Pretty tasty! I was hesitant about this place but after trying it today I was pleasantly suprised. The burgers taste like high end fast food, mush better than a McDonald’s or Sonic, and the curly fries were fresh made and crispy deliciousness. Make sure you try the frozen lemonade as well, it is crisp, refreshing, and tasty. Overall I would definitely eat here again!

Good stuff, friendly staff and those vintage McDonald’s apple pie — remember, the ones that were deep fried??? Staff provides better service than a lot of restaurants. Good sized portions and done creative menu items. Have outdoor seating and two tables inside.

Frito Pie Burger!!! Get it! The curly fries are yummy too, but I really wish they had the Cheesy jalapeño stuffers at this location.

First of all… in-n-out rules. But wow! For a creepy looking place — this was an amazing food experience. On a fluke… we(a friend & I) stopped here to eat. It was nearly 2pm — so the place was empty…(except for the 2 ‘cafeteria-grandmas, and one young lady working the grills)…oh, and there’s only counter space & stools… and yep, it smells like a greasy spoon inside… We both ordered burgers(mine with extra cheese & grilled onions) After finding a few inches of clean-ish counter(which is what you’d expect in a diner after the lunch rush) — I only waited a few minutes for a truly tasty burger, with enough grease on it to insure my hair retained a lustrous shine for the rest of the week. A truly delightful burger — Comfort-Food-Style

Horrible horrible horrible!!! The burger was meh, not bad not good the fries, well they are frozen fries, service was the worst iv ever had anywhere, the order was wrong and when I tried to replace it and demand a refund, they said oh we aren’t going to charge you for the replacement burgers, huh duh! Never got the supposed free ice cream you advertise with a combo, and yes I mentioned that the value at whataburger was better, so the rude little girl behind the counter said next time you should go to whataburger and snapped her fingers at me, I will never never never return there. I’d rather starve. If I could give no stars I would

Burger street is one of my favorite places to eat a hamburger! The meat is juicy, not over cooked. The bun is light, so you really get the taste of the burger, and not just a mouth full of bread. The fries are awesome, definitely curly :). They’re not over salted which is great in my book!

I’ve driven by this place and never heard of it before. I was starving one day — like so hungry I was going nuts — and so I just pulled over here for lack of any coherent ideas on where to get lunch. It’s a nothing little place. It’s meant to be a take-out place — there’s a drive thru and like maybe 6 stools inside along the windows. Kinda gross in there but — I have to tell you, it was a good burger! It was big and fresh and tasty. I mean it wasn’t crazy-spectacular but it was really good. It just may be the best on the street!!! I also got these gross-good cheese-ball things? Kinda gross — like the stuff you’d eat in college — fried balls of processed cheese. Yum! The curly fries come standard and were very good. I don’t know that I’ll go here again. But well, if you need a burger and you’re driving by, it may be worth a shot.

Yikes. While Burger Street may be an age old staple of Irving, I wasn’t at all impressed with my burger. Star 1: How was the service and atmosphere? Burger Street was clearly constructed to be used as a drive thru joint with extremely limited indoor seating, but there is a bar area that is suitable for maybe a group of three people. Service was quick and friendly once I was seated, and I found nothing lacking. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? $ 4.32? Nice. Sub five dollars is more than fair for a fast food burger, and that’s exactly what I paid for this guy: Good stuff. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? Yikes. This is where it all went wrong. First and foremost, outside of a bland bun, the patty, as you may be able to see in the picture, was razor thin. From there, everything just fell short of my expectations, and I ended up with a burger no better than what you can grab at nearby McDonalds. While it didn’t necessarily taste bad, there was so much mustard and mayo that there frankly could have been anything in between the mediocre patty. No Stars Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? Plain and simple? While Burger Street may have withstood the test of time here on N Belt Line, the product isn’t a good one. If you’re looking for a good burger in the area just bop down to Simply Burgers: No Star Granted.

Burger Street has been one of the long-time staples in the City of Irving. Much of my life, I never had a burger from there before, so today, me and a friend decided to visit. I went and ordered the Jr. Deluxe Burger combo as it wouldn’t take much to satisfy me in lunch. The burger was cooked to perfection. Even their curly fries are delicious. While there isn’t much seating indoors, there’s also outdoor seating to enjoy a nice weather day while having your favorite food(s). The next time I come back, I’m ordering their Fritos Chili Cheese Burger. If you have a craving for a burger, chicken sandwich, or a hot dog; I would highly recommend trying it out. It’s the next best thing to homemade burgers.

Burger Street, a local chain, has one of the better cheap burgers around. I also like the sweet tea, though they give you lime instead of lemon. The French fries and onion rings are average. I get my orders to go, though there are a few outdoor tables around the drive through, if you like fumes with your lunch. I’ll choose this over any of the national chains.

Burger Street has been in Irving for a long time(remember it from when I was younger) and it’s pretty clear why its been here this whole time once you try it. Everything here is good, great burgers, great hot dogs, THEBEST curly fries hands down for me. If you like Sonics shakes you will more than likely enjoy Burger Streets. The only thing that keeps this place from being a regular for me is the prices. For me they are really high up to the 6 – 7 dollar range for a combo so I see this place as a treat or when I’m good on money, lol. This is really a drive-thru only place seeing that there isn’t much room to eat inside but there are seats, nothing near the room of a McDonalds or even a Wendys though. A great in an out place if you’re looking for fast food that is actually going to be cooked and not sit for minutes to an hour under a heat lamp with browned out vegetables. 4 stars not for taste or service, but for the price. Try it though! You will enjoy :3 It’s a plus that this chain is only in DFW and one part of Oklahoma(started in Lewisville.) It’s pride to know such a good, genuine place is here in Dallas(like Dairy Queen).
