Seating and location is nice. Usually under staffed and around 11 the staff starts cleaning up, i.e. putting away chairs, turning off the heat lamps and taking stuff off tables to drive costumers out! I also asked for coals and they purposely didn’t bring it so we would leave early. Note that they close at 12! Not my first time at a hookah place and I wasn’t impressed. Food is average and prices are a bit high and there are no refills on hot tea. I prefer Caspians hookah lounge! Although I wanted to support a small business rather than large, I won’t be back anytime soon.

Tried this place again — the hummus was sour had to send it back — the bill is always more and more expensive compared to the last visit — average hookah — sofas have a minimum spend which is stupid when the place is not even full

Momo’s is a great place to get hookah in Irvine. There are few options in the area, but this one is conveniently located close to UCI and off Jamboree Road. Service is what prevents this place from getting a higher rating. Their service can be very slow. Their food is not the main attraction. I have tried the sosees bandari sandwich and the kabob plate. Neither were impressive, but the gyro plate was great. They have good tea and baklava as well. During winter times, they have heat lamps and some kind of covering since it is primarily an outdoor location. It can get crowded some nights but usually there isn’t too much of a wait.

Really bad seating, terrible customer service and flavorless tea. The hookah was okay though.

I’ve been there couple of times, for a middle stern place is ok, but not otherwise, It’s always messi, always late, weird waiters, Almost every time they forget whether to take your order or what you have ordered or some things like that … Uncomfortable seats all outside, dysfunctioning heaters… Not a place I would recommend or go for a date, for a hang out with friends is ok. I just know a waiter, worker over there that is actually professional He told me his name was Ali If you are going there just ask for him, trust me it makes it much better

ZEROSTAR. So Not only was it hard to get serviced… when he finally brought us our hookah it was defective, the valve on the hookah was broken. We show the waiter and tell him if he can replace it and he does but decides to charge Us for two hookahs after verifying that it was broken! Then they bring out the«new» one that looks dirty and unwashed, looked disgusting to be honest. I’m ashamed to bring my girl to this«upscale» Momos spot. Paid $ 40 for unprofessional shitty service. Never coming back!

This is a pretty nice hookah place and they have good food. It’s 5 stars depending on who is working. At times you will be annoyed with waiting around for someone to help you or just longer than expected for things you ordered hookah or food to make it to your table. Some nights your coals will be changed every 5 minutes and sometimes your coals will die out and you have to go looking for someone to help you. But as I said it’s a fun little place they play good music, it’s only outside and to sit in the comfortable section(couches) it’s 80 $ minimum which is kind of ridiculous but depending on who’s working it may not be enforced. I go here regularly and with the weekend hours were a little better. I have had to go other places because of the hours.

Food *** Location ********** Price *** A special note on water, they charge $ 1.50 for a small bottle of water. Come and enjoy the outside and food, the hookah isint bad and the seating is generous.

The hookah here is pretty good, i usually go here if I amm too lazy to drive to Nubia café or the village. The double apple mint here is never disappointing it is always on point. I have noticed that at most hookah bars there is always that one flavor that they make will always be good if you go there and here it is the double apple. It has out door seating and i think they serve the hookah after 7pm. i still have to try the food here so for now i will give it a 4.

The only redeeming thing was the meat was at least good. Over the course of a decade I have been to several hookah bars/lounges. Some fabulous ones and some really divey ones. This falls in the category of not so great. When you approach the outdoor patio there are several tables and FOLDING chairs. Personally I like a more comfortable setting to relax which would entice one to stay longer. My friend ordered tangerine dream with ice in the glass for a smoother hit served in a fresh green apple. Along with hookah they also offer a variety of food. The menu ranges from wraps, rice bowls, and plates. I ordered a steak rice bowl, and my friend ordered a salmon bowl. He was delivered the hookah first. It was very weak! Water was filled too high and tobacco tastes burnt as if the coals had sat in the center for too long. The glass, handle, and components all appeared dirty. After about 20 minutes we got our food.(Mind you there were probably 5 other people there). The bowls were rice, meat, lettuce, and a few tomatoes. for $ 8. I could make that same thing at home. Bland, no flavor, and cold. The meat was alright but the salmon was cold and had bones all still inside. The atmosphere was very awkward that we didn’t stay long. No music, and stiff folding chairs weren’t for the win! Not my favorite. I would make the drive for good food and good hookah to another place in the area.

