Business Owner

Jason Hughes is President and CEO of Hughes Marino, Southern California’s leading tenant representation firm. Hughes Marino helps businesses lease, buy and build commercial space, and is committed to only representing tenants — never landlords.

Jason began his commercial real estate career in the late 1980’s, working for Cushman & Wakefield while attending college. Upon graduation, he moved to San Diego where he represented downtown tenants and landlords before joining a local tenant representation firm in 1991. In 1993, Jason co-​founded Irving Hughes and proceeded to run the firm as president for nearly two decades.

In January 2011, Jason and Irving Hughes principal and executive vice president David Marino formed Hughes Marino. All of the former Irving Hughes team joined Hughes Marino — making Hughes Marino the largest exclusive tenant and buyer representation company in Southern California, with offices in San Diego, Orange County, Downtown Los Angeles, and Century City.
