Kids for two years now and they continue to impress.
My son’s teachers are so caring. They tell me stories about my son every day and I can tell they have real affection for him. They appreciate what a funny, crazy little person he is.
He comes home from school every day – two and a half years old – talking about his teachers and what he did that day. «Miss Tiff, Miss Janett, Miss Tomeka! We eat cupcakes! We see grasshoppers!» He does art, learns stories, grew a plant. He’s learning to potty. He talks about his friends. He’s learned skills like sitting still, listening, orderly play that are hard to teach him at home when both parents work full time. They make the time we do have together richer and more fun.
Anytime I check the cameras the kids are orderly and calm. How do you do that with 20+ two-​year-​olds in one room?! I sure don’t know. I only check the cameras because I miss him and I want to see what he’s up to. I know he’s in good hands and learning and having fun. Thumbs up all around!

We went to visit the place after seeing the high review and we were honestly disappointment by the hospitality of the director. First she was not wearing an appropriate clothing and secondly she didn’t show us an effort to give us a proper tour of the center giving us an excuse that she has to cover the receptionist. The infant facility was alright. I did some research on this center on
and found few serious incidents. Here is one of them
1 a caregiver didn’t use a good judgement when she decided to wrap scotch tape around a child’s hand in an effort to stop her from crying. The same caregiver didn’t demonstrate good judgement when she spoke inappropriately about children in their presence.
Be careful to ask all these cases when you visit their next time

After conducting day care interviews for our future daughter, Kids R Kids was on the top of our list. They where very professional and welcoming even to an unscheduled tour. I would suggest this business to a friend/​family member.
