I’m a fan of Fatburger. I love it. I love how you can get a fried egg in there and I just can’t get over it. Call me easy for liking a place just because of one thing, but what can I say, I love eggs in my burgers! Too bad this place is CLOSED. WAAAH :(

oh no! the closest Fatburger is gone!!! Unlike many of the people who reviewed this location. I did not come here because of a coupon. I frequented this place quite a lot(explains a lot) when I used to work in the office building right behind it. When I worked there I also lived at Villa Sienna apartments across so I would walk to work. one the days when I don’t bring a lunch there wasn’t really too much to choose from since majority of them were«fancier» sit down places” FatBurger’s meat was cooked well, never dry, yeah needed a bit more salt, think of it as they are watching your health, the option of adding relish instead of pickles was one of my favorites, I hate pickles but love relish, weird I know. complete the burger with a fired egg, who does that? really? you can’t get that at In-n-Out. This place was doomed for a while every since they tore down the theater that used to be there. All the restaurants on that side are gone. I remember there as a GREAT Peruvian place there, then there was a Jack Shimp. I miss those day. Glad I don’t live & work in that area any more. I’d starve!

I came here because I bought a coupon online and it was a sweet deal, especially since I most likely wouldn’t pay the normal price for the burgers when I could definitely find a cheaper place with same or better quality. But still, I have never tried Fatburger in my life up to that point and decided it was time to try it. My friend and I both ordered small Fatburgers with bacon and we shared Fat fries(Steak Fries) and homemade onion rings. Drinks already came along with the coupon. My cousin also asked for jalapenos, which they gleefully gave her. I had a wonderful experience with them. The burger was just right – the right size, the right texture, the right ingredients put together. Even with the simplest burger ingredients(all except the bacon — which isn’t considered a typical burger ingredient), it tasted better than other burgers out there. The bacon was crisp and the ingredients were fresh. They didn’t skimp out on the sauce, which made the entire burger even juicier rather than dry. I would love to come back and visit Fatburger if it weren’t that expensive(hey, I have to pay bills, man). The Fat fries(steak fries) were very crispy and not too fat. The onion rings, on the other hand, were quite difficult to eat because whenever I picked up a ring, all the fried batter would fall off and that is my one PETPEEVE with onion rings. If there’s no fried batter than I would just be holding a soggy onion. Other than that, the facility was clean and the customer service was great. Our cashier saw that he ended up punching the coupon ID the wrong way and the difference we had to pay came out to be even cheaper. :)

I like fatburger. I don’t like this location. I agree service is sketchy here. Also, it smells like a gas station restroom. I have been here at least 3 times and it always smells the same. It makes it unbearable to sit here let alone eat here. That’s a shame because fatburgers are yummy.

(+) Option of steak fries or thin fries (+) Meatier than in-n-out burgers (+) Had sweetened green tea!(: (+) free wifi (-) Burger was bland (-) Meat lacked flavor (-) No sauce or if there is, didn’t taste it (-) Expensive, $ 10 for a medium meal and a «medium» burger looked like a normal sized burger (-) Toasted bun? Should toast it some more It’s average and the price makes me give it a 2. I get better tasting burgers from Carl’s Jr for half or even a third the price! I’d only come back IF for SOME reason I decide to do the triple king challenge ahaha

Maybe I’m becoming a burger snob. Maybe Fatburger isn’t just that good. Whatever the case, I feel that I’ve had burgers that were so much better and in some cases, less expensive. After church last weekend, I stopped in for a quick bite. I chose their Swiss Mushroom Burger. Burger is small. It’s just a tad bigger than some of those $ 1 deals you can get at other fast food restaurants. The taste isn’t bad — but not for the price as I’ve had burgers at other fast food restaurants that taste off so much better taste. For just under $ 10 for a burger(no fries or a drink), I could have eaten elsewhere and had more and better.

Uh oh… do I smell turf war? First it was B.I.G. and 2Pac. Now it’s 5 Guys encroaching on West Coast Fatburger territory… Let the burger gang wars begin … who’s burger will reign supreme? And the answer is … In N Out. But between 5 Guys and Fatburger, I choose Fatburger. I’ve come to the realization that this place is called Fatburger because their burgers make you fat. Not necessarily because the burgers are nice and fat. The regular burgers are pretty big though, but once you start going into the XXL size burgers, it really does start to get on the pricier end. But they are one of the first people to put a fried egg on a burger. Kudos for that. Ultimately, dollar for dollar, ¼ pound for ¼ pound, Fatburger beats 5 Guys any day. The only time I had 5 Guys, it was $ 25 for 2 burgers, 2 drinks and an order of fries. And we both left unsatisfied. At least when you walk out of Fatburger, you leave knowing you just got a whole lot fatter, but at least it was a good burger. But of course, you can also get a much cheaper, much healthier, and equally filling burger down the street at less than half the price under the bright yellow arrow. But for what it is, Fatburger ain’t bad.

