One of the most caring, calm and courteous Dr along with his kind office staff. I am so glad we found this Dr for my mom’s surgery. Couldn’t be happier about our decision.

This review is based on experiences we encountered at the office of Morris Ahdoot MD. In our opinion, this is the WORST Doctor we have ever come across! He lacks professionalism and bedside manners are very poor. On two different occasions during an office visit, his simply walked out from the exam room to answer a call on his cell phone. I believe this is a rather rude and unprofessional manner for a physician to leave the patient to attend a call. Funny since it would be a miracle to get him to return our calls for test results but finds time to attend calls on cell phone… Our experiences have been negative due to lack of patient attention and poor services that was rendered during office visits. Therefore, this review is a reflection of that. Patient care and clear communications between Doctor and Patient is of great importance to us, especially when it has to relate to an OB GYN. Dr. Morris Ahdoot Explains nothing, never seen him smile and always a bad attitude, especially if one inquire on tests or procedures. Unfortunately, follow-​up calls, leaving messages and requests for test results from Dr. Morris Ahdoot seems to fall on deaf ears. The staff is completely useless and also very unprofessional. This is the worst Gyno doctor office we have ever been to and seems like answering questions or test results are a major dent in Dr. Ahddot’s schedule. We will NEVER consider returning nor recommending this OB GYN to anyone. Wish there could have been an option to leave a zero star… Unilocal is a forum for reviews and opinions shared by others and consumer speech is protected under the law, even when it’s negative. This is the Worst Doctor!

Dr Ahdoot is the best. A true physician — humble, knowledgeable, caring. He takes care of his patients as if they were family. His staff is wonderful.

Dr. Ahdoot delivered my baby by C-​Section at Hoag hospital. The scar healed nicely and didn’t form a keloid like the previous C-​Section delivered by the other doctor. I am very pleased with the result. The office staff is very efficient. If there is some sort of complication and you need to see the doctor right away, you can schedule an appointment quickly and not having to wait for weeks. I was having complication and have to be admitted into the hospital for an emergency care, Dr. Ahdoot come visit his patient on Sat. and Sun. The waiting time at the office is about 5 to 10 minutes in a very clean and non-​clustered lobby area. When it comes to answer medical questions, Dr. Ahdoot provides simple, easy to follow answer, and suggests cost effective treatment. His office staffs bill the patient appropriately. You won’t find additional bills mistakenly or randomly add onto your account. Overall, I would continue having him as my OBGYN and also recommend Dr. Ahdoot to everyone in need of a wonderful OBGYN.

I have been seeing Dr Ahdoot since 1999. He is very professional and was there for me every step of the way through my pregnancies.

I would recommend Dr. Ahdoot to anyone! He’s the only one I trust! He delivered my first son and made me feel comfortable and in good hands the whole time! My c section scar is barely noticeable. The staff there is super friendly and I always get seen pretty quick! He answers all my questions and now I’m ready for him to deliver baby number 2!

This is the worst doctor I have ever been to. We waited for an hour and he simply told us to come back another time because we would have to wait even longer.

I recommend Dr. Ahdoot to anyone who is looking natural enhanced look, help with problem skin via laser treatments and/​or are in need for an excellent gynecologist. He has been erasing my frown lines, laugh lines, and plumping my (upper) lip for around 1– 2 years. I’ve also had him perform the IPL on my skin several times for my acne scars. Any service I’ve received from him has always been exactly what I wanted, if not better than I expected; l I’ve never had to worry about him over doing it (I know girls who’s lips look insane and I never have to worry about mine turning out that way. I met him years ago through my mom, he was her gynecologist and was then mine for several years. He also helped my diabetic step aunt give birth to 2 healthy girls and helped my mother give birth to my 2 month early baby sister. He knows his stuff and won’t feed you bs just to get your $. He always has beauty days and specials if you sign up on his email list — it’s definitely worth it to do. His secretary/​receptionist (Parisa?) is awesome and always helps me in any way she can and makes me feel comfortable even when I look like a freak, lol. Go to him :)

Words can not explain how happy we are for the recent 5 months we’ve spent with you.
Thank you very much for everything, you were not only our Doctor but also a human being which is rare nowadays.

