I love this salon! My girls love it too. Ashley is always consistent and she’s the best stylist there. I highly recommend this place.

Just got my hair cut by Ashley a few days ago, and she was amazingly kind, honest, and helpful. I was nervous to cut my hair shorter but she talked me through it and in the end my hair looked thicker and longer (somehow)! She was so kind as well and I would go back in a heartbeat. Already recommended her to my friends. Also got an airbrush tan a couple weeks ago– was not disappointed! I love Jessy’s Girl! :)

I can’t say enough positive things about this salon. Jessy has been doing my hair for over 12 years now. I have never had a bad experience here and I love the level of professionalism I experience here each time I visit. They always take the time to talk with you and really work hard to make you happy.

I am so picky when it comes to my hair and I have been to salons all over the metroplex – and I have to say that Jessy’s Girl has been the best experience I’ve had.
My stylist, Ashley, was so excited to cut my hair (I wanted an asymmetrical pixie). She took her time and knew exactly how to execute the cut – She made me feel at ease and I absolutely love my hair.
I can’t wait to go back to her and let her do more fun things to my hair! Thank you Jessy’s Girl and staff for a great experience! :)

I’ve been going to Jessy so long that I realized today my review is probably due for an update!
I want to add that by now, Jessy has managed to do things with my hair that I always wanted, but didn’t really think were possible.
There are plenty of color geniuses out there, but she is amazing at predicting how color will look when it fades, and tailors her entire approach to how you will look not just when you leave, but after weeks of washing, too.
That’s what makes her far and above the best stylist I’ve ever had.

The salon is modern, clean, & I received good service. Unfortunately, I went twice, but it did not turn out exactly how I wanted. I really liked my first stylist though — April! I recommend this place if you get a good stylist. My 2^nd stylist was terrible. I don’t remember her name!

April is awesome! And I loved the salon; the music was fun and hip, you’re offered a beverage and snack, and the best part is you can use their foot/​leg massager while your color sets! Umm yes please!
But back to the important part, the hair! April knew exactly what I was looking for and in fact showed me a picture to make sure, and it was the picture of the celeb whose hair I was going for! She also gave me tons of styling tips and product recommendations, and the recommendations applied to what I needed, it did not feel «sale-​sy». I will definitely be going back to see April, my hair looks and feels amazing! :)

I had an Airbrush make up done by Stephanie (23yrs old). The make up was awful, so called airbrush — was $ 100+tips. All she did is sprayed some air on my face and rest of the face she covered with a normal foundation. She worked on My eyebrows for the longest time, when I looked in the mirror I looked horrible, my eyebrows were colored in extremely thick & round shape. Literally the whole focus on my face were the eyebrows! Omg and Eye shadows looked like unfinished, literally had spots were the eye shadow was not blended at all. Cheeks: She couldn’t even contour my face, I had a pink/​red blush that was literally shaped horribly (circles) and next to my nose. Omg I looked like a clown. Waste of $$$!!! Ugh.

Love this place! The staff are very nice ;) this is my new salon! I love the way April cut my hair. I moved here from Germany almost a year ago and I found this place by accident looking for a tanning salon. Had my hair cut and it came out great! This is my new place!

Jessy and her staff are awesome! It took years for me to find a stylist that keeps things classy yet modern, and I’m sticking with her! I drive over from Southlake for my appts and she’s very personable and reliable. I am surprised at the negative reviews on Unilocal,and they seem like odd situations. I wanted to commend them and encourage others to try this salon.

I think this place is great! Not only do they color and cut very well but they also give you tips and tricks to cut down time in front of the mirror in the morning. I’ve referred my friends here as well. Don’t let the Groupon complaints stop you from trying this place.

I found my new salon! The search is OVER! Thanks to Groupon, I found this gem of a salon and my new stylist… I couldn’t be more thrilled. I have been in Irving for two years now and I have searched high and low for a salon that meets my needs.
The Salon: Clean, trendy, welcoming and comfortable. They do a pretty good job of making the place feel nice without being snooty. Coffee, water and snacks are offered and they even have foot massagers for use while you let your color process.
The Stylist: Misty! Misty is amazing for a few reasons:
1. My hair looked and felt amazing
2. She taught me a few tricks about how I can save money by changing up the services and the frequency of my salon visits
3. She listened to my ongoing issues with my hair and took the time to show me a different way to style it to help minimize said issues
Overall, Misty is what everyone is looking for in a stylist… she understands hair, she cares about how you feel about yourself and offers realistic solutions that don’t cost you extra money. I had a stylist like this once before many moons ago in Southern California… From Portland, to Chicago and a few years in DFW I have been in search of a stylist like this… I finally found her.
Side note — all of the stylists seemed great. I watched several women come and go through the course of my appointment and everyone looked great. All stylists seemed to make their clients top priority and deliver great results.

If I could score less than a 1 Star I would. The owner has zero customer service abilities. I’m so angry I could scream. I am at work and am so mad I came on here to make a comment. There are many salons, I live in Irving and this would have been convenient but I’d rather frequent a salon closer to work or anywhere else!

I had considered using this place, until this week.
I work at a nursing home in the same town as this salon. There I am, at a station doing my paperwork when up comes a male and female I didn’t recognize. The male stated he had come in the side door so I began to give him directions how to get back there. I work in a large building and people often get turned around. This male went on to tell me that he was from this salon and could offer me $ 400 worth of services for $ 45…ok…he goes into this whole speech about this and that, then asked me for $ 45. I politely declined and he suggested I go get a credit card… really? I declined again at which point, he suggested I call someone to bring cash or a card.
If this salon was doing so well, they wouldn’t have to sneak into my place of employment to slink around asking for money for a booklet of mystery services.
I will never go to this salon.
Never.

New to the area and of course I had to find a new stylist that was as amazing or better than the one back home, which is sometimes hard to find. I am so happy with my hair! Everyone from the moment I walked in was super friendly and helpful. Jessy did my hair and she has such a creative style that I didn’t really have to tell her what I wanted and she did an AMAZING cut and color. Atmosphere and customer service are great in addition to some really talented stylists. Definitely give it a try!