Nah, not impressed. Glad I had a $ 16 Register deal for $ 8 b/c that was NOT worth $ 30($ 0.99 for extra toppings: cheese, bacon, etc) I like to call myself a vegetarian except for burgers(so really I’m a flexitarian b/c I do eat fish occasionally too!) b/c every so often I crave me a good burger. So far my weaknesses are: Peter’s Gourmade in Tustin, Haven Gastropub in Orange, &50⁄50 Slaters in Anaheim. I have yet to try Umami and Mick’s Karma. I won’t include the usual stomping grounds of In n’ Out, Five Guys, etc… Ordered: Small(2.5 oz) bacon cheeseburger, Large(8oz) bacon cheeseburger, 2 skinny fries, onion rings, Oreo and vanilla shakes. Girls, a small ain’t even small, more like mother midget sizes of all burgers!!! Just call it s SLIDER won’t ya??? I finished it off in 4 bites, one bite per quarter side. OMG! DF’s Large was legit and I actually had to eat the last 3 bites for him. The burgers themselves were cooked well done w/no seasoning. Bacon was thick and well done and lacked the crisp and saltiness helps add flavor to the burger. Tasted dry just as the toasted buns they were on. Peter’s Gourmade toasts his to hold up to the ABC condiments but Fatburgers toasted lent the buns to rock hard. Not even the mayo and shredded lettuce could moisten them back up on the 8 min drive home. Skinny fries were good but needed SEASONING my friends! A lil’ sea salt +Lawry’s at home and they were comparable to Peters Gourmade. O-rings, bleh. Maybe if we ate them there they wouldn’t have lost their crisp batter sitting in the vented box. The bottom of the box was a pool of grease by the time we opened them at home 10 mins later. Oreo shake, yum. Standard. Thick, not too sweet. Vanilla shake, bleh, TOO vanilla-ey. Tasted almost fake. DF wanted a vanilla malt but they don’t make malts.

Like the other Fatburgers I have visited, this is restaurant serves the best fast food burger around. I took a new work associate to this location yesterday and he had never been to a Fatburger before. I ordered a medium deal with cheese and bacon and ordered a large deal with cheese. We both ordered fat fries. The great thing about Fatburger is the meat is fresh, not frozen and everything is made to order which means it always come to you hot. My co-worker said it is one of the best burgers he has tasted, looks like Fatburger has another convert. I know how many people love In-N-Out, but I really have a problem with their fries and there is just no way a Double Double is going to fill me up on its own. For my money, it will always be Fatburger!

Get here a little early, or you’ll be waiting in a long line. I waited only about 5 minutes in line before I got to the front. While waiting for the next register, an employee approached and asked me what my order is so he can yell it out. So, I said I wanted a small burger but before I finish telling him my order, he yells out«SMALLBURGER». Then I say on wheat and I wanted to add something else but he cuts me off and turns around and yells«ONWHEAT». I finished by saying with a scoop of chili. He got pissed and was like WITHCHILI? WTF. It’s on the menu, I want it. Is this a problem or something? Dumb ass. Anyways, after that fiasco, we sat and waited for ten minutes before our order came. Burger was not hot but was warm and fries were really good. Mostly a good experience. I’d come back and hope I wouldn’t have to deal with Mr. Interrupter.

Fatburger’s milkshakes are so worth the lactose intolerance intestinal pains. Creamy, delicious, stabbing pain in stomach, goodness.

I got a BOGO deal in the OC Savers and decided to revisit Fatburger. The last time I ate here was over 5 years ago. I was kind of surprised at how expensive a burger meal was. They’re about $ 10 for a burger, soda, and fries — just about how much is would cost to get a burger at a sit down restaurant. I was glad we had the BOGO deal(only the burger itself was free after purchase of a meal). We both ordered medium beef burger with an egg. I don’t even know why I got the egg because I couldn’t even taste it. It was just your regular classic burger with the usual toppings — nothing really stuck out to me. I personally prefer going to In and Out for their animal style. It’s cheaper and more flavorful. YUM

Everyone has their favorites when it comes to burgers and while I prefer this to In-N-Out, I still love my Five Guys. I like that they have 5 sizes to choose from and they have steak fries. The burger is not too oily and this is one of those places where burgers are made upon order. I feel that the taste is mediocre though, probably not something I would crave for.

