Capps Van & Car Rental

This company has given us so much headache!

We rented a cargo van and was told to bring in documents but because it was a holiday, and they couldn’t reach the insurance company, they wouldn’t rent to us. This caused us to lose our furniture and had to pay for additional help.

So we lost out on money, time, and getting our things out on time because someone booked our reservation, spoke with us on the phone multiple times, and then had an oversight of the holiday. They didn’t even offer to make it better. I was literally laughed at and told to have a great day. The manager offered that I rent out her more expensive van! That was the only thing they tried to do to help. 

I’m not sure what will make it better seeing as we already lost the furniture.

They also told me that the vans were stolen as an excuse for why I couldn’t rent. We also had a reservation for earlier that day that they happily rescheduled over the phone but failed to mention anything about needing to contact the insurance company the day of on site.

The front desk even had the card on the computer monitor along with my id and phone number. And said have a great day taunting me as I left. She knew she kept my things obviously by how she acted as I left and didn’t even call. She wanted me to lose them. I know she saw them because the computer monitor is literally the only thing behind the computer desk and when I went back I didn’t even say anything when she smiled and went over to get them for me.

So I think anyone renting should be aware of this before they make the same mistake as I did and trust this company. The owners should know how this employee and manager of this location have been acting.
