Target

Been shopping here for a while now, it seems that it ALWAYS gets busy and there is ALWAYS a line if you try and get there in the evening. Will most likely keep making purchases here but only because it is the nearest Target. Customer service here is TERRIBLE! Expect to wait a lot longer than usual.

I went there yesterday and asked the register lady to help or the manager to help because my phone was dying to do the cartwheel they refused then I asked for another person because I was there for over 2 hours and my phone started to die and Eric him and he said fine but when he was helping me Eric was the manager and even that was a managers that said no they do not help people with Cardwell so Eric came along and help me but he was complaining saying he’s the only one on the floor he’s the only one that can help other people and he has to help me right now then after I finish doing that it took me another half an hour I found out he did not just one but three mistakes on my receipt I found one in this late I went over to the customer service summer help me and she deleted the whole transaction. Is that I try to put it back on my card it took another 45 minutes and I supposed to pick up my daughter so I was extremely late and with their incompetence and on timely manner I left I know the air tried but he still complain a lot and he’s a manager he was tell me that he couldn’t help others because he’s helping me I’m not sure about customer service and how that supposed to be I tried to call Kimmy that’s the manager of the store she was not in so I am going to put this on Unilocal and let you guys know that the customer service as management was very poor and that I found two more mistakes on my bill. I will have to come over again and drive to show what was wrong that is why I put this as a I would have been 0 because it was done very poorly

It’s better than your average Target when it comes to size, aesthetic, and organizational inventory. I still love the fact that Target has come out with its own discounted brands for cleaning products and medicines.
However if you’re going to buy produce, make sure you double visually inspect what you put in your cart.
A basket of strawberries had a fuzzy strawberry in the middle and then a bag of kale was set to beat used within two days from the time I bought it tonight. Next time I won’t be so quick to grab produce from shelf-​to-​cart.

I shop at many different Targets but the Spectrum Target checkout has got to be the most chaotic this Christmas season. It was a busy day at the store, I understand that, I and several hundred other people were shopping on December 23. The lines were terrible and unorganized. I was on my own to find a line and it was super inefficient. It took forever and I was very crabby by the end.
They need to take some lessons from the Tustin Jamboree store. This Target had a VERY long line (a few days earlier), however, it was VERY organized. They had snaked the line purposely through the beauty section and had staff and signs guiding me. The staff was all smiles and guided me to the end of the line and to the fastest check out line. They also had the self checkout open and had the MANNED by employees to make them super fast!
Target Spectrum was an unpleasant experience — while Target Tustin was great!

The rudest store manager I’ve ever encountered. He spoke over me as I was expressing my concerns with my purchase. Brian is a complete jerk. What happened to customer service???

Staff is always great here! I actually came here twice in one week to get my wife an anniversary gift and had the same cashier. I believe his name was Aaron, blonde, longish hair (couldn’t find his name on my receipt). I gotta say what a great job this guy did. Very friendly with his guests! Not only did I experience it but I noticed him engaging with the guest before me! It seems corny, but it REALLY is employees like this that make a shopping experience that much better! Thanks for being rad twice dude. Can’t wait to stop on by again!

Nice location. Looks very clean. The selection was really low on shoes and certain things. It’s a Target. I liked the grocery section. Not used to seeing that.

Target Pharmacy at the Irvine Spectrum is my favorite pharmacy.
The pharmacists and pharmacy employees are wonderful. You can tell they truly love their jobs.
I have never had an issue with my prescriptions not being ready when I come in to get them. When my dr would fax the script to them I could leave the office, drive to the store and it would be ready.
The only downside is the hours. They close at 7: PM during the week & 5: PM on the weekends.

One of my favorite Targets. Plenty of parking outside. Easy access from either the 405 or the 5 freeway. Aisles are clean, well organized, and well stocked. I like that Target has become what Gemco used to be back in the day. You can buy just about anything and everything. It’s an all in one place that sells clothing, electronics, kitchen appliances, and groceries! The lighting for their refrigerated aisles don’t even light up until there’s people in the aisle!

Very bad experience at this location recently where 2 employees named Megan and Kerry Ann were working, and since I was using Internet Printable coupons they considered it fraud; they both mentioned the word «photocopies» to me multiple times. The first time ever that I’ve been treated this poorly. I occasionally shop here and typically when I do the employees are great. However, it was amazing to experience how poorly educated these 2 were in regards to Target’s own coupon policy. It was so bad that I had to pull it up on my phone and educate Megan (asked her to read Target’s website) on what the policy was; she made 2 different statements that were incorrect per Target’s own policy which is available online.
Target Spectrum, guess it could be fine if you’re not using any coupons at all. However if you do plan to save using coupons, plan on avoiding Kerry Ann and Megan.

Holy cow, the most unorganized and poorly managed Target ever. They offer deals on products, none of which came up when I purchased. Then the rookie cashier, which to fault of her own didn’t know how to fix the issue, but then she proceeded to tell me nothing could be done. BS. So I had show her the picture, then she remembered how to do the gift card. Then another freaking hot mess with buying four Starbucks K-​cups, that was supposed to generate a Starbucks card, they had me close out the the purchase. Then brought the card up which needed to be activated during the damn purchase!!!
So I now I have to spend my time voiding and re doing the purchase after finding someone that knew how. However she didn’t check the register for tape so I had no verification of the void for a $ 170 purchase. Then a whole new mess trying to find anyone that had access to room to print it out. Nightmare of incompetence! Fail!