I came here the other night and I was really disappointed. The food is all right, but for the price they charge you, I think I’ll go elsewhere for a hamburger. I can get so much more food at In-N-Out for what I paid at Fatburger. I don’t think I’ll return …

I wont get into the In-N-Out vs. Fatburger dispute(though, if you know me, you know which way I lean towards). That being said, here’s my review: This is a good Fatburger location, very close to John Wayne and easy to get too. The restaurant is pretty clean and service is quick, despite usually being pretty busy.

After hearing so many people talk about how FRESH and JUICY their burgers are and how it is «ten times better than in&out» blah blah blah blah blah blah blah, I finally decided that it is time to give this place a shot. …MEH. I got the small size combo with skinny fries.(about $ 7) I really liked that all burgers are made to order and in fact, the burgers did taste very fresh and home-made. But besides that, there wasn’t anything special. I’d rather pay $ 5 at In&Out and get their juuiiicy, flavorful animal style burger combo than pay $ 3 more at Fatburger for their mediocre meal. I’d definitely choose in&out over this place anyday.

A blast from my college past. I was in the Irvine area for business and I had to visit the ol’ Michelson spot for a delicious Fatburger. The place pretty much looks the same as it did when I was a young, poor, and hungry lad visiting with my roommates and all of us ordering the Kingburger with everything on it along with a side order of Fat Fries and a soda. I didn’t want to gorge myself like I did in my past glory so I conservatively ordered a Fatburger with just bacon and fried egg and forgo the cheese and chili. Skinny Fries and a cup of water would also suffice this time. It was everything I remembered it was. The bacon was crispy, the fried egg providing an additional unctuous element, and the overall taste is something unique that just can’t compare to any other burger. The Skinny Fries were hot and fried perfectly. Immediately, I was transported back. Then I thought of the late night studying, the midterms and finals, and all the stress. Then I snapped myself back. No need to go back to those horrors. I hope Fatburger expands more to NorCal, but if it doesn’t I’ll be happy to stop by whenever I’m in the SoCal area again just for a taste of nostalgia.

I have no complaints about the food here, if you are heading here you probably know what you are getting. make sure to have them verify your order because you will end up with a mountain of relish on your burger otherwise… The thing about this place is the lack of parking for this spot. It’s awful, and its been ongoing for YEARS. Good luck trying to get in here during lunch, and I strongly recommend you call in your order first.

My coworkers super hyped up this place and I’ve never been. I mean, I’ve been once, but it was just to go inside and look at the menu. So after rave reviews from my coworkers, I decided to make a special trip to FatBurger for lunch. DONOT I repeat DONOT come here during the week between 12−1PM. I must’ve circled around all the parking lots for at least 10 minutes trying to find a spot. Just when I was about to pull into one of those reserved spots, one space opened up! Yahtzee! If you’re not eating there, I recommend that you order ahead of time online. Very convenient. Also, if you separated your orders online by name, they are nice enough to label them for you. There’s a separate line for online orders so it’s pretty fast. Now, onto the reason why I only gave this place two stars. The online ordering menu was very specific. You can choose everything little thing you wanted in your meal. I went with the baby fat deal. I chose to pick my toppings. ALL I clicked on was the egg and grilled onions. I traded up and got their homemade onion rings and a regular drink. When I finally sat down to enjoy what I thought would be a super delicious meal, I noticed the burger wrapping was all soggy. WHY? My burger should’ve only had the patty, egg, and grilled onions. Well, it literally had everything in there! Relish, pickles, lettuce, tomato, etc. UGH! I was beyond pissed at this point. I drove around for ages to look for a damn parking space and when I finally sit down to eat it’s all messed up! Couldn’t tell you how the grilled onions tasted, but the egg definitely made the burger better. The baby fat is a perfect size for the ladies or anyone that has a smaller appetite. The burger was mediocre, I’d rather go to Carls Jr. and get their Western Bacon Burger. The homemade onion rings weren’t as good as I expected it to be. I didn’t even finish them. I did like the breading though. Wasn’t too heavy. The only reason they’re getting 2 stars is because their staff were really friendly, even in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. The Last Great Hamburger Stand? I think NOT!

I’ve wanted to eat a Fatburger for years! Well today was the day! Over $ 9.00 for a combo meal was a bit of a shock! But that did not detour me from this experience. Burger was delicious w/cheese, fat fries and a diet coke of course! For fast food this was above average.
