Shred Connect

My husband saw this company around the corner from us so we called them to shred 8 boxes. Very reasonable price quoted by Annette over the phone. When Jason showed up this morning to shred, I couldn’t believe how fast they did it. In less than 5 minutes, all the files were gone. You don’t need to separate papers or files – all of it went in there. All that was left was the boxes! We are absolutely thrilled. Highly recommended.

Hired them to do our company shredding in Newport Beach. At first, great, friendly service. Turned into quite the opposite. Had to call and text MANY times asking them to please come shred and was told every time that they would come as soon as possible, only to never show or even call or text to say they wouldn’t be able to make it. The person I dealt with was named Jason. This happened for quite some time before I finally searched for a new shredding service, only to call several different companies & find that they are all the same, just different names. Why have so many different names for one company??? Is it possibly because of negative reviews? I don’t know. I do know that I hardly ever go on Unilocal,so if I do, it’s for good reason. A couple of the other names they go under are «Newport Beach Shredding Services» & «Costa Mesa Shredding Services».

Great family owned company! Called and asked for shredding service at our office and Brendan responded immediately. Our shredding was completed within 2 hours of my call and he is a very personable and efficient guy

Called them around 12:30pm. Luckily they were in the area and were able to have documents shredded by 2PM for my physical therapy company. Very fast, easy, straightforward process. Thanks! Highly recommend.

Had an awesome experience with Shred Connect!!! Jason showed up on time, collected my «stuff» and the destruction began! I love having peace of mind that my confidential information is not being shared with anyone and that it is properly being destroyed. Jason is so quick and efficient and just «gets the job done!» He greeted me with a smile and made me feel confident about turning over my personal «paperwork» for destruction. This is an awesome company, I had an awesome experience and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is in need of document destruction or anyone not satisfied with their current service. Shred Connect started out working very well for us for the first two years we used them Very good service and reasonable rates. Then one day I speak with the owner, Anet, about a pickup and am told they are going to cancel our service because they are not charging enough for the bi-​monthly service we agreed to.
I said I understood, businesses need to make money, but asked why they also offer Quarterly service then. Anet replied that I could switch to quarterly service and my rate would go from $ 45 to $ 60 per pickup and I agreed. She sent over a new agreement for me to sign and I did so.
About 3 weeks later (today), she shows up unannounced, picks up our shred bin and leaves with it. No certificate of destruction, no explanation, no anything! STRANGE! Now I am out $ 60 for the bill I just paid her ten days ago and I have to look for another service.
I don’t know if she is having business troubles or just doesn’t like us but it is a very odd way to do business. I called asking for an explanation but just got her voicemail so I left her a message.
I guess business owners who don’t like certain reviews can rewrite history in their own minds if they see fit but facts are facts and this person does not know how to run a business in my opinion. Funny she placed the blame on us and forgot to mention that she called us back apologizing for HER mistake and asking us to come back as a customer.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS in my opinion. I went to Sergeant Shredder and have been happy and well taken care of there.

This is the second time i have used these guys. Called them up and they were at the house within 20 minutes. they were fast and efficient and let me watch the shredding on the monitor mounted in the truck. Rates are competitive. I would highly recommend this company for your shredding needs

Tried calling for 20 minutes and line was constantly busy. Drove to address listed. No Shred it business apparent. Disappointed. Needed to get a job done quickly for my business. Couldn’t connect with them at all.

We cleaned out some files at home and had about six boxes… Jason came to the house and within minutes I had watched the destruction of all our old papers. What nice people and great service, will definitely use them again!

Shred Connect gets an A+++ for customer service! Our office recently moved to due downsizing and we had many years of files and paperwork that was no longer needed. Great mobile shredding service! I had a large amount of documents to shred and called Shred Connect. The person who answered, Lynette, was very friendly and accommodating when I needed to reschedule. The young man who came to my home to do the job was punctual, totally professional and personable. He did the job efficiently and neatly at a reasonable price. The mobile shredding truck has a camera where the customer can see his/​her documents being shredded, for peace of mind.
