Description

Specialties

At i Fratelli Ristorante & Wine Bar, we’re known for our distinctive thin-crust pizza. But our house-made red sauce, meatballs, and lasagna have been guest favorites for over twenty-five years. The secret is quality ingredients and tried-and-true recipes which are handmade in small batches.

Join us for a bowl of spaghetti or a platter of Veal Parmigian. Our Chicken Alfredo features a sauce rich with heavy cream, Romano, Parmigian cheese and garlic with just a pinch of nutmeg. Our Lasagna is 16 layers of crumbled meatballs, pasta, provolone, and ricotta. Try it monster style with mushrooms, meat sauce, and melted provolone.

Try our Pesce Soffocato, a grilled redfish filet served with a spicy cream sauce with crawfish and shrimp. We offer small plates for sharing such as Rosemary Lamb Chops, Crab-Stuffed Mushrooms and Calamari. Our Strawberry Spinach Salad with warm bacon dressing, and our Antipasto Salad, are classics. All our dressings are made fresh in-house.

History

Established in 1987.

i Fratelli means «the brothers» in Italian. The i Fratelli concept was founded in Irving in 1987 by brothers George, David, Mike, and Darrell Cole. The Coles still own and operate the company, which has expanded to include i Fratelli Ristorante & Wine Bar and ten pizza take-out and delivery outlets located throughout the Metroplex. Two of our pizza locations are Franchise operations, and we continue to grow.

The core values behind the concept of the original i Fratelli Restaurant remain the foundation of our company. We continue to take pride in the details which make our family-owned restaurant special. We strive to offer great value and professional service in a warm, relaxed setting.

Our own dough recipe is handcrafted fresh daily, and we make our lasagna, sauces, salad dressings, and meatballs from scratch. It is not uncommon to catch one of the Cole Brothers mingling with a glass of wine at the restaurant, or catering a school or church event.
