First time I’ve had a bad experience here! Mobile ordered and was given attitude when I asked for it! I get your busy but still should not have been given attitude! And I have never had to ask for my order before it’s always been waiting! So please don’t act like its my fault I waited! Be consistent and then the customers won’t be confused!

Open Late, Near UCI, like in their backyard, always busy, but I can usually find at least a seat or two, either inside or outside, aftetall this is SoCal & it doesn’t get that cold. Nice El Nino ~ really? Only one day of solid rain. I say«is that all you got?» Regardless, this place is pumping(litterally) ~ great place to hang out, sip some Java & work !!!

This starbucks never disappoints me. It’s always nice coming here to study even though it does get crowded due to the UCI students. I love this place and will come back again

Great hard working and smart staff. If you order smart, you can get in and out within three minutes, and most often less. Nice atmosphere, college feel. But staff here are good.

Slowest Starbucks ever. I still don’t get why u don’t have enough baristas to take orders and make drink during the peak hours.

Customer service is great! But the place is tiny and always crowded with people. I guess it’s normal since it’s just across the street from UCI. But just wish they have bigger space.

AMBIANCE: I have studied at this Starbucks a few times, and it’s alright for studying if you can find a table. It’s pretty busy and usually filled with anteaters… DRINKS: My drinks always turn out like I order them here, and that’s a good thing. :) SERVICE: I’m not sure how the turnover is for the staff at this location, but I’ve had some good interactions with some of the baristas. OVERALL: If you want your drink to turn out like you ordered it, go here – just don’t count on necessarily finding a seat.

I visit this location twice a week and I’m always impressed with the calm demeanor of the baristas despite how busy this store is. I’m so glad I was there tonight because I felt the feels tonight and it really made me realize that there are still some good people out there. I’m not going to go into a lot of detail but I forgot to order my coffee decaf, so the barista made it and that’s when I realized my mistake. I asked them if they could please make me a decaf and apologized profusely and they very nicely started preparing a decaf. Then the barista on the bar asked me if I wanted to give my original coffee to someone and I did and it made me feel so good to be able to hand someone else a cup of coffee that they were so incredibly grateful for. Thank you, Jose, for your thoughtfulness and kind, compassionate heart. And my coffee with extra caramel was perfection!

We frequent this Starbucks establishment and have found the customer service lacking in professionalism. Kiara,(the barista) was incredibly rude to us when we commented that our drinks were made incorrectly. We brought it to her attention and she rudely turned her back on us and acted as if the error was our fault. I swiftly asked Kiara if there was a problem to which she completely ignored me. There did not appear to be a competent manager on duty. Today I sit in another Starbucks because of the customer service we have received at your establishment.

First and foremost, I am visiting the Irvine location from Sacramento, Ca. This is my first time visiting on my own. I have to say that this location has an employee with Magnificent customer service skills name George. This Man is very considerate, thoughtful, and go beyond his job requirements to make sure the customers are comfortable. I have never received such genuine kindness from any Starbucks employee like him. In any location. He gives samples out, even to people sitting outside, he lowers the blinds for you before you even notice the glare from the sunset, and he asks you before doing so. He gladly puts caramel in your drink, and chocolate syrup, even for a drink you did not buy yourself. He is extremely kind, and enthusiastic. It is way too easy to say fabulous things about this individual. On the other hand they have an employee named mark, who is a racist asshole !! He chases after me for putting half-milk in my water cup, he hides the condiments when he is on clock. He yells at me in public, and is super arrogant, and ignorant. mark is a lazy show off, who likes more to promote at work his BMW by wearing his bmw hat than even to wear his starbucks uniform. Many times I wanted to cuss him out, yet I was polite. He has a strange, and awkward demeanor making you feel very uncomfortable in the shop. Whenever mark is working, I do not even enter through the front door. I just go around the patio to avoid his menacing look. George on the other-hand should be promoted to Manager !! Even right at this moment he is working hard by bending his knees, straitening his back, and stocking food in the showcases!!! If it wasn’t for the other guy, I would give this shop 5 stars !!

