Technician Fred came on time and quickly assessed the problem; referred a vent cleaning service; cleaned out filters while here. Great customer service and friendly, knowledgable technicians. Perfect.

This was a terrible experience. I do not recommend using this company. I explained the exact error message I was receiving. I waited a week and a half for my appointment which was supposed to be between 12 – 4 to fix my dryer. The tech showed up around 5:30. All he did was tell me everything I already knew. I was expecting him to fix the problem. Instead he tells he will call me in the morning with a quote and it will probably be another 7 – 10 days before he can get the part and fix the problem. He charged me $ 95 and said I should consider really just consider buying a new machine. Thanks a heap! This company will screw you. Stay away!

They were the only company to not push the hard sell for an expensive new unit. They never gave up on fixing our old one and were incredibly kind while doing it. I’m sorry other people have had problems but we will give them all our business.

This company made several visits and charged each time without fixing the problem. I would avoid this company. Multiple negative Unilocal comments I wish I would have read beforehand.

I had their tech Fred come out and look at my dishwasher. He showed up on time and found the problem without taking all day. He was polite and gave me an estimate for the repair and let me make the decision at that time whether or not I wanted to make the repairs. I decided to repair the dishwasher and called in to go ahead and get the parts. I was told that it could take 7 – 10 business days to get the parts in as they had to come from the manufacturer and it may take a little longer depending if they had parts in stock that they would call me when the parts were in and set a time to come out and finish the repair. When the parts were in a couple of weeks later they called and set my appointment for the following week as they were booked up for the current week already. When Fred came back out to finish the repair he was polite and got my dishwasher up and running. I would recommend Alltex to anyone who asked and would use them again in the future for any repair needed to my appliances and a/​c units.

The only reason this company gets one star is because out of three visits, only one was pleasant.
We have a Viking stove with two ovens. A large size and smaller sized one. We had been having problems with our larger one and needed it fixed before holidays.
The warranty company sent All Tex Parker to fix the issue. When the first tech came I explained the issue, I left the room and allowed him to work. He didn’t find anything wrong and left.
I tried using oven that night and of course it didn’t work.
I called our warranty company who said they would send tech again and I requested they send a different technician, since I didn’t feel the first one was helpful. So the second tech comes, very friendly and listened to me explain the issues and attempted to fix the problem. By the end of service he said there was something wrong and it should work (thanksgiving was the following week so we needed the oven to work) Of Course thanksgiving came and we used the oven which failed. We were able to use the little one for sides and dessert, but the turkey had to be cooked at my mother in-​laws.
We had a busy December so we called this week to have them send someone out.
Today the first technician came back, I figured since it was the third trip from his company he would try to solve the issue.
He came in, I briefly explained what happened since the first time he was sent.
He didn’t seem to even pretend that he cared. I decided to hang around and observe what he did.
First of all, he started with the same steps he did the first time he came. Turned on oven and stood there. I waited some time when I hear him playing games on his phone!!!
This is supposed to be a professional company, not handyman or someone we found on a Craigslist ad.
I asked him if he would be doing the same steps he did on his first visit. Which was, turn the oven on and check temperature to show that it was «working». He said «yes», and if did, then there was nothing wrong and wouldn’t be anything he could do or fix.
So then I offer to place an food item inside since by now the oven would haven been preheated. HE COMPLETELY IGNORED ME!!! I was furious about the lack of professionalism. I called my husband to calm down and explain the situation. I then told him if he wasn’t going to be able to fix anything then we were just wasting each other’s time.
This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had dealt with.
We called our warranty company who told us a very different story, he even had the nerve to say that I offered to place a casserole but he said he wouldn’t have time. When he had completely ignored me, and I was not being rude or had given him a reason to act how he did.
The warranty company will be sending another company out, so hopefully they will work out better.
So, no I would not recommend Alltex Parker to anyone! Worst service. I will write an update review on the next company that comes out.

This review is for the company and dispatcher, the tech was great, 5 out of 5. The company and policies about parts, ordering, and appointments need some work.
Let me write out a little time line.
⁸⁄₃ Whirlpool fridge stops working, so I call the Whirlpool support line. They tell me I am lucky to be in Dallas since they have a dedicated tech to work on this type of fridge.
About a week later, he comes out, diagnoses the problem as needing a new compressor, and since it is part of the sealed system, it is under warranty, and does not charge anything to come out, and writes up an invoice with the part needed, date, time, and tells me to call Alltex to book the appointment, and to tell them the part needed.
Another week goes by, and the dispatch calls me to tell me the tech is 30 mins away, and since I was not at home, they delayed it another week. Usually they would call at 8 or 9 the day of to confirm the time, or give me a heads up before the tech leaves for the house.
Another week goes by, tech comes, says he does not have the part, dispatch did not tell him that he needed it, charges me $ 96 to tell me that, and orders the parts. Also there is an upcoming bill for $ 860 in just labor alone to replace the compressor.
In the mean time, I bought a second fridge for $ 50 which works quite well and was much neeed, since it has been over a month.
I gave a call to Alltex again (⁹⁄₂) to ask about getting the first $ 96 credited to the $ 860 — since it was their fault that they had to have the tech come twice. No dice. She claimed they cannot take any other companies word for what part needs to be ordered and only their techs can diagnose problems.
If this was not a warranty issue, I would never use this company. It gets a ²⁄₅ stars since the tech was so polite and also said they were having issues with their dispatch quitting, and hiring new people.
If you want to save money, take out the old fridge, and buy a new one, much cheaper then calling for repairs.

