Great website options at a very reasonable price!!! They have a ton of unique templates to choose from, and their customer service is excellent. I requested a custom feature to be added, and it was done less than 24 hours after my request. I would highly recommend them!

We love or site and all of the options available! I’m shocked to see the negative reviews below. Our experience has been nothing but positive. I’ve called and emailed customer service so many times and they’ve always responded quickly with a solution. The reps are so nice and very professional. They always seem happy to help. I really like and recommend Superlative!

Superlative has been AMAZING! As a Real Estate Broker, specializing in Luxury homes and Commercial properties, I needed a truly managed service that had a clean and high-​end look. I have gotten that and so much more from Superlative! They are extremely responsive and reliable. I decided to write a review on Superlative and my first thought was to see what others had to say. I almost went into shock when I read some of the negative views on Unilocal.I didn’t know if we were talking the same company or if their competitors were posting all the negative comments. I don’t even know where to start — other than giving them 5 stars.
First — folks — you are REALTORS — you know what a CONTRACT is — the contract when you sign up is for a year. They charge a small amount per month and they have costs setting up your account, loading your information, etc… if you bail early, you expect them to eat the cost and you walk away free? Again — this is a contract — if you don’t do your due diligence first and make an informed decision before ordering — you are out of luck. If you do not read their terms — shame on you. You are a Realtor — you do read contracts — right? Here is one guys complaint «They refuse to let people back out of their „contract“.» It is a CONTRACT — duh! Whew — had to get that out there!
OK — now, what are you getting when you sign up… you are getting a large number of design choices, color options, easy change options, sites that work on all types of equipment (that is HUGE folks) and a customer support staff that is AMAZING. You are also getting updates and more resources. I am with Superlative 6 or 7 years now and have a site that rivals — nah, make that tops custom sites that I have seen. And I compare to sites that folks have paid in the tens of thousands of dollars for.
Human nature is to complain when we are not happy about something and doing nothing when we are content. I wish more of us contented folk would post some reviews here and let Superlative know that they are a very big part of our business. To those of you who complain that their sites are too difficult — may I ask, what is your level of technical skills? What other sites have you found to be less of an issue — and why? And I challenge you to find another company with a support staff as good as here. Perhaps if you are technically challenged, you should hire someone and let them deal with the customization of your site.
I manage 3 Superlative sites besides my own — ALL 3 Realtors are very happy with their sites. As for me, I have no problem customizing as needed and when I get in trouble I call Superlative support and they rescue me in MINUTES. AND — to be clear — Superlative pays me nothing nor gives me a commission for bringing in additional clients — clients pay me to help them — I am not a reseller. (Actually, they offer a free month if you bring in a client — anyone can get that) The label I chose for what I do is «Site Manager» and that is my role for the 3 I have agreed to take on.
When I decided to write this, I was not going to put in a link to my site — because it is not about me. After thinking it through, I have to share my link so you know I am for real. Given that, I am going to turn it up a notch and say you can CALL me if you want and I will gladly share my experience here. People already have! So, check it out now

It is disappointing to read the negative reviews from the experience of other customers of Superlative. All I can say is that Superlative has been superlative with everything that I have received from them in all regards from the first moment I began working with them. They have exceeded my expectations in all regards including when I have requested an update or add on to my existing website that went up smoothly, without a hitch, and better than expected. I have yet to encounter the need to contact customer service with any issues of any kind, so, I cannot speak directly to that experience. My experience has been that when I reach out for a request I get an immediate response that fulfills that request and I could not be more impressed or satisfied with every experience that I have had with this company. I highly recommend them here on Unilocal and anywhere when someone is looking for website support. My main contact with the company is Savannah Segal and she has been amazing! Thanks Savannah!

I was promised a amazing website for $ 50 per month and all I got was a website that was barely editable and didn’t make sense at all.
I called customer service and spoke with this guy named Mike. He was useless and kept telling me that I have a contract with them for 12 months.
I have not seen a company this unprofessional in my life.
Beware…stay away.

Worst company ever. I never heard of company renewing your contract for an entire year if they don’t hear from. Website is ok but service is horrible. RUUUUN!!!

Everything negative I have read here I have experienced myself. EVERYTHING! I cancelled my service with them in May 2014 and they told me that I still have to pay them until the end of the «contract» in 2015 even though I no longer have a website with them. In the same email, I specifically wrote that they no longer had authorization to charge my credit card. They completely ignored my instructions and attempted to run the charge every month. Every month, my credit card company had to reverse the charge. This past month, American Express blocked Superlative completely from my account. Now, they are threatening to take me to collections.
So sorry that when their reps came to our real estate office to peddle their wares, I was a sucker and signed up. They were NEVER available for assistance or support. For 3 years, the website was basically useless. Too slick for me!!! Don’t get conned by this company. So many better options out there with ethical business practices.

Non professional company. There is no value in the product and the response time for the employees in horrible. I would definitely reccommend not wasting your time and hard earned money. If you decide you don’t like the sub par service and site they provide with no guidance and support, they will not let you cancel…
What they show you on the website is not what you get after you fork over your money.

I emailed twice on two separate occasions about website prices… and they NEVER RESPONDED. Lack of professionalism on their part.

I read through many of the reviews, and was surprised to see some of the negative reviews about people having to work on their own websites. SERIOUSLY, people expect someone else to fully optimize the site and provide content, all for $ 29 a month??? I’ve done quite a bit of business off of my website (
). Due to changes in Google (hummingbird), the way they «crawl» the web has changed. This is through no fault of Superlative. I work on my site periodically and add content, pictures, listings, etc. I have been happy with Superlative.

