Asked about the tour or tasting… They said NO and NO. :(

Really mediocre food/try Del taco, much better food! Burritos bland, tacos so/so. Hard to believe they are national chain. When family members from New York were out recently, they loved Del Taco even though they won’t eat at Taco Bell in NY.

They don’t do public tours! What a disappointment :(also, I think you have to be invited to taste test. And lastly, they couldn’t complete my crunchwrap supreme order. It clearly says taco bell on the outside!

Very disappointed with my order. They forgot some of my food and the food tasted old.

I called the IRVINE corporate office this afternoon to inquire about some salary information, according to an admin assistant job that was posted on website. I must say, for a major company’s corporate office, I was really disappointed. There are so many options to choose from the main line and numbers to press, and it took some time just to talk to someone. I finally spoke to someone in Payroll who transferred me back to the main options. I finally got to choose the Benefits option and spoke with someone there and he informed me that he could not transfer me to anyone. I was very disappointed in the customer service over the phone, given this is corporate office. I eventually called another phone #, spoke with another employee from the main«949» number, asked for a supervisor or manager, and he said no, and that my best bet to get salary information would be to go to Just disappointed. I currently work for LA County Sheriff’s Personnel Administration … I am not surprised about the service I received, not to also mention that I studied Hospitality Management in college. I will not apply for this company and it was not worth leaving my County job. All I was asking was for some basic information but I cannot expect to get great customer service … what a disappointment. I wish I can give more stars for this review but was disappointed.

The corporate building is really nice. From the outside, it’s all grey, but once you walk in, the staff is warm and inviting. There’s lights, colorful furniture and lots of couches. And I kept hearing music being played from somewhere. I went here today for the taste testing and got the 25 $; and it was pretty great. I was in and out within the hour and drove home. And the building is fairly easy to find. On top of that, there’s a huge parking structure next to the building that’s free, so no hassle there. One complaint: what happened to the raffle? I wanted a chance at an extra 25 $! Pretty cool opportunity, especially for Unilocalers. :3

I wish people would know what they are doing to their health when eating such bad food. The taste is not helping either.

Love coming here for taste testing! 30 minutes of your time for $ 25? I think MOST people would enjoy it. This corporate office is nice and the staff are always so friendly. You sign up for the time slot you want, get contacted by text/phone. Sign in, read some instructions and then someone will take you and other people upstairs for the taste testing. Usually consists of trying the product, giving your feedback/comments and then going back downstairs for $ 25 in cash. Easy as 1−2−3!

This place is amazing! I wouldn’t expect Taco Bells corporate office to be this nice. I was brought here by applying for a test taste for a new product. For thirty minutes of my time, I get to eat and get paid $ 25 cash?! Sign me up Scotty! Everything was smooth sailing from parking to entry. There were signs that pointed to where the focus group was. After checking in, I entered the waiting room. On the table was a piece if paper with instructions and tips on how one should go about the taste test. After about 5 minutes we were gathered(10 of us) and asked to follow the Taco Bell employee to the 2nd floor. We entered a narrow room with test stations that were separated by melamine dividers. At each station, there was a touchscreen computer, keyboard, napkins, unsalted crackers and a cup of water. The latter two items were to «clean your palate» before eating. Also there was a camera there so I made sure to give em a show! The employee announced that because this was a new product, the prep time was still being fine tuned. The average was 5 minutes and that’s about how long it took. The first food item was good. I’m not going to talk about what it was but it was good. The second, not so much. It was similar to product A but had unnecessary ingredients. I was also asked questions about texture, was it appealing to the eye, was the price right, etc. Once all of us were finished, we were taken as a group back to where we checked in and received out $ 25 cash and signed out. Overall it was a great experience and I was happy to take part of it.

This is a really nice Corporate Office, I love the water feature out front, it’s on the ground so don’t look for anything extravagant! Employees were really nice. I came in for a survey panel on the Mexican Pizza’s From what I saw they def treat their employees well in this office, nice tv’s through out, I got a chance to peek into a «conference/Work room» it was loaded with snacks, coffee, tea. I mean real snacks, full size candy bar’s n shit, gourmet coffee/tea maker, you know all that fancy stuff(We have stuff like that at Kia too, minus all the tv’s, we have cars instead)

Remember that movie with Wesley Snipes and Sylvester Stallone? Demolition Man? All the restaurants were Taco Bell in the futuristic storyline. Now I laughed when I first saw that part of the movie. However, after visiting TBHQ and dining in their fabulous facilities, I won’t mind them winning the future corporate food war to become the sole restaurant chain. The dining area is very clean and new and modern. TVs to watch. A game room with a pool table, basketball, and other games(presumably those are for the employees). Ordering your food is just like at a Taco Bell but their menu seems more extensive and they also have a separate order line for other typical cafeteria foods. After all, this is their corporate dining area. It just also happens to be open to the public. Anyway, customer service was impeccable and the food tasted great! But what«set it off» for me was the clean beautiful bathrooms. You can only wish every Taco Bell bathroom looked like this. I wish I had extra arms so I could give this place 4 thumbs up! …Maybe in the future.

I wanted to commend this fast food icon after visiting its corporate headquarters to participate in a taste test. First let me say that their headquarters in Irvine employ a lot of people in all sorts of interesting jobs. The fact that they care so much about what they are serving their customers makes me enjoy their food that much more!
