Ivan’s Appliance Service

Stolen from! Mary from Ivan’s came to my house, spent 5 minutes with a volt meter looking at my oven thermostat, and then told me it was a bad switch. I knew that, and had already told her that I suspected it was a bad switch. The reason I called her company out was to replace it, but she stated that a repair thermostat switch was no longer available for my oven. She charged me $ 70 for 10 minutes of her time, to tell me something I already knew. A few days later, I looked online for the replacement part and it was the first search result that turned up.
Don’t use this company, they will rip you off. Mary lied to me and stole from me, and I can’t believe an appliance service company would come out to a house without repair parts. She comes to «diagnose» and then charge you for it, without ever intending to repair anything.

Mary is awesome. Had a problem installing a dishwasher and she came same day and fixed it. She is the only appliance repairperson I trust.
