I work right across the street and have been going to the Java Hut for about 2 years now. Its ran by a friendly couple that both take pride in the food they serve and have an attention to detail. I often call in my orders as they can get busy during the lunch hour.

The espresso here has a bold coffee flavor that at once cuts through the milk and chocolate in the café mocha just the right way to let you know that it’s there but also plays well with others. I tasted hints of cinnamon and mulling spices. A large 20 ounce mocha set you back about five dollars. However, it will serve only to lift your spirits and you don’t even have to get out of your car. If there is no line you can get your drink and be on your way in about 30 seconds. Very friendly service. Plenty of parking. Lots of food for snacks. You can pull up into a covered stall and sit in your car and relax or do work while you drink your coffee. Just one block from the 405 freeway, and right across the street from the orange county airport. It doesn’t look like as a restroom here so go ahead of time.

Super convenient and everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. The food and coffee are both much better than Star Bucks.

Cheers to convenience! Ambiance Parking | There’s maybe 3 parking spaces and 4 more separately spaced with shade. Seating | 2 tables that can seat 4 people each. Feels | It’s no Washington Kiosk but it gets the job done. Solid service and a good drink. The place is great that is 1 minute within a drive. Food: *Chai Tea Latte(Recommended) Served cold, creamy, and sweet. Customer Service | Fast and respectful. Works for me! Overall | 3 stars. Nothing fancy just a nice convenient with simple goods from food or drinks. Nothing artisan here but if I’m waiting to pick someone up and have some downtime. This is a great location. TL;DR Tips: * Stay under the shaded area to avoid heat * Gasoline station is right 1 minute away and 1 minute away from the Airport!

The food is over priced, the line takes way too long and the husband and wife are very rude. The customer service is not good. They give attitude and never smile. I will never comeback.

I attend Stanbridge College, which is right across the street from this small coffee shop. It’s probably the one and only reason I’m still awake and alive at this school. Thank God for their Frappé’s! I either get their breakfast sandwich or get a bagel with cream cheese. It is situated right in the middle of business parking and you can either walk up to the order window or go through the drive thru. It is run a by a small couple that work like a well-oiled machine. Only open Monday to Friday!

This husband and wife power couple are very kind, very appreciative of customer loyalty, and brew a mean half-caff latte with almond milk every time. If you want breakfast pastries or fresh fruit they have that too. I’ve never been for lunch but their menu board includes lunch items also! Diedrich Coffee brewed here! Fantabulous!

Sandwiches and smoothies are good. Smoothies have real berries(usually). Veggies in sandwiches are fresh(usually). My issue with this place is that it’s ran by a husband and wife. Wife always gets order right and charges the same. The man always has an attitude and charges what ever prices he wants oh and gets my order wrong. I went today ordered a sandwich and he came back telling me I ordered something totally diff. I didn’t want a jacked up sandwich and asked for a smoothie instead. He was like u already ordered the sandwich. Well sir you haven’t even started making it because u dk what I ordered so make my damn smoothie was what ran through my mind. But I just smiled. He started making my smoothie charged me a diff amount as always and forgot to add real fruit. What a douche!!!

Such a cute little random place! I just drive through and order and drive out. The service is friendly and they even let me order my drink that one time when they were about to close! Will return when I need a quick caffeine fix!

I have been coming here for years. I can’t believe that I have not written a review before now. This is a small former drive-up teller booths(Union Bank parking lot) that has been converted into a drive-up or walk-up coffee & breakfast & lunch spot. The couple that run this place are so very nice and cheerful. They are super fast, I can’t believe how fast the breakfast burrito is done. The wife always remembers my lunch favorite and asks me if I want the«usual» — the«California Turkey Club» I like it because it tastes like my Mom made it. I think this is the fastest, best food I have ever had. It is right across the street from JWA Airport and if you are waiting for someone to arrive during the breakfast or lunch hours you would be foolish to not stop here and have a refreshment. The coffee drinks are really good, as good or better than Starbucks. The ice tea, I would put on par with Teajava. Which I love. This couple are so nice, and deliver a good product. In the world of chains and mediocrity, Java Hut Express, is an Oasis in the big corporate Irvine world, I love it!

Great location and quick service. And they had almond milk as well for my latte. Sitting here sipping it around 7am, regulars don’t even have to get out of their cars… they get their favorites brought out them! How cool is that!

I’ve been going here before work and at lunch for years as my office is down the street so I feel inclined to defend this mom and pop business. It is such a convenient place to get good lattes — got to love drive thru and they are as quick as can be. The food is good, a bit pricier but good quality sandwiches. They have healthy snacks here too. I 100% support these small businesses and the owners have always been sweet and no-nonsense so perhaps don’t look for an ego boost with your coffee and you will be just fine with this place. Note: Let them know your sweetness level if you are sensitive about that in your latte.

Coffee anyone? Yes yes yes! My hand is up! This little establishment is A-Ok. I always order a Caramel Macchiato and it’s always very tasty. Today I also ordered a ham, egg, and cheese croissant. Unfortunately, my ham was forgotten so I got an egg and cheese croissant. Still not too bad. They toast the croissant so it’s nice and flaky. You are going to pay Starbucks prices but if the bill fits, they’ll charge it. They are in a primo location because there are so many office buildings all around it and we will pay a few more bucks for the convenience of fresh coffee in our parking lot. We often take a 10 minute break and hustle our little(well mines not so little) butts to the hut to get our mid-morning coffee fix and we’re never disappointed. If you’re close by it’s worth it! Give it a shot! If not, go to Starbucks– it just makes sense.

I was craving a coffee while in the area so I searched this place. I’m always one to support a small business but this one was horrendous, AWEFUL, and i will never go back. The woman that made my drink made me feel insignificant and as if I were bothering her! I just ask for a coffee! Not your first born child! I don’t not recommend this place. Everyone seemed to be in a bad mood and when another customer ordered, I watched the same thing occur to him. Stay away from this place

Jeez their service is getting worse. And you have to ASK for your change now? Lol ridiculous! If your bagel is $ 4 and you give them a $ 5 they look at you like«what?» And if you ask for your dollar change they look at you like you’re cheap and they deserved a tip… You’re making me a sandwich with the same hands you just handled my cash in plus the same hands you just wiped off the counter with.(No washing hands, no gloves) ok??? No thanks…

Drive through coffee, not a chain, and a friendly face at the window? I’m in. I love this little drive through coffee/treats/smoothie establishment. I go through here regularly since I work down the street and they prepare delicious coffee. I usually just get the normal cup of joe but when I’m looking for a treat I lean towards their muffins. The banana nut muffin is my favorite. One thing that I absolutely love is they usually remember your signature order. I always order a medium coffee with cream and sugar which they remember and grab for me while I’m waiting in line. This makes my drive through extremely quick and easy. I am in the drive through and out in about 2 minutes. The only thing that keeps me from the 5 star review is that they charge 50 cents for running my card. I totally understand fees, but this kinda stuff tends to add up when you go to a place almost everyday.

I’m moving to a new area next week and so sad that I won’t have Java Hut nearby. I’m updating my review so people know how great this place it. The ladies are SO friendly and this morning, as I drove away and sipped on my iced latte, I literally said aloud to myself, «yeaaa! that’s the stuff» Try them out, they’re worth it.
