Ready To Rescue, Inc.

I used them several years ago and for whatever reason, am writing a review now. Probably because i’m coming up on a certification soon and had to relive the atrocity I call RTR. I saw two links for this place on Unilocal.I’m going to post on both because they are THAT BAD. First class I signed up for close to home, no one showed up. I received no email or telephone call for the update. Finally rescheduled for a class 20 miles away because they already had my money for the class.
The guy who taught it, I’m not kidding, went down the questions of the test, told us the answers, and said we were done. We were done in 10 minutes. That is a HUGE disservice to healthcare professionals. I don’t think anyone who took this course will save a life in any way. I take my job seriously and expect to learn something at these things. Basically you pay to show up and get a card… WHICH I DIDN’T GET that day! I had to call and harass him and he finally mailed it to me. Every place I have ever gone to give you your card after class. But, that would require one of the owner’s to actually show up.
In any case, google them, and you’ll easily complaints filed on them, BBB, BCA.

I pre-​paid for the class with Ready to Rescue on line. On the day of the class, I got a phone call from Ryan 30 minutes before class started– asking if I had signed up for the class and that he had to cancel due to low participation. He told me to e-​mail him during the weekend so that he can reschedule another class with me.
I e-​mailed him multiple times and he did not respond. I called the office and there would always be a recording and I left multiple messages –no one would call me back. I continued to e-​mail and call to leave messages for 3 weeks without any response.
I could’t even get a refund because it was impossible to reach anyone. I finally had to call pay pal to explain the situation and although I was not a pay pal costumer– they helped me get my money back for the class and the book, which ready to rescue never sent me.
Ready to Rescue is a horrible company. They are very unprofessional. Although I paid them in full– they canceled on me then did not respond to any of my messages or e-​mail. I could never get a live person on the phone.
Unfortunately, I did not look at the horrible Unilocal reviews before I signed up for the class at ready to rescue .
They are scam artist and should be reported to consumer affairs.

The class was disorganized and then I never got my card from them for completing it. When I tried to contact them by phone all I got was a busy signal, every time I called.

I paid for the class over a week ago asked for a specific date and was told I would get information. Ryan failed to email me when I told him I needed to have it by 4÷29÷14. I am now going to be suspended from work without pay and it doesn’t matter to him, he all of a sudden can’t provide a card, can’t provide the class, and no number to reach him at. Don’t worry the BBB will hear about this that I was ripped out of $ 55 dollars and the work suspension over $ 250 a day until I can get scheduled in. Even though I made plenty of attempts to get scheduled in. Luckily with the help of another nurse I was able to get another place to help get it last minute. My friend literally called all over the Orange County area and found me a place that a few other people recommended from work. Ryan said he’d give a full refund, you charged me 59 and gave $ 37 back. Telling someone you can’t give them the card at the last minute is unacceptable. I will never go here again and have decided to look at the other place recommended for some first aid training for my daughter.

Due to my poor experience with Ready to Rescue at the beginning of the month, I schedule a CPR class with SureFire CPR. I took it today and my whole experience with SureFire was just amazing! The staff and instructors were friendly. They made sure I was taking the correct class for what I needed. They allowed plenty of time for questions. I am completely amazed with them and would recommend anyone to use SureFire instead for all of their CPR needs.

Instructor signed me up for online portion of BLS for Healthcare Providers. I sent him my certificate of completion and he hasn’t replied back. It’s been 2 weeks. I spent about $ 60 on this and I don’t have a card to show for it

I have requested a refund for a cpr course for which i was not able to attend because of issues with the address I was provided with which was to take place in los angeles through ready to rescue. Hence my internship then provided me with an alternative for which Ryan Murillo has knowledge of. It has been over a month now and he has completely ignored my requests for a refund and does not return my calls. very unprofessional!

Very efficient and educational way to get your CPR certification! I really enjoyed my experience with Ready To Rescue, will definitely be going back and referring all my friends and family!!!

RTR is on the forefront of medical training and certification. Very knowledgable, fast and easy to use service. I highly recommend RTR and will be using them again.

Great way to do your CPR. Online was ideal for me and the instructor made himself available at a time that suited me. All went well. Received my card in a timely manner.