The layout of this store is very strange, one of the entrances is through the «can aisle». If you park in that area you have to pay all the way to the other end of the store and go back to that area. Not easy to get around and often they don’t have items you are looking for. There are better Targets in the area that provide good service and a better variety of merchandise.

This is one of the better Target stores. It is larger than your typical Target store and it has customer entrances located at both the front and rear of the store.
This store is located on the south end of the Irvine Spectrum shopping center.
The parking lot is VERY large and there is even a multilevel parking structure that you can use access from pretty much any direction.
There are a lot of cashier stations, therefore the lines doesn’t usually get long.

I generally like target stores. But this one was in such disarray and absolutely horrible customer service.
I understand it is the holiday season but to have shelves not even dusted and also not stocked and carts everywhere… It looked so sloppy and like no one was even caring about the appearance of any of the product or merchandise. I did run into one employee who seem to be genuinely interested in what I was trying to find but she offered no solution simply pointed to me and said… it’s over there.
Again I understand it’s a Christmas rush… But… it’s over there… Doesn’t really help me much.

This location is the closest one to where we live and is on the back side of Spectrum. It’s laid out differently from a lot of other locations, but it’s easy enough to find what you are looking for — but finding which way you came in, so you can go back out that way, was a bit tricky the first few times!
Staff here is always friendly. On our first visit here the cashier found out we had just moved to the area, and welcomed us to California and told us about a few places to go /​eat.
Grocery section is a bit lacking on some of the things we enjoy (the meat section and fruit sections especially so), but it’s great for a quick stop off for essentials.

Has pretty standard offerings for the chain, staff is very friendly, grocery section is somewhat lacking, but it’s a decent location for sure!

This target seems to be larger and less crowded than most Targets in Irvine.
There are 2 entrances here: a main one, and one that goes into the shopping center.
Despite always having items in stock, the location here is quite inconvenient. It is at the way back of the shopping center. So unless you’re parked in front of tTarget, you’re gonna have to walk here. It’s not a totally LONG walk, but if you’re parked near the movie theater, it’ll probably take you 10 – 15 minutes to get here.
There’s also a Starbucks here out by the registers, if you’re craving coffee.

I enjoy coming to this Target because the store is very large and has a huge selection of goods. You can almost always find what you are looking for at anytime of the year. The only problem i have is that it is located in the back of the mall and is a long distance to walk unless you park near Target.

Wow it certainly has been a LONG time since I was last at Irvine Spectrum because I do not recall this Target store being here the last time I was here (6+ years ago… I no longer live near the OC, thus my frequent trips to the Spectrum has came to halt).
Anyways, this Target is towards the end of my part of the Spectrum and it is a big Target that is pretty clean and filled with your standard items you would find in any other Target. I really love Target in general, especially the dollar spot and the clearance section in every department.
Love the cart wipes by both entrances of the store as well.
Overall, another awesome Target (love the consistency this store generates in all of their stores).

My love for Target is unlike anything else so it’s great to have one close to work even though it’s in the Irvine Spectrum and not that easy to get to. Boo.
I recently switched my cat to the Breeze system — something I should have done a long time ago but alas you live and you learn. Breeze is probably the best litter system out there and clean up is well, a breeze lol. I was looking for something to store all the litter in between clean up since I can’t flush it anymore so I found a great deal on the litter genie here. Woohoo.
Target always has things on clearance and you can get some great deals if you know how to shop and look for it. It can be a bit of a hassle during lunch and especially on Fridays but this Target is HUGE and has a great selection of stuff. Plus it’s always clean.

This is my favorite Target location, hands down.
The store is conveniently located where the 5 and 405 meet in Irvine, inside the Spectrum. I am in this Target at least 3 times a week! Unlike other Target locations, where it is usually inside a strip mall, this is inside the Spectrum with plenty of parking. Just don’t park by the H&M or Nordstroms, but towards facing the 405 and 5 intersect so you don’t have to lug all your bags into the store again.
It has a big frozen section, and a small produce section (it’s not as big as the one inside Wal-​mart down the street on Alton), a wider variety items than the other locations, and it is a lot neater too.
Use the Target Red Card for an additonal 5% savings at checkout. At first I was skeptical because every person that rang me up asked if I was «using your Red Card today?», but I was glad when I signed up because it’s totally free, no credit check, and it is directly linked to your checking account. You use a pin # when you use the Red Card.
Combine that with the free Cartwheel app for even more savings! I have saved a TON of money using this app! I just purchased a swimsuit today on sale for $ 20, regular $ 29.99. With the 15% offer that was in the Cartwheel app saved me an additional $ 3, THEN I used my Red card for another 5% off my total purchase. So I paid about $ 16.50 for a $ 29.99 swimsuit. People without the Red Card and Cartwheel app would have paid the sale price of $ 20 + tax! Wow!
