The Church OC

What a great place to be! It’s Irvine’s little hidden gem that is full of great spirited people.
Been coming to this church for almost a little over a year and I can truly say I can call this place my home. Amazing worship, awesome staff and love the youth/​young adults! It is a fun place to be on Sunday’s!

I was seeking a church I feel comfortable with and decided to give this church a try since the Unilocal reviews were quite good. Boy was I in for a surprise! The service is louder than most services I have attended. There were people of all ages and races. The service in the beginning is music, music, and music, followed by prayers and messages relevant to daily life. You can feel the intensity of the togetherness of the people as the music vibrates your whole body. You will not be bored! Expect everyone to get into the music and service; lots of praising and dancing. Oh! Did I say the music was loud? So leave your hearing aid at home!

The Church OC is such an awesome church! Great Pastors, Great leadership, Great Worship, and above all great Kids and Youth ministry!

If you are looking for a place where God resides this is it! A warm, welcoming and loving atmosphere where God shows up is The Church OC. The pastors are friendly and approachable and definitely all about serving Jesus Christ! It is a place where you can come as you are and find plenty of opportunities to grow!

If you don’t like people dancing and jumping in the air during worship you will not enjoy the service. I am all about praising the Lord but the church was a little more free reign than I am used to. Also, during the actual message it is an open dialogue and people often say «wow» and «how true it is» while the pastor speaks. I can’t say they weren’t welcoming because they immediately took me under their wing and gave me someone to sit with, I think I am just more conditioned for a more traditional church.

So I feel that it’s time for an update. I can’t say enough about how much my church how much it means to me. It’s a HEALTHY church! The leadership team is all about reproducing leaders and growing in your gifts and not about competition and one upping each other.
The personal and spiritual support I’ve received here are priceless. My daughter, as a direct result of the relationships with seasoned young adults, has chosen to enroll in Bible college. The youth ministry is engaging and fun.
If you’ve ever wanted to be a part of a church where the primary goal is to follow Jesus and fulfill His mission, The Church OC is for you.

The Church OC is an incredibly welcoming place with some really kind and encouraging people! The youth gatherings on Thursdays are really cool and it’s a great way to learn about God as well as connect with other people in jr high, high school, or college! The after party’s after the night service are a really awesome way to get to know everybody there in a casual setting! Exciting things are happening at The Church OC!

This church makes everyone feel welcome. I have attended this church since 2004, when it was Life Church, and became a member of Life Church in 2008 and then became a member of The Church OC in its first membership class, when Pastors Benny and Wendy Perez took over the church. Since day one when Pastors Benny and Wendy, Pastor Sean and Pastor Miguel, along with the rest of the group from Vegas took over, the atmosphere at 45 Tesla changed. Pastors Sean and Miguel may be young, but are called and anointed of God to pastor and lead worship. Pastor Tony Lopez has done a great job with our teenagers and our youth. My 3 young sons (ages 6,8,9) love coming to both services. How many kids do you know would want to come to church more than once on a Sunday. Pastor Tony and those that volunteer to help him are doing a great job. Don’t just take my word for it, come and experience this place for yourselves. Its a good Bible based church that allows you to belong, even if at first you don’t believe.

This is an awesome bible based church in orange county which was first Life Church and pastored by Phil Munsey and he passed the legacy too Pastor Benny Perez. which now the church is called CHURCH OC!!! I have had the privilege and Honor of serving Both Pastors for about 5 years in the kids ministry. The atmosphere and all the people that attend or serve at the church are amazing. We have an Amazing Campus Pastor Sean Cannell who is loving and caring for all the members of the Church. If you are around the area or are looking for a home church I would suggest The Church OC cause its AWESOME… oh yea i forgot after every Sunday night service we have the best after Parties CAN’T BEAT THAT :))))

Great church! Happening people. very welcoming! Worship is awesome and the preaching is amazing! I really enjoy coming to this church. So much that I even make a long commute just to be there! Excited for what’s to come at the Church OC.

Formally known as Life Church, the church was handed down from Pastor Phil Munsey to Pastor Benny Perez from Las Vegas. Renamed simply The Church OC, it is structural and organized, yet Spirit lead. I don’t know where I’d be without this amazing church family. There is something for everyone at The Church OC!

Beautiful church from the inside out! It’s a church where I feel comfortable and welcomed in. I thoroughly enjoy their Sunday night service. If you choose to attend on a Sunday night, go to their after party! Everyone is welcome to go hang and eat somewhere after church. :))