I highly recommend Dr Ahdoot. He is the best. I had my c section last week at hoag that done by dr Ahdoot. he really did a good job that I frequently was asked who did the surgery? He did a good job. because my incision looks perfect. I didn’t feel pain or any uncomfortableness during or after surgery. Thank you Dr Ahdoot for every thing.

Dr Ahdoot is wonderful! I’ve been seeing him for 10 years now. With my own medical history, I decided to be proactive before trying for a baby. He was able to diagnose a couple more issues, which could have had devastating effects on a pregnancy. We got that taken care of, I got pregnant. He followed me very closely throughout, never made me feel wrong for coming in (even if it was weekly at some points!) He even preferred that I deliver at St Joes because of the link to CHOC — for that one in a million risk due to my issues. My baby is now nearing his 2^nd birthday — perfect as can be, thanks to my wonderful medical team, led by Dr Ahdoot!

This is my wife’s experience at Dr. Ahdoot’s office:
«I showed up at 9:30 A.M. for my appointment. After waiting for an hour I was told that he had to go to the hospital for an emergency. They offered same day appointment at 1:30 P.M. I got there at 1:25 P.M. and waited for another 30 minutes before doctor showed up. I explained my problem and within 10 minutes I was out with a lab order.
When I went to the lab for my test, I noticed that only one of the tests were actually ordered. Again sitting there for half an hour, they were able to get a doctor order and I got my tests done. Apparently he had forgotten to write it!!!
3 days later I had a call from the office that my urine test was normal (no call from the doctor to see how I was doing.)
And, to top it off: about a month later I had a bill from him for $ 375!!! and under services rendered he had put 45 minutes consultation!!!
Here’s the thing: I know that our medical system is corrupt but I have never been charged for $ 375 for 10 minutes of visit with no exams being done at the office (let’s not forget 1.5 hrs of wait time). I could justify this bill if I had at least a pap exam or something more complicated than a simple UTI «
The two starts belong to office staff who were so apologetic the whole time I was there and tried their best to help me out.

Dr Abdoot is the BEST! I have been going to him for years and then in 2013 he delivered my first baby at Hoag. I can’t even express what a great experience I had having him as my OB! Dr Ahdoot is very knowledgable and caring! I actually looked forward to my appt with him and I loved his office staff! Dr Ahdoot also answers all your questions and puts you at ease during a time of many uncertainties and unknowns. I can go on, he truly is the best!!!
Anyone who complains about him is just one of those people who complain when the sun comes out (aka everyday!). I don’t see how anyone wouldn’t like Dr Ahdoot. He has been the best obgyn I have ever met, so thankful I stumbled in him back when.

Recently I got surgery with doctor morris and I definitely recommend this doctor. He is so amazing, nice, skill, and is the best.

Nice and easygoing doctor. We both love him. Me and my wife. He is helpful and will not make you worry. My wife just had cesarean delivery with him at st. joseph hospital.

Hands down the best doctor I have ever met in my life!! Dr Ahdoot is extremely knowledgeable, highly experienced and always wears a beautiful smile on his face! we never felt rushed during our visits! he also has a wonderful staff! Both Claudia and Leti always made us feel comfortable and responded to all our queries immediately.
Dr Ahdoot made my high risk pregnancy easy with his positivity! He always surprised me by calling me personally with my reports (believe me… no doctor does that) it was his trust in me that I made it to full term! (I owe you big time for that) he also kept his promise by making it to the actual delivery even though he wasn’t the doctor on call that day! both me and my husband thank you from the bottom of our hearts for not just being a great doctor but also a WONDERFUL human being!

The Receptionist Claudia and the nurses/​medical Assistants there are very very kind and helpful. But I had to switch Doctors due to the lack of compassionate bed side manor and unwillingness to see my health conditions from my point of view. I now see a female Gyno.

Unethical.
This man is completely unethical. I went to visit him in 2011 and he sent me to do some testing. They charged me $ 200+ for the test which I wasn’t aware of but I paid that off.
Starting 2014 of this year, I get a bill for that charge (every month) asking me to pay the $ 200+ again. When I call the billing department they have notified me that I’m not the only person with this issue and multiple people have called but protocol isn’t to help the patients. He wants to charge patients from 2011 when we know we have paid them off and secondly, we haven’t received a single notice from 2012-​present about an incomplete payment???
There is nothing special or great about this doctor. I saw he had great reviews so I tried him out but beware of a LIFETIME of BILLING issues!
