Sylvia is an amazing designer, but also great to work with. She helped me design our new office space within a week and a half (I gave her a very tight timeline). From concept, shopping and install… she got it done! And the office suite looks amazing! All of our clients love it! She stuck to our budget and provided an amazing end product.

We hired Syvlia at m.a.p interiors to decorate our new house. She and her team did a fantastic job, the house looks absolutely stunning now ! I would highly recommend her and her team to anyone.

We used m.a.p. interiors when we moved into a new house and wanted to re-​paint all the walls and ceilings. Sylvia met with us to determine our style and presented us with a complete color scheme for every room in our house, also providing alternatives in some areas where we weren’t completely clear on what we wanted. She also provided referrals to painters. During the painting process, she came by the house to make sure the painters were doing what we had planned and paying attention to all of our details. The colors turned out beautifully. We highly recommend m.a.p. interiors.

We just finished our project (living room and Color Coordination for the entire house) with m.a.p. interiors and we had an excellent experience!!!
Since we are European we also wanted to keep the European touch in our house and decided to use m.a.p. interior.

After having a minor incident that forced us to rebuild our fireplace and floors we decided to hire m.a.p. interiors to help us redesign and «equip» our whole living area. We saw their work at a friend’s place and like the result a lot. After sending them pictures and links on what we liked (everything from lamps to tables to paintings), they came back and presented us the compiled design. Everything was done very professional and followed a clear concept.
During the next few weeks, Sylvia from m.a.p. interiors spent a lot of time showing us other options if we didn’t like anything or gave us directions on where we could find more items to look at.
Her extensive network of contractors as well as material stores helped us get everything at the best possible quality & price (which I am very thankful for).
Starting the actual work, they were often on site to make sure the contractors were doing the right things and correct them if necessary. This was very helpful for me as
I’m travelling most of time and would not have had the time to be home.
Now that we are done, I’m even happier that we’ve selected m.a.p. interiors as everything looks fantastic, flows beautifully together and we got it done at very reasonable price.

This is a tough one to review. I wasn’t able to make it through the entire process (for reasons that cost them three stars) and I’m letting them keep the other two stars based on faith. Their representative work looks good and the impression that I got from their designer was positive in that their vision for my space sounded good. However, that’s where things started to break down.
I was wanting a bathroom remodeled, which in Irvine requires permits, etc. This design team only had a relationship with one contractor, who refused to do any work with permits. They were completely unwilling to deal with permits of any kind and basically put the responsibility back on me to find a contractor, then M.A.P. would «help negotiate». That’s certainly not what I expect from from this type of a provider. M.A.P. doesn’t have the necessary relationships with contractors to guarantee that the project will be completed. While it’s not expected that the designer would do the work, they should have relationships with several contractors that would complete the team and let you choose the appropriate resource that you want to work with.
Bottom line, if you already have a contractor or don’t require permits… you’ll probably be happy with the results. If you don’t have a contractor already or you have to do permits (e.g. you have neighbors who would complain about noise, you are concerned about buyers raising questions or concerns when you sell the place, etc), don’t waste your time with M.A.P.
