I only go here for convenience. The breakfast is OK but the food for lunch and dinner is not good.

The asian lady working behind the counter yelled at me for taking ketchup for my fries. She gives me dirty looks, and I do not feel welcomed here.

Really good food I can get busy around lunch and breakfast hours. Sometimes I like to come here and get the French toast with extra powdered sugar it’s so good. They stop serving breakfast at about 11AM they serve all types of food they serve breakfast burritos French toast omelettes etc. etc. etc. I work at the Irvine towers so it’s super convenient for me to just walk over the street and get some breakfast real quick. I definitely like coming here

I wish I could give –1 star! The lady behind the counter is the rudest person ever. She will harass you if you grab more than one salsa… yelling at you in front of everyone«you need to pay extra for that». ok! Which I am totally ok with but there’s a better way to handle it. Put the salsa behind the counter and change people when they order. Don’t yell at me after the fact… They are unprofessional and their food in nasty. They only thing I order is the breakfast burrito, but I am so over this place and their rude workers! I don’t even know why they are in this building cause it’s considered an A+ building so why do we have a F– café??? DONTEATHERE!!! Walk across the street to Specialty’s café — They have amazing food with great service!!!

Don’t charge Il Fornaio prices but serve food truck tasting food. It may be convenient but not worth it.

So I’m new to the area and this place was close, I’m not gonna lie… I was being lazy. So I order the teriyaki chicken plate. I’m pretty sure they boil the sliced chicken first(probably 4 days ago), then proceed to grill it to a leathery perfection and slime it with a sauce that reminds me of… remember Turner and Hooch? The the 8″ long strings of slobber that hangs from Hooch’s face… That’s what the sauce reminds me of. My salad is one big chunk that looks like the part of a head of lettuce that you throw away. Uugh. Never again. Over $ 7… teriyucky.

Rude even to customers that go consistently. As many people have said, it’s the choice of the lazy and those with little time. Fries are good. Some breakfast stuff and burgers are good on certain days. Sushi is average, not horrible. I just wish there could be some friendliness and semblance of customer service, but that’s their choice.

I’ve been going to this café for the last 20 years. It’s convenient, reasonably priced, seems clean and despite the food poisening comments, it’s never happened to me. They have a good chicken wrap sandwich on Thursdays, sushi Wednesday’s and a delicious breakfast burrito with home made salsa.

Food is decent and service is barley friendly. It’s decent for a hole in the wall café in the middle of corporate buildings. Hamburgers are good here. French fries are good. I like their breakfast burrito and club sandwich. Wednesday is Sushi roll day, okay. Good enough for walking out of the office for lunch with limited time. Price is $ 6-$ 12. If want real good, then you have to drive somewhere else.

First time here and up front works a racist Asian female so be wary and since I was here I ordered the Kung Pao chicken there were a total of 5 small pieces and a few stale peanuts, how do people like this stay in business when there are so many choices, last time I me for me.

I let a lot of things slide from this place. From when my coworker getting food poisoned from their burrito, from when my burger tasted about as lifeless as a deathrow inmate, from when I got stomach aches from the damn pancakes. Wrong day today to be serving me up this thing you call a BLT. Tomatoes tasted old af, lettuce was all brown and dry, and what the hell is that thing that’s supposed to be my bacon. I am done. I really have no idea why I see people going here… AND enjoying their food. Seriously?

I work within walking distance of this café. It’s tucked away in the corner of a building. Definitely hard to find of you don’t work in that same building or surrounding buildings. The food is mediocre, there’s nothing special about it. Their food is a hit or miss. Here is what i normally get: Veggie burrito or omelette — tomato, mushroom, bell pepper and onions. Sometimes they use random vegetables in there. Today there was also spinach, zucchini. «Fresh cut» fruit — Definitely not fresh. I’ve bought some moldy grapes and strawberries before. Overall, I only come here when it’s a last resort and I’m super hungry.

Just an OK place to eat at. Their food is quickly made and I’ve never had a problem with them. Triple decker sandwich is pretty good. Their fries are VERYGOOD. And their burgers are solid, but nothing special. CONS: $ 5 minimum on credit cards Limited inside seating.