All of the negative comments I have read apply to Superlative and then some with my review. From the get go with this company it was them trying to fix mistakes, granted they gave credits after I spent hours and hours of my precious time on their issues.
If you want to spend lots of time on fixes and do all the work on your website, why do you need Superlative?
One thing about Superlative, they are consistent from their billing department to their contract to their lack of customer service to their rigid business practices all are consistently lousy.
What’s also interesting is Superlative encouraged me with exact dialogue to move from another company that graciously accepted my leaving vs. Superlative doesn’t care if someone is unhappy with Superlative.
This is the first review I have ever taken the time to write but if I can help others avoid Superlative, it is time well spent.

The only thing good about this company is their pricing. They are very difficult to work with and treat customers as if they are doing them a favor by being their web-​site provider. The web-​site does take a lot of time and effort to get it to be decent. Their billing practices are very deceptive and makes it obvious that their real intent is NOT to make sure that you are a happy customer but to make sure they are able to bill you each and every month. I recently have moved companies and tried to change my site to reflect the new logo, pic, etc and a week after I made the changes in the back end of the site, they still do not appear on the front end. I contacted support via chat and the first thing they told me was that they couldn’t help me because I needed to contact the billing department to update my credit card information. I have been with them for over 2 years and had 2 web-​sites with them with no problems paying for them but as soon as there is an issue with them billing you, they can’t help you? I recently changes banks and have not updated my account info with them but I was going to since I am under contract for a few more months. Just shows you what their priorities are. Stay away from this company, I’m sure there are better out there who actually value their customers.

I have been a client with this company for 4 years and constantly recommend their services to other colleagues. I have talked with their customer service department many times and found them to be incredibly helpful, in fact, they seem to be eager to help in anyway they can. Superlative has also upgraded my site over the years free of charge whenever they have released a new updates. This keeps my website up to date without me having to think about it. I frequently have clients and other realtors complement my beautiful website… they think I have spent much more money than I have! The fact that my clients and potential clients can search for homes right on my own website via Superlative’s access to MLS data is invaluable to my business. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

As a former Superlative customer, I agree with negative feedback. This company cares about one thing. HAVING YOU SIGN A LONG CONTRACT, AND NOTHING ELSE. Very deceptive renewal terms indeed and they will claim to loose emailed and faxed in requests to stop accounts. KEEP TRACK OF YOURS! Their sorry excuse for a customer service department turns nasty and flippant after you sign.

I agree with the negative reviews. Deceptive Contract terms. No reminders of upcoming renewal dates. Absolutely ridiculous billing practices! Unbelievable!!!

Let me start by saying READ THE FINE PRINT BEFORE SIGNING UP WITH THIS COMPANY! I signed up with Superlative in 2009 and never heard from them again — unless I contacted support. They DO set up easy auto-​bill. However, there are no reminders of your contractual renewal on your anniversary date. I think it is poor business practice to renew someone’s contract without EVER asking for another signature OR AT LEAST SENDING A COURTESY EMAIL reminding you of the policy. I recently switched to a company that is providing a great-​looking website at no cost to me. I contacted Superlative to cancel my website. They canceled it, BUT now I am stuck paying $ 29.95 a month for the next 10 MONTHS… for nothing. I contacted Accounts Administration for help and asked to pursue the issue further — here is the response, «There isn’t anyone else to speak with. Superlative states the terms and conditions on your form clearly for you and every client adheres to those conditions. At this point you are flagged to cancel for March 2013. It is up to you if you redirect your domain name away from the site. The domain is a completely separate service from us.»
The presentation from the company’s rep was great and appealing. They do HELP create a great-​looking website. However, I spent numerous hours personalizing, re-​writing, and re-​positioning pages to get it looking up to my standards. They will add your area information in the system to generate a standard webpage, but I sure thought it sounded robotic and repetitive (maybe because a family member looked at it and said that it didn’t sound like my words at all).
The final word… Superlative will give you a good template to work with, but be prepared to spend A LOT of time working on it to get it right. Take note of your sign up date, because you CAN NOT cancel until your anniversary. Finally, you’re paying for a template, not for proactive customer service or for someone to manage your website. Superlative simply gives you the steak — you have to cook it yourself. Buy at your own risk.

This is a terrible company to do business with. If you like, know how to and have the time to build your own website then this may be for you. But if you are looking for a professionally built site that works seamlessly to help build your business while you conduct your business & not sit at a keyboard frustrated, then stay away from them. The thing is they will show you great websites that look nice and seem to work well, they just don’t tell you that it takes many hours, days, of your time to set up and manage.
I needed a website & they seemed like the solution, but due to technical issues they were never able to get the site up and running. After four months I went with another company & asked that the account be cancelled. They refused, insisting that I continue to pay them for the remaining 8 months on a site that was not even live & would not ever be seen by a single customer. They insisted that their technical support could fix the problems but I was unwilling to continue with them as I went with another vendor.
I was amazed that they believe that they can continue to charge you on an item that they could never make work. I was not even asking for a refund, just a cancellation of the contract.
I would not recommend this company.

The billing practice at this company is absolutely horrible. You must sign a one0year contract with this company. If you do not cancel on the last day of your contract, they automatically renew it for one year instead of switching you to a month-​to-​month plan. If you try and cancel they tell you to read the fine print of the contract that states that you will always be locked into a one-​year contract unless you cancel on the day your contract terminates. This means you only have one opportunity per year to cancel your contract or you will get locked into another year. After being with superlative for 19 months, I argues for a long time on the phone with the rep. They still refuse to cancel my account and tell me that my only option is to wait until the last day of my contract and call on this day to cancel. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!
