In 2014 we extensively remodeled our home and purchased $ 70,000 of windows and doors from Sierra Pacific Windows. It has become very clear early on this Company does not stand behind its products. The salesman at the Irvine Showroom Duane Waltmire was helpful at first and eager to accept payment. Once we had paid and discovered minor issues with the product and requested his assistance his tone become cool and his willingness to help us was non-existent. The maintenance division of the company has also been quite disappointing. We purchased dozens of casement windows which suffer constant mechanical issues. The locking pins move out of alignment with just ordinary use and as a result the windows cannot be fully or securly closed. It has been our experience that once«repaired» the alignment becomes faulty again with in a matter of weeks. We have had three service calls since the 2014 installation. On the third call the company informed us we will be charged $ 200 for all future calls. Our last service was just three weeks ago and one of the windows has already malfunctioned again. Since I cannot secure my home when the windows can’t be locked I am considering pulling out and replacing some of the windows. My impression is this is a below industry standard product. It was a bit cheaper than other premium brands. In trying to save a bit of money I have created a long lasting headache and security issue for myself and my family. I would urge anyone who considers buying Sierra Pacific Windows to carefully review the warrantee and enter the contact with your eyes open. Were I able to start over I would have bought a different product from a company which is more committed to its customers.

Terrible company. Constant delays, mistakes and unsatisfactory. Poor dispute resolution. Essentially screwed up the order after measuring twice which caused a several month delay as well. Then my wife and I decided we had enough. I finally cancelled and they took me to small claims court. Even after I volunteered to forego my significant deposit. Jim, Newport Coast, CA

As a general contractor working with sierra pacific windows you can be sure quality and professionalism are a sure thing from start to finish, building log homes in big bear lake can be a challenge at best, using quality windows is key to a air tight home, Walt and the guys at SPW deliver the best and stand by their stuff. The options and quality really top the compitition and deliver the best bang for thr buck. Brad Lindley Construction Lindley Log Homes

I used their windows and doors in a new home built in 2003. Nearly all of the windows have failed. Fog, moisture, streaking. When I call they try to blame it on me. All I do is clean them with a paper towel and clear water. They replaced some glass a few years ago, and now even some of those have failed. Big mistake on my part for using these windows. When they do replace the glass, it’s on me to patch the nail holes and touch up the paint. And now I need to do it again. I’m going to attempt to have them replace more of the glass, but it just seems futile. Very poor quality product. I would recommend Pozzi, Pella, Marvin, or Anderson.

Absolutely terrible service! Windows that won’t close… slider doors with moister on inside of glass panes… screens that don’t fit. Slow service and terrible warranty. And I’m stuck with over 90 of their doors and windows in my home!