Poor service, just like the other reviews posted. I figured maybe not all of them were as bad as the previous reviewers so I decided to give them a call. Unfortunately in my case the service we got was non existent. We called to get a 2 burner stove top (natural gas) installed. The person handling the call had no idea what I was talking about, asking about the coils on the stove or if it was a tiny piece. I then repeated that it was a 2 burner gas stove top or cook top. It’s got a small burner on the front and a large burner at the rear. It’s gas, hence the name burner. I didn’t know how else to describe it since that is what they are called, that is how you find them online and that is how they are called when you buy them. A gas burner cook top or stove top, usually single or double burner. It’s basic. And they could not even figure out what to do or how to begin because the rep claimed they did not have anyone who could work on it. I have a feeling they do, and that the install would be straightforward, it’s just unfortunate that the whoever answered the call doesn’t know what they are doing or decided not to ask someone who does know.

Thanks to them I will refer them and use them again for my appliance needs.

Terrible customer service at outrageous prices. Have been trying to have one of my two ovens repaired since Christmas. He was out about a month ago and repaired the other oven (more than $ 500), which I never asked to be repaired. Still waiting on the oven that I originally called about to be repaired. Tech called in «sick» last week and now is running about 4 hours late for today’s appointment, which I only know b/​c I called them rather than Alltex lettting me know. To top it off, he added the labor incorrectly (in his favor) last time he was out — glad I checked his math!

They were awesome. Fred was polite, courteous, funny and complimentary about my house. He quickly assessed the problem and is right on top of it. Thanks for the great service! I JUST moved from Scottsdale, Az. to Dallas and this was an excellent service experience.

I was so disappointed with this company. The technician who came to my house did not seem knowledgeable at all, and performed a very cursory examination. I was trying to have a leaking dishwasher fixed and he did some adjusting, but left without even testing the dishwasher. After he left, the problem was much, much worse than before. Water was pouring out of the dishwasher (instead of the slow leak that had been present) and it had changed from running quietly to running extremely loudly. I retained another company to fix what the Alltex Parker technician had done and properly fix the dishwasher. My bill from the other company was much lower than the Alltex Parker bill, and when I tried to obtain a refund from Alltex Parker (given that their «work» had made my problem much worse), they refused to grant a refund and insisted that they had done everything just right and I was wrong. They were rude and terrible to deal with. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

timely and thorough. The conducted the work on my Subzero refrigerator and Whirlpool Washer/​Dryer. Once they received the ordered parts. They installed all the parts in one day without issue.

Really poor customer service. Moved into a new house and was forced to use them by the builder for a leaking dishwasher. Took 2 weeks to get the initial appointment. The technician found leaking dishwasher hose, and had to order the part. He told me 3 – 5 days to get the part, and that it would be much easier to get an appointment to install the part. He was not very helpful or friendly, and it took my asking several times to get that information.
1.5 weeks later– I haven’t received a call yet, so I call them myself. No part. Maybe they’ll get it this week. They offer me an appointment for 1.5 weeks from today. «Can I get anything earlier? I was told it would be easier to schedule the return appointment, and I have a job and can’t keep taking days off work.» They offer me appointments for 2 weeks away instead. Can I get the first appointment of the day? NO. Can I get the last appointment? NO. Can I speak to your manager? NO.
We’ll see how long it takes to get the part, and when I can get an appointment. But so far, they seem incapable of being helpful.

So what to do. We have used these guys three times now. The first 2, they were fantastic. But that was because neither of the first 2 things needed parts. However…
On July 16 the dishwasher went toes up. On July 18, at about 08:15 I called for a tech. I described the problem exactly. Would have gone into as much detail as they wanted.
They scheduled the repair man to come out on July 20. He came — later than expected, but that wasn’t a huge deal.
He pressed a couple of buttons, looked at it and said, «You need a new board». Me, «Do you have one on the truck?» Him, «No we have to order it. «How long?» about 3 or 4 days. Crap so now I know we are into the following week. And we have to prepay, and pay for this diagnostic visit. Also had to cancel a staggeringly good dinner we had planned, cooking with friends.
The tech didn’t do anything on the first visit that got any more information than I gave over the phone.
The board eventually arrives and is installed on the 26^th. And they have the gall to charge for another visit.
So they are definitely off my Christmas list now
