Alex had a tough case. A very complicated financial situation, several investment properties, cash out and loan consolidation, two refis simultaneously, an error on the credit report, complicated title (different entities on title and loan), and loan signings in 2 different locations by various individuals. That’s just to name a few issues that have caused other lenders to fail miserably in the past. But NOT Alex. He sailed through all the challenges, while at the same time providing the best customer service experience that I have ever experienced. Oh, and did I mention that he was on the phone within 30 seconds of me submitting the Lendingtree request? You can imagine that we were dealing with a mountain of paperwork in my case — several times what a «straightforward» loan would have. Alex made sure that everything was in order and would go to bat with the banks with whatever challenges they would throw at us. «Pass the buck» is not in his vocabulary. Long story short, two very complicated loans were closed (a feat in and of itself), and with a rate that no other lender could match. Compare that with Alex’s competitor that asked that I upload all the supporting documentation (one document at a time) to their website.(Needless to say that was the last they heard from me). Or another lender that first passed the buck when an error on the credit report was discovered, and then cancelled the loan when he couldn’t see the error corrected on his side, even when I provided him with information that the error has been fixed. Would recommend Alex to anyone!

My experience with Alex throughout our VA refi was excellent. Whenever an unexpected requirement or inquiry came up from the lender, which almost always occurs, he was right there helping us get through it in the easiest way possible.
Alex possesses the rare combination of professionalism, efficiency, friendly service and was always exceedingly courteous. I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone contemplating any kind of loan situation. More importantly, when he says he will do something, he does it.

Alex Ortiz and his team are nothing but FIRST CLASS SERVICE! We have been trying to ReFi our home now for almost two years and we tried four other attempts. One with a Wells known, hint-​hint, big bank, and another who was not so Quik-​on there feet, hint-​hint, if you know what I mean! The other two were small firms, but not one could help.
When I filled out the form from Lending Tree online Alex called me about three seconds after I clicked «send» on the form. Right out of the gate I told him of my past experiences, but he said not too worry that he will «Get It Closed». At first I heard this from everyone else and I thought, «Oh boy, here we go again. Another paper pusher trying to keep his job by telling us we are gonna close when really I’m gonna waist three more months of sending over a ton of files and being told yes, yes, yes until the end and then, Sorry we can’t close your loan because… «, But I must tell you Alex MADE IT HAPPEN!
He was there every step of the way and was always available via email, phone and even text after hours late into the evening. HIs assistant Tina was alway available as well if he was in a meeting or dealing with another client.
It all went very smooth until the Lender starting beating us up towards the end over insignificant credit infractions, which were not even our fault, but when they did, Alex stood up for us and jumped in and spoke to the Lender directly or wrote them a letter explaining that we were good for this loan and they listened to him! Again, ALEX MADE IT HAPPEN AND WE CLOSED ON OUR 30-​YEAR LOAN WITH THE LOWEST RATE IN THE HISTORY OF MORTGAGE LOANS!!!
We highly recommend Pacific Financial, Alex and his team if you are looking to buy or refinance your home. I would not waste a second of time with anyone else.