Gotta love coffee Came here with Dustin and Brutus. Counting the people here is just always so amazing. Dustin got the mocha chai latte and I got the pumpkin spice. Try were Both delicious. The only thing is there were so many people that it was crowded and our order took some time. The barista was very polite though and served us with a smile. Thanks Jessica ! This is what I truly want in a coffee place. Innocence lost about coffee :)

I’ve been coming here on a regular basis for 3 years out of convenience. The space was recently renovated this past December/January. It’s definitely a positive change because the updated bar area is more sleek. The new warm tones make it seem more welcoming which I like. As for service, it’s always been the same. Baristas are hit or miss– but you can’t really blame them with the the influx of obnoxious UCI students demanding their complicated orders. Trying to study here is difficult because it’s hard to find a spot but the communal tables are a good place to camp out with some coffee and get some work done. All their drinks are pretty generic but I’m always up for iced black tea with strawberry or their seasonal caramel brûlée latte. #Basic but whatever… obviously this is not the place to go for a superior latte with coffee art but this Starbucks still gets 4 stars for consistency.

This Starbucks just renovated in late December 2014 and it looks so much better than it used to that I figured it should have an updated review and rating. The interior has a much more modern and clean look to it, with much less clutter at the entrance. Now, when you walk in, you are not bombarded with heaps of merchandise. The space just looks a lot cleaner than before. I really like how it all turned out.

This is just like any other STBKS. You’ve got the people who are serious baristas and take time to make sure that their customers love their drinks(which is what starbucks aims to do!). Then, you’ve got the ones who halfass your drinks just so the line/crowd of people waiting for the drinks goes down. This place was my home when I went to high school. That says a lot… essentially, this place is constantly filled with people studying and working. Can’t find anywhere to sit, chill, or read a food. Don’t even bother asking someone to grab a coffee here cuz the whole place will hear your conversation. Restroom is nasty. Takeaway: this place is really a library. Won’t be able to find seats easily here. Not a good place to socialize or chill.

I really like this Starbucks. It’s down the street from where I live, and I come here often to for late night study sessions. There’s plenty of seats and outlets, but it gets really crowded. I like that it’s very lively. I enjoy seeing other students and people studying for their midterms/finals/MCATs/GREs. Plus, the employees here are very nice people. The cons: internet is so freaking slow. Kind of also a con because it forces me off FB. There’s also only ONE bathroom, and caffeine kind of increases urinary output. And there’s this girl with a large basket filled with what looks like clothes. She sometimes yells out in Korean to no one in particular and speaks rudely to those around her in a paranoid tone. Besides all that, it’s still a great place. I’m moving farther away from this Starbucks next year, but I think I’ll still go here for my Chai tea lattes.

Quick and easy Starbucks close to the UCI campus. Maybe it’s me, but I think the coffee tastes better here than at the Starbucks at UCI. Also at this place, they actually have the other roasts(dark, pike, light) already set or brewing so you can actually get the coffee that you want. I came here in the morning before heading over to UCI and the place had a few people already inside. There is a long communal table in the middle and there are small tables around the sides. The coffee tasted better to me. Got this blonde roast this time and the barista got it immediately. Stayed for a bit to get some stuff done and end up getting a refill before I left. If you have the time, come over to this Starbucks over the one on campus. The mood is more chill, the ambiance is more like other Starbucks and you can kind of get away from the all the students(kind of)

I actually really like this Starbucks location. The workers here are always so friendly and smiley. Even when they have their promotions like during their annual buy one get one free holiday drinks deal when the line goes out the door and its super busy and crowded the baristas/cashiers are still really welcoming and cheery. I always leave this Starbucks in a good mood. As for the coffee, well, Starbucks tastes like Starbucks. There’s really nothing more to say than that. Compared to the UCI campus location drinks are definitely better quality(probably because the student workers at the UCI location don’t care to make quality drinks — it always tastes so watered down over there) and I prefer walking a little farther to get something here than over on campus. This location is always crowded with students studying and using the wifi so don’t expect to find a place to sit down and enjoy your coffee right there. It’s also rather small(compared to the Starbucks on campus). Overall I prefer the drinks they make here, but I like the size and set up of the Starbucks on campus more(so buy your drink here, then bring it to the campus Starbucks to drink it LOL). My go-to drink is always the green tea frap with whipped cream! :)