Listen to the Unilocalers. Just go for breakfast only. I’ve had their breakfast burritos which are okay, nothing fantastic or anything. I’ve also had their sandwiches and their Wednesday Sushi. Ewww, no. The sandwiches are plain and tasteless. The sushi was horrible. That’s what I get though, ordering sushi at a little mom and pop sandwich shop. Lol. The Asian lady at the front is a little pushy, short and impatient but I don’t think she purposely tries to be that way. Would definitely not come here again though.

1 word: BREAKFAST! — their breakfast gets the 4 stars//lunch gets only 2, so I averaged it out w/3 stars. The breakfast burritos are so amazing, and most under $ 4BUCKS! Lunch, not too good, the club sandwich was burnt, BDLY, like BLACK! GROSS! The wraps are dry, fries are ok and salad are ok. but thats about it. I heard the burgers are good, so maybe. JUST maybe I will give the burgers a try when I’m desperate enough or in a hurry… –Ladies that work there are kinda rude –they overprice for a side of sour cream(My pet-Peeve! Im a sour cream lover) So you heard it from me, if you want breakfast go for the burritos or breakfast sandwich

Personally almost everything on the menu is average EXCEPT for the hamburgers! And yes, I’m sure I will be questioned about my taste in burgers, then again I’m no fan of In-and-Out. Yeah, yeah I am SANE. Okay, maybe it’s not the burger but the sauce that they put on it… I don’t know. All I know is it is greasy, juicy, messy and all around fabulous!

I normally work in LA but sometimes I have to work out of the Irvine office. So one day, I was scheduled to work in Irvine and my coworkers raved about this place because on WEDs, they serve«sushi!» Yeah! I was so excited because they said its gonna be HUGE portions and I’m all getting excited. So anyways, I came, I saw, I ordered. I was disappointed. Just got a lot of rice, low quality spicy tuna and imitation crab meat with mayo. I pretty much just ate what I could and threw out pretty much a huge plate of rice. So when I went back to the office, my boss asked me how I liked it and I was like, «um, its okay, its not the best. I’m kind of a picky when it comes to sushi.» So replied, «oh, yah, I guess its cus I just like california rolls»… I should have known. WILLNOTBEORDERINGSUSHIHERE … but the burgers sure did look good!

YEAHH… no. I go here almost everyday because I work in the same building, but honestly if I had a choice I would NEVER come here(except for their breakfast burritos which are BOMB). The mean lady at the counter scares the crap out of me and their food selection LOOKS amazing, but honestly everything sorta… well. SUCKS. First when you walk in the lady at the cashier starts eying you down like you’re some kinda hoodlum thief out to steal her napkins and forks. woman please! CALMDOWN on top of that when you say hi to her she just gives you a blank stare. scary. So I’ve pretty much tried almost everything here and well nothing is really that great. The beef fried rice is pretty much fried rice with tiny bits of beef sprinkled over it. The chicken teriyaki isn’t that great either, the chicken tastes very chewy and the sauce just doesn’t seem right. The sushi has hard rice. The fish and chips has fish that’s pretty much almost all batter and very little fish. The orange chicken is SOSO, probably one of the few decent things here. Anyways long story short, if you work in this complex and are looking for a quick bite, then come on down! But if you have a few extra minutes then go across the street to either the Specialty’s or the other plaza There’s a food court with good food, a subway, and a pretty bomb Peruvian restaurant.

NO: Anything with chicken in it. I don’t know where they get their chicken, but it’s downright gross. Their usual daily special is teriyaki chicken or orange chicken. Both have disgusting sauces with nearly zero flavor. And it’s really crazy how people seem to lose it for this stuff. Like, people have eaten the meal and then COMEBACK for more next week. I swear, the orange chicken people are insatiable. There’s gotta be drugs in that chicken. The grilled ham and cheese sandwich. Rip off. It’s like $ 6 or something. The fried rice. OMG, grossest thing I’ve ever tasted. Chicken quesadilla. Didn’t taste like any quesadilla I’ve ever had. The cheese/salsa combo was odd. YES: The french fries. Seriously, the most delicious fries I’ve ever had. Again, they must have drugs in them because I come back over and over for more. Try their fries. Cheeseburger. Pretty damn good cheeseburger. Sushi Wednesday is pretty good. They give you really big portions. As you can see, I’ve given this café way too much of my money, solely based on its location. It would get a 1 star if it weren’t for the fries. I recommend you walk an extra half block across Von Karman to get a sandwich at Specialty’s Café. So much more worth the price.
