Disgusting! Not sure why non service dogs are allowed up at the manicure stations but apparently this is OK with them. I went for a manicure and they seated a lady next to me with a filthy dirty dog sitting in her lap next to me. I couldn’t believe it! After watching this woman and the animal up on the arm rest I thought how unsanitary and got up and ended my manicure half way through.
I was asked to pay for the WHOLE THING! Absolutely unacceptable! I explained that this should have never happened! It was unsanitary and that it was not a service dog and if it was the dog should have been placed on the floor. Front desk girl, Van was her name with all kinds of attitude did not like me discussing my FEELINGS at the front tried to make sure no one else heard my concerns, told me she would make it up to me next time as she made me pay for the whole thing.
The owner was called and they still made me pay for the whole thing even though I DID NOT RECEIVE THE ENTIRE SERVICE!!! i will make a formal complaint with the State Cosmetology Board. I was told I was on video tape for my behavior, I thought, «Great» I hope the state gets to review what they are doing!!!
Will never go back and just because I am a woman of principal I will take them to small claims court to get my money back!
Absolutely, should not operate a dirty disgusting salon!

Love, love, LOVE my nails. Got thin acrylic with gel polish, pedi, and nail art for $ 70. Rachel was awesome. She constantly asked if I liked the shape and how the nails we’re looking. And everytime I mentioned one little thing I wanted cleaned up, she would go over ALL of my nails! Super happy with the service and the salon wasn’t crammed on a Saturday afternoon!

My coworker and I had gone here after work on a Friday to get our nails done and I had called the day prior to check their prices before we went in. Getting our nails done was fine. we didn’t have to wait long and they did a decent job with both our acrylics. The price ended up being significantly higher than what they had told me over the phone. The manager then proceeded to tell us we must not have told them correctly what we wanted to do (over the phone) and kept showing us their price brochure. It could have been a language barrier, but I felt ripped off. Needless to say, I won’t be going back to this place! I could get the same thing elsewhere for much cheaper.

First time customer here at Happy Nails. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure with a lip wax. Total was $ 57.00 both ladies did a great job. Good strong massage, nice, and painted my nails just how I liked them. I would come back. I would say try it out.

Thanks Susan for making me love my nails and hands again ! My work requires me using rubbing alcohol daily and my nails and cuticles took a heavy toll; my natural nails were peeling! But Susan helped clean up my nails nicely and was very gentle and attentive in working with my nails. If you’re around the area, stop by and ask for Susan! Thank you so much!

Love Nick and Gwen (5 stars for their nail care) but I went in with my girlfriend recently. We both wanted the same exact color but I think bc they thought they would have to paint our nails at the same time (which actually did not happen the way it worked out) but they gave us a slightly different shade on one part (only my manicure) I guess they thought we would never notice, but my girlfriend saw the whole thing happen… but didn’t tell me until later. Heres what happened: The manager came over and dropped the similar color off, then when the technician said it’s the wrong color, she said to use it anyway… and I walked off with a different color on my toes than hands. Just seems dishonest to me… I’m going in today maybe they will make it up to me…
2÷6÷16 I went back and spoke to the manager. She said it was just two different bottles of the same MINT color. She was very nice. I will keep going back.

Went to get my eyebrows waxed because I somehow managed to make them uneven when I was tweezing them between waxes. May had good attention to detail and was sweet as well. My eyebrows look great now. Compared to other Happy Nail locations I’ve been to which have ranged from not so great experiences to really great services I’d have to say this is a location that is doing well with their attention to detail and customer service.

I’m in love with the girls there! Nancy did my nails last night after work. I was the only one but both Nancy and manager My were so patiently stayed till almost 8pm for me. I have crazy schedule with work and everything else. Coming here to get my nails look refreshed has been the best treat to myself. Enough said, I will post my new nails look.

I’ve been going to Susan for about 6 months and she is really terrific! She is very professional and does such a great acrylic fill. I have even gone a month without having a fill!
All of the people that work there are so friendly. I really recommend Happy Nails.

love this salon. i have been coming here religiously for almost a year now. they treat me like family– always attentive and friendly.
my go-​to girl is may– she does a wonderful job and is such a genuinely sweet person. my nails always look awesome thanks to this place and i get lots of compliments all the time!
i always tell people to come here, because they take care of you– it took me a long time of trial and error to finally find a nail salon i want to come back to.

I have to say I was impressed by the service at Happy Nails on Harvard. I can’t vouch for all the nail places, but I don’t get my nails done very often and these technicians gave me their full attention. The lady running the place got a chair ready for me. The two technicians who worked on me talked to me. They asked me about my hair, my shoes, my work.
No one rushed, even though I went well past their closing time. I added on a eyebrow wax and lip wax. I asked only for a shaping because I don’t have much eyebrow to lose and the technician asked another girl to clarify what I was asking when she didn’t understand. She then repeated back to me what I was asking for with the brows before doing it. She did them perfect! I’m very rough on my feet and my hands (I hike, I do my own dishes, I repair things) and my nails still look like I just got them done (it’s been about a week). She worked extra hard with the pumice stone on my feet without a word. I appreciate the attention to detail they gave.
As I looked around, I saw that everyone working there is happy and smiling. They aren’t in a hurry and they like what they do. Try to enjoy the pampering they offer, it’s well worth the extra time in the chair.

