This is the least helpful GameStop I’ve ever visited. The employee working there ignores customers often so he can talk to his staff about non work related things and has twice told me he could help me with my requests over the phone only to tell me he actually can’t when I actually drive to the store after he’s confirmed he can. I used to like this location but this new guy is just really terrible. I take my business to the Beltline location now.

Honestly I am here once a week and sometimes I will go out of my way to go to this location. The customer Service here is a great and I am very please to always go in here and find excatly what I need. This is the best Gamestop I have ever been to. Bars none.

GameStop has consistently great service from the time you walk through the door. You are always greeted promptly and offered assistance. The trade-​in and checkout process is always smooth. The membership card is worth it. I will be returning soon.

I went in shopping Gamestop action figure exclusives; the options were pretty sparse and picked clean of the popular toys. The staff was conversational and somewhat helpful; but I completely understand that toys and collectibles aren’t their primary seller. However, I still walked out with a positive impression of my interaction with the crew at this GS location.

Their store manager is this older dude with young haircut, and he is great. Big ups. Knows all the games and can refer to your preferred genre

I’ve been to several GameStop in my day and from time to time, I still do. I’ve read and listened to many horror stories about GameStop practices, but I never experienced this myself. Every GameStop I shopped at, the clerks have always helped me out if I needed it.
As annoying as it is, they tried pushing a preorder or whatever the hot item is at the time. What do you do, it’s their job to sell things or offer you deals.
So the day the Xbox One was announced at E3, I went over the GameStop to preorder a console and two games. As everyone knows, people were all up in arms with Microsoft’s DRM policy, which I was okay with. A week later, as everyone knows, MS changed their policy. Since installing the game from disc to hard drive was not an option anymore, I went back to GameStop and wanted to cancel the two games I ordered.
The clerk that was there told me that it was required to preorder one Xbox One game to be able to pre-​order the Xbox One console. I thought to myself «this kind of bullshit policy never existed!» So I went ahead and cancelled one game and kept one game on order just to please the employee. Seriously, in all the years I purchased games and a console, requiring a game to be preordered to preorder a console was never a requirement.
That same day I emailed GS corporate and told them the story. A few days later, I received a call from the district manager and I explained the situation. After our conversation, he made it clear that there’s no policy that a game is required to pre-​order an Xbox One console. Currently, I still have the Xbox One game on preorder but I plan on cancelling it before launch.
For the ones asking why I want to cancel the games, it’s because I want to go all digital on the next-​gen console. Since the DRM policy was changed, playing diskless is no longer possible if you buy the game at a retail store.
So my one bad experience at this particular location is a warning to everyone else. Don’t believe or rely on the employee’s opinion or knowledge. They are not your friend. They are there to make money for the company.
There’s also one older salt/​pepper haired chunky guy that works there that rubbed me the wrong way. One day I traded some games in and I asked for the credit to be placed on my card for a later purchase. For some reason, this request really bothered the shit out of him because he rolled his eyes directly at me as if I personally insulted him.
Since then, I try to avoid this douchebag. If I knew his name, I would call him out on it here, but you’ll know who he is when you see him.

Yah, I still play video games. What else am I gonna do living alone where I don’t know nobody??? My old 360 died, kinda. The HDMI output stopped working. I do love my 360 and had recently bought some more used games. I buy used games online wicked cheap and send them to my friends’ son when I’m done with them. Anyhow I got Skyrim and was dying to try it so I had to re-​buy another 360. Ugh. Anyhow I went here and was hoping to pick one up used for $ 150. That’s the going rate at other GameStops that I’ve seen. The guy here said used was $ 180 and new was $ 200. Whatever. I bought a new one. The new ones are designed to look like the XBOX One and run SUPER QUIET, so that was cool. Initially I took it home and couldn’t get it to work so I actually took it back to the store thinking it was a dud. But it was I who was the dud because you have to hook it up old-​school and THEN switch it to an HDMI output. I thought it would auto-​sense that I had an HDMI cable plugged in but I guess now. Anyhow after all that nonsense it’s working fine. Runs hot and freezes when it does — but that’s been typical for 360s that I’ve owned. Yah I been through several. I’m a gamer.

I was looking for a specific game, this store had one left in stock used. When I sent my husband over to pick it up, there was a credit card malfunction. The store manager, Jeff, discounted the game and credited my card back. I will always make this my first stop for games!
