Very clean and not overly crowded at lunch. I love that they include tofu in their choices of protein, along with chicken, beef, and shrimp. Lunch combinations are perfectly sized, and comprised of an entrée, a choice of white or brown rice, and either two fried wonton filled with cream cheese or a veggie egg roll. Of course there is also a fortune cookie included.
I highly recommend the kung pao tofu… it’s awesome!
There are outside tables in the open seating area (shared by the local restaurants).

It’s a Pick Up Stix in Quail Hill.
The staff here is nice. They have a fountain drink dispenser with standardized flavors and Fresca. The layout is very straightforward. One walks straight to get to the cashier and sits on the sides. They have two TVs here. One was playing CNN and the other was playing ESPN at the time.
The food was good. It came out quickly. The chairs were comfortable too.
One thing I didn’t see at this location was the plushies that other branches have for sale. I think they’re cute.

Hungry and not too many options to come by my fiancé and I thought we would give Pick Up Stix a try considering they had Gluten Free (GF) options that I require. I ordered the Grilled Bourbon Chicken and I reconfirmed with the staff working that it was GF considering that I have an allergy. First of all the chicken was too sweet and a short time later I was sick as can be with the worst stomach ache still hours after I had my meal. Clearly they do not know what GF means or they do not care about making their food gluten free. The staff was nice but if they cannot honor what they say then what is the point of paying for food only to get sick. In hind sight the fact that there was not a single person there should have been warning enough not to dine there.

The staff here is very friendly and the food is really good! I frequent this place once a week and the staff all know me by name and the different orders that I will make. The manager and the cooks are also very patient too. I’ve seen them calmly handle difficult customers and situations that would have left me screaming with a smile still on their faces.

I always go to the Alton Pick Up Stix location. I went to the Quail Hill location this time because it was closer to my house… The quality of food from the Alton location vs Quail Hill location vastly differs. I asked twice on the phone and once in person if my request of it being well done was honored… I was assured all three times it was… And it wasn’t. In addition to that I ordered six wontons… I ate only one after realizing that the wonton filling had the same texture of the middle of a loaf of bread. I’ve never had this experience from Pick Up Stix. Not to mention the place was empty… Which should have been a red flag from the beginning.
DO NOT GO TO THE QUAIL HILL LOCATION.

I got the Burboun Chicken easy sauce and fried rice. I think the food is good and most definitely fresh. There was not a single person inside kinda weird. The staff was really nice. I would only eat pick up sticks because at least it’s made in front of me and fresh. I only knocked off a star because it’s expensive! !! But what isn’t? I will be back :)

One star for customer service… very patient & nice staff members but the food not so great… we bought crispy chicken and honey chicken something with noodles & brown rice. Chicken was too sweet, rice was dry, & noodles were oily…$ 22 down the drain! Never coming back!

Had quite a nice experience today. The cashier explained a couple options & offered to bring me whatever I needed at my table on the patio, and was very sweet and accommodating. Food is like Panda Express, but better.

The customer service at this location is excellent. I love the House chicken and it is always perfect. It is also conveniently located close to work, so I can drop in for a quick bite before or afterworld.

Please check your order before you leave there. They must hate their job because it’s quite simple to not mess up orders all the time but they just don’t care. When you call to complain about it they act like you’re wrong for being upset about paying for something and not getting it. Just rude.

When Pick Up Stix first started they became known for two things:
1) Screwing up your order
2) Taking forever to screw up your order
This place seems to have overcome those obstacles.
Nice, friendly faces behind the register. The food comes out pretty quick considering they cook it (wok it?) when you order. The lunch size portions with an appy are good size meals for mid-​day. The food quality is good but not great. Its consistent and a decent value. On a nice day the patio seating is a great place to eat while you watch the Quail Hill denizens going about their days.

Good food for the price you pay. They do tend to put in a bit more veggies in all the entries compares to the amount of meat but everything tasted fresh. This place is near my office so it’s a good place to stop by and pick up lunch when you’re in a rush.