Let me make this simple for HAPPY NAILS: If you want to be a professional salon and make money, STOP talking shit. It is extremely rude & disrespectful. Ive been here a few times hoping that my experience would get better every time. It didn’t and HAPPY NAILS salon Im over you. By the way I found THEEEEEEEEE best nail salon in OC and guess what? They are incredible. Their whole motto is «if you catch the employees speaking in their native tongue, your service is free» Now WHY would a business do that? hmm maybe because we are tired of listening to our nail technicains talking shit every time we go for there for a service. No disrespect to the asian community.

I used to go to this location but I since have changed to the culver plaza location for many reasons.
1) there prices increased, there prices for kids are ridiculous and they charge for a tiny designs, I mean how much nail are u painting on a 8 yr old.
2) every time I asked for them to give my two daughters a spa pedicure the lady actually would get annoyed with me and she would say are you kidding me are you serious spa pedicure not just color change. Mind you my daughter is 12 and is a dancer her legs hurt and get tired too. Sometimes I like to treat my 12 year old and 8yr old to a spa pedicure what’s the big deal if I am paying for it.
3) every time I did pay for a spa pedicure they never gave my 12 yr a massage maybe because they felt she didn’t need one so in my opinion when never got what we paid for and I felt bad because it was what my daughter looked forward too.
4) I was getting a pedicure and changed my mind and asked for an additional manicure and the owner actually goes oh, I’m going to kill you. I was shocked I never heard of someone wanting to kill you for giving them more business especially since my pedi wasn’t even done and all I wanted was my nails to be cleaned up with no color.
5) the lady who is in charge is not friendly
6) On my last and final visit I went there signed in and they were super busy and I asked for 3 pedicures and again I got the strange look because I wanted a pedicure for my 12 and 8 yr old. We waited and waited she ended up taking people who walked in AFTER me who had no apt. At that point I got fed up and left, I gave them so much business it was time to move on. So now we have been going to the culver plaza location where they are much nicer and they give both my girls great pedis.

I ordered the Signature Mani & Pedi for $ 35, and paid a little extra for gel nails. WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! It took 2 hours!!!
My terrible nails are a result of two hours of poor communication, bad customer service by the nail tech, pain, blood, and uneven nails. (See attached photos for bad nail job)
My thumb’s cuticle bed was torn off and started bleeding by the nail tech’s buffer and then she put alcohol on it. She then FORGOT to add moisturizer and massage to my manicure.
While owner tried to do damage control and give me a $ 10 off the $ 50 service — she still managed to pass the buck onto the nail tech saying she didn’t know how to use the gel nail powder for my manicure. YOU HAD ONE JOB!!! Why are you even letting them use this product?! The nail tech had an attitude problem saying, «I say sorry so many time already!!» I was patient through all of this and didn’t say anything because I felt sorry for her.
I will gladly take my business back to DIVINE NAILS on Main Street next to Wells Fargo and visit Kim again. Divine nails is BRAND NEW with brand new massage chairs and nail stations. My nail tech at Divine Nails, Kim, is sweet, pleasant, nice and knows how to do SNS Gelous Nail gel powder nails… unlike the tired, frustrated, cuticle tearing woman who works here. God, what a sad life she has.

Their customer service is nice. Like their spa, i almost fell asleep while i doing feet spa!

I dont know why they got so many bad reviews. I had a great time there and went home with beautiful nails– which exceeded my expectation! I walked in to the shop cuz i was in the area and i was waiting for my hubby, i figured i could kill some time pampering myself with this. At first i only planned to change my nail polish, but the lady– i forgot her name :(- told me to try gel nail since it lasts longer and it surely does! I have had them for over a week now and they still hold up very well. Only thing is that my nails grows so fast that there are gaps between the gel and my cuticles now.:(. But definitely come back to refill and im thinking doing gel
On my toes too if thats even possible lol! Highly recommend this place!

This was awful. Painful and took and hour and never finished. I ended up leaving without any color because I was so late and in so much pain.
Never Never go there. And they had the balls to still charge me.

If I could add 0 stars I would. Last monday I had gotten my nails done, not to short and not even long. I had asked for stiletto shape and even showed her (Sydney, name of the worker) how to shape the nails. As she was gluing my nails she hardly added glue and she had put it on the very edge which makes the nail easily break. Non of my nails were even which was frustrating, and the «French nails» she did was just a line across. She constantly complained to me how that she was right and I was wrong about the shape being pointy ended, it was rounded out
After all that I went home and started to cook, while I was cutting an apple, my nail completely broke off. No pain either, which is very uncommon, I didn’t even feel it. 2 days pasted by and 3 nails broke off.
I went back and complained to get my nails fixed and as she was she decided to do them a gel which I did not have, and a different color (purple) that I did not have. The paint on my nails were jet black.
This place is so rude, they all look and you and talk about you in their language and are not close polite to you.
I went home and realized that she’d purposely put purple nails after being so kind and respectful tipping her generously
I was astonished. Never at any nail place had my nails easily broke off and put a different color.
One day passes by and 3 more of the previous nails she did in the beginning broke off.
I went back and asked for a completely new set and she denied me. It had been 4 days since my nails were done and practically all my nails were broken. Paying as much as they had charged me I was furious.
Sydney started yelling at me the customer saying «no one here wants to do your nails!» I didn’t respond I was just in shock
Finally saying. This was the absolute WORST and smallest happy nails I had ever been too. Please don’t waste your time or money !

I am usually very picky with my acrylic/​gel nails but I was very satisfied with my service! Nick and Casey did an awesome job I would highly recommend this salon to any of my friends!