Went here with a friend for some hookah. She was a hookah expert and she said it was a great place. Nice outdoor seating, the staff was friendly and attentive. She ordered the cheese quesadilla. It was very good, but not very large. We expected a full tortilla, and it was about a half size. It came with yogurt sauce plus a nice green salad. Pretty good for the price tho. We got the watermelon flavor. The staff came over and changed our coals for us and were very helpful. Overall a good place to hang and get some hookah and cheap food.

I have been waiting for 15 minutes and no one cared to come and ask me what I want?! In fact someone came to ask me to move away from the table?! Interesting atmosphere!

The pros: this place is great, customer service differently GOOD. Selection of flavor for hookah… Good. Good: DELICIOUS!!! I really only have 2 things I could say this place could do that would make it a 5STAR… 1. Hookah doesn’t start till 7pm. That’s when there license permit them. Had I known that, I wouldn’t have gotten here at 5:45pm. And now because of the SoCal traffic, I have no choice but to wait… 2. The couches which are the most comfortable seats here, well they are a min. $ 80 per a reservation and $ 100 on weekends. But other than these two issues. I LOVETHISPLACE.

Was hungry and this place was less than a mile so we decided to try it. I love love love koobideh! Their koobideh was delicious but their basmati rice was not. When you arrive, if its your first time, you aren’t sure where to go and no one helps you until you make eye contact with a possible employee. Had no idea that the entire seating was outside! It’s 55 degrees out and I’m layered but if only they had more and better heaters. My date ordered the chicken plate? He seemed to think it was good enough, or we both were just starving so it didn’t matter. Came on a Thursday night and it was packed! There are only 3 couches and no one moves from them so you’re forced to sit on the clanky chairs. It was cool to check out but I think I will go to another place just to have better food.

I really enjoyed my gyro plate and the hookah was okay but I can’t get over them not offering tap water. I then asked for iced tea only to be told that they don’t have that either. Theres an automatic 12% tip included in your bill which I didn’t like. Also in order to redeem the 2 $ Unilocal coupon you have to give them a 5 star review while they’re staring over your shoulder.

Momo’s is one of a few hookah bars on the Irvine/Newport side of Orange County. Located in a small plaza on Alton and Jamboree, parking can be tricky but there is additional parking underground. The actual café is completely outdoors, which means it is freezing in the winter time. DRESSWARM. There are a few heated but it does not replace warm layers. There are plenty of tables, but it is not an enclosed patio so guests can meet up and smoke hookah under the stars. They play music a mix of top 40, classic hip hop. The hookah selection is good and they are great about replacing the coals before they burn out. The food is okay but I would eat dinner elsewhere and come here for the perfect time to socialize after. This is a fun place to meet friends in a central location.

Awesome hookah lounge in Irvine! The food is delicious, and they have some very tasty and unique hookah mixes. The music they play varies, and that what makes it great. The place is very clean, and the service is very prompt. If you live in Irvine, and you tired of saying«There’s nothing to do in Irvine past 9 pm», come to Momo’s and you won’t be disappointed.

Expensive, but clean. I’ve only ever had the chicken kabob with rice and I’ll say it’s good, but it’s not very much food for what you pay. The rice is fluffy and the salsa is fresh. The chicken is tender and moist as long as you can get it all down before it gets cold because then it turns into bricks. Not much to say other than walking away feeling a bit ripped off. Stomach was fine but not satisfied, though it was definitely fuller than my wallet was. Service is meh and the second time I came, they only had pencils to sign the receipts, which I didn’t like. I don’t think I’ll come back again, but that’s no reason for you to brush it off.
