Orange County Compounding Pharmacy

My dog recently had surgery and is now on a medicine that my vet is unable to provide. They recommended that I find a compounding pharmacy to use to get this in the future but didn’t have anyone local to recommend so I searched on Unilocal.Orange County Compounding Pharmacy had great reviews and was close to me so I decided to go with them. After Tom received the order from my vet, he contacted me last night to discuss the best method of administering the medicine. I didn’t realize I had any choices. He was very professional and thorough and explained the choices along with the cost. If you’re in need of a compounding pharmacy, Tom and Orange County Compounding Pharmacy are the best! He even ships the medicines for free!

Dr. Tom Wang provided quick, efficient, & informative services. I researched several pharmacies before taking my son’s prescription to this pharmacy and have no regrets. My prescription was ready for pickup the next day and was packaged professionally with an information packet printed out explaining each medication. Tom also explained the medications in my compound verbally. I definitely recommend him for compounding needs.

I feel like pharmacists are far too often in a thankless position in healthcare, so I want to give credit when it’s due… I just got a SUPER thorough explanation from Tom of all 6 medications in my new compound ointment — how each one individually works in my body, AND side effects in oral AND topical form, as well as how often I should use it, how much I actually need to use, and how long this should actually last me vs what’s printed on the label. I was super impressed by this wealth of information, and felt more reassured and taken care of in this instance than I have in most doctors’ offices, so a big thank you to Tom who really cares and takes those extra minutes to explain pertinent information to patients!

Incredible service! Tom helped me get a prescription filled for transdermal tramadol for our dog. The price was extremely reasonable, the delivery was fast, and Tom provided EXCELLENT service. I highly recommend this pharmacy!

Tom was so helpful when we had a topical compounded formulation made for our son after an injury that involved nerve damage. Pain pills were not helping enough and we were eager to try other options. Tom made sure to follow through with us, and he really went the extra mile when we had a problem with delivery. He explained in careful detail how to apply the cream and that it would take several days to build up in the tissues to start helping. It has been a life saver for him. I have been to other compounding pharmacies on the west side of Los Angeles, when we lived there in years past for different compounded formulations, but I do feel that OCC Pharmacy and Tom Wang are superior. Glad to live in the OC now and know this pharmacy is there for us.

A friend referred me to OCC pharmacy and Tom Wang Pharmacist contaced me right away for my scar cream. I had bunion surgery in December and the cream that was recommended has been really helping my scar. The cream was sent in a timely manner once approved through my insurance. He definitely exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond to help me get the medication I was looking for. I highly recommend this place.

I found the OC Compounding Pharmacy on Unilocal and was so happy I did that I had to pay it forward. Dr. Wang called me himself to discuss my prescription after my Dr. called it in to make sure he understood my needs. He was really friendly he took a genuine interest in making sure I got what I needed in a timely manner. He called me again when it was ready to be picked up. He even called me to see if I needed a refill when my supply was almost out. I don’t think there is any other pharmacy out there that is so hands on and responsive. Finally, he was much more affordable than the previous compounding pharmacy I had worked with, icing on the cake!

After a bad experience with another pharmacy i came across OC Compounding Pharmacy and let me tell you — the difference was night and day. From the moment i spoke with Dr. Tom he explained everything in detail and was so willing to help me out with my issues. He even offered to mail me the medication free of charge. Dr. Tom Wang is the nicest, most professional and courteous person and animal lover! We have had him compound medication for our dogs when each of them went through the surgeries, and not only did we save quite a bit on the price (versus the animal hospital’s prices), but also enjoyed great great service.

I am very fortunate to find Orange County Compounding Pharmacy. I have not met anyone like Dr. Tom Wang who cares so much for his patient. I have a severe ear infection, my ENT doctor had prescribed me a powder medication to help with the fungus inside my ear. Dr Tom Wang was very responsive to have my powder prescription ready for pick up. When I came by to pick it up, he explained to me the medication and showed me how to use the powder with the apparatus. He asked me to give him feedback about the medication and the improvement of my condition. The following week I called back and told Tom my condition has not improve a whole lot. Right away, Tom suggested that he will make me a new batch with using an ingredient from another vendor at no charge. He wants my condition to improve. It’s more expensive for Tom to get this ingredient from this vendor, but Tom assured me there will not be a charge for this new powder. He just want to make sure that my ear infection improves and not care about making money. Nowadays, it’s hard to find someone like Tom who cares so much about his patients’ well being. I am deeply grateful and touched by Tom’s caring. I wish all my doctors and people that I do business with has Tom’s work ethics. I would highly recommend Orange County Compounding Pharmacy to everyone who is looking for a professional pharmacist who is very knowledgeable and stand behind all medication that he provides. OCCP has been a WONDERFUL find! After having my prescriptions compounded elsewhere, I am so delighted to have found this pharmacy! Dr. Tom Wang is very thorough and spent as much time with me as I needed in answering any of my questions and/​or adjusting the drugs. As a testament as to how I feel about this pharmacy, I am referring my daughter to him for her compounded prescriptions. He accepts my insurance and his pricing is great. On my first refill, questions were answered, the compounding completed and sent to me within a day! Very fast service. I can’t find a single thing that could use improvement with this pharmacy!

I highly recommend this compounding pharmacy. I currently have been getting my veterinary meds compounded here and they do a wonderful job of accommodating me. They also have very low prices, which helps when you’re spending a lot of money on other tests, treatments, etc. Tom, one of the pharmacists, is very helpful and nice. He’s also very thorough in his compounding, making sure that the dose is uniformly spread throughout the pills. If I ever need another compound, I’m coming here… and I’m recommending them to everyone I know.

Tom, the head pharmacist at the Orange County Compounding Pharmacy called me personally and spent 25 minutes on the phone with me answering my questions and creating my formulation in smaller batches so I could bring them on an airplane (I fly a lot for work). He delivered the medication so I would have it before my most recent trip. I cannot say enough about Tom and the OC Compounding Pharmacy.
