Our family has been seeing Dr Soliman since 2006. I was referred by a friend after the 2nd grade teacher suggested I get some help for my son who was struggling. Dr Soliman really cares, is gentle and supportive. Now my son is getting ready to start UC Davis and has 9 Advanced Placement credits. Dr Soliman has worked well with my kids as they’ve grown up through all ages… I believe the early intervention with my son in 2nd grade made a big impact on where he is today — my son hasn’t even taken medication for years — getting on the right path w/good habits at an early age made it possible.

My son had seen a series of psychiatrists to help him overcome mood swings, out of control fears, anxieties and the inability to focus(the dreaded ADHD). When we came to Dr Soliman my son was on lithium and four other medications. In the course of six months we finally got the right diagnostic(it was OCD, not Bi Polar, that was driving behaviors), and we were smoothly transitioned to the correct medicines. My kid went from total hell to success at school and a liveable family situation at home. My observation on psychiatrists is that they generally fall into three categories: 1. Utterly incompetent. 2. Competent, but unable to provide the time to properly diagnose a client. These are almost always what you get from your insurance carrier. 3. Competent and able to give the time and focus to make a difference. Dr Soliman falls into the 3rd category. He saved my son from years of unnecessary pain and has given us hope for the future.

Had a bad experience and would not recommend this doctor to any of my friends.
