So we went to see a dermatologist to find out exactly what was wrong with our daughter’s skin. My wife showed the dermatologist the prescription ointment this idiot doctor prescribed. The dermatologist told my wife that this is worst thing that you can put on a infant. Especially on the face. The dermatologist confirmed that it was this prescription ointment that was making her bites worst and having this awful reaction to the skin. Wtf ??? This idiot doctor… Stay Away from this crazy doctor !!!

I took my kids for vaccination as only we moved to the states and they didnt have there reports with them. He was soo helpful.

Dr. Wang is the best. Both of my boys go to him (33 months old & 6 months old). He is always patient at answering questions and doesnt make you feel like he is in a rush. Of course the wait could be long, since he is so patient with every patients and parents. But he is definitely worth waiting for. He always answer phone calls if i call really early. One time i call around 7, wanted to leave a msg, he answered… i was surprised, and felt bad at the same time, because i feel like i might have disturbed him. But he was still patient with me on the phone. One tip, avoid Mondays, he is usually overbooked with sick kids on Mondays since he doesnt open on weekends. If you have to go on Mondays, prepare to wait for at least one hour. But like i said, he is worth waiting for.

Dr Wang’s practice seems always busy these days but you never feel hurried when it is your turn. He answers questions patiently.

Dr. Wang is awesome! He is the most dedicated pediatrician, never let a single phone call go to voicemail. We call in whenever we have questions and he is extremely patient. #1 doc in irvine for sure.

This guy is best.
it’s doesn’t matter what date or what time. he always pick up the phone and answer your question.
One time it’s 6:10am, i was trying leave the message to his office because my daughter is in high fever.
i think he connect his office phone to his cellphone, and he helped me and my 2-​year-​old daughter.

The staff’s attitude is horrible, and the wait time is extremely long. I have been visiting him for the past two years, and my average wait time is more than 45 minutes. Sometimes they even stroke through your name but still keep you waiting. when I asked the staff how long i still need to wait after waiting for 1 hour, they literally told me they don’t know!!! How terrible and ridiculous is this! if you choose to go here, be prepared to wait for a long time with your baby crying for milk in your arms. It is simply not professional as a pediatrician’s office to keep babies waiting. with this kind of attitude, it is hardly convincing that they will take good care of your baby.

Words are not enough to describe how caring and responsible Dr. WANG and his office team is. They always accomidate you when your kid is sick. Dr. Wang will either pick up your call or respond almost immediately after you call after hours. He pays attention and takes time in answering your concerns. He is NOT the doctor who scares patients and parents for personal gains. In fact he goes far in making sure the child is fit again. We would give 100 points to Dr. Wang if there is chance. I highly recommend Dr. Wang to South orange county families with kids.

I brought my 14^th month old baby in for a check up and he said we could no longer been seen by him since we are delaying immunizations till she is 5. (Yes, I’ve looked into the debate on this). He told me the medical group that I belong to would mark negative points against him for having my daughter as a patient. And that he would be paid less for future visits. His reason, was not that he minded me delaying immunizations, but that «i was being let go a a patient» because he would not be paid appropriately. I was not pleased that he cared more for compensation then for my child.
I stayed calm and mentioned that we would have to switch a homeopathic dr. till my daughter was 5. He asked which homeopath I knew of and after I spoke the name, Dr. Wang proceeded to tell me that Dr. had stopped his practice. I felt instant skepticism. After the appointment I called the homeopathic dr. only to find that he had not stopped his practice.
Crazy.

This doctor barely touched my daughter during her physicals. He seldom checked her skull, hips, spine, eyes, but just gaining information by «asking» me. In addition, when my daughter was sick and coughing he prescribed a medicine that was meant to treat whooping. Yes, he played with my daughter, answered my phones before and after normal business hour, and was very friendly. But definitely NOT professional. Since I finally realize how ridiculous it was, I won’t recommend him to any of my girl friends any more!

My wife and I are new parents, so we freak out about every little thing when it comes to our baby. We needed a pediatrician that was patient and understanding of our needs. We tried several pediatricians in our area and were never satisfied. Finally a friend recommended Dr. Wang. Our first visit was awesome. The office was clean, there’s an area for sick kids to play and the staff was extremely nice. Dr. Wang is a very friendly and patient doctor and took the time to answer all of our questions (even the dumb one’s). The only down side is that he does not open on the weekends. However, he will return your call within the hour (even on a Sunday night). Dr. Wang is by far the best pediatrician we could have hoped for. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good doctor for their kids.

I took my first baby to Dr. Wang after a friend recommended him when it came time to choose a pediatrician. Honestly, I didn’t get to do much research on Dr. Wang or his background before writing his name down on the hospital papers, but the moment I met him after delivering my baby, I knew I had chosen the right doctor. He’s knowledgeable, caring, patient, gentle, and best of all, VERY good at responding to any messages and calls. He was visiting China for a week once, and he STILL returned phone calls, ALL THE WAY from CHINA! That’s dedication, care, and concern. Unfortunately, my insurance has since changed and I wanted to CRY having to leave Dr. Wang. Once, I even paid out of my own pocket to take my daughter there when I was in between doctors, and he gave me a discount. If my husband were not in graduate school and I wasn’t the breadwinner of the family, I would have paid to continue going to Dr. Wang’s office. I wish and hope that one day we can go back to him.

Very well mannered and patient Chinese American pediatrician. I believe the most important aspect of picking the right pediatrician is their availibility. One big plus is he is only a phone call away if you have any questions at all. If he doesn’t answer your call, you can always leave a message and he will call you back in a timely fashion. Another plus is they can usually squeeze you in if you’re worried about any little thing. B/​c of that, one negative is you can wait a little more than 30 minutes after your scheduled appt to get seen. All in all, a good pediatrician to choose.
