Description

Specialties

The Stepparent Adoption Center is the «we do it all for you» option, offering a flat fee of only $ 1,500 for most uncontested stepparent adoptions. This includes all legal services by staff adoption attorney, Randall Hicks, and even the court filing fee.

A 15 minute consultation with Randy is free (in person or by phone — your choice) to get to know Randy and ask questions. The $ 1,500 flat fee covers everything in most adoptions: preparing and filing the adoption petition in court, preparing the consents and other required legal documents, contacting the absent parent to encourage signing the consent, working with the court investigator in the stepparent investigation, and setting the final court hearing and appearing with you in court. About the only cost remaining for the client is the court’s stepparent investigation fee (Riverside $ 344; San Bernardino $ 700).

Randall has limited his law practice to adoption for 28 years and is a member of the highly respected American Academy of Adoption Attorneys. He is also the author of several popular adoption books, including Adopting in America: How To Adopt Within One Year and Adoption: The Essential Guide (although these books discuss infant, not stepparent, adoption).
