Executive Look Auto Detailing

I bought a Groupon for this place, and was excited to give my car a little love. I know Groupons mean scheduling an appt can get nuts, so I was fine with calling in Oct 2012 and getting a Dec 2012 appt. I talked to the scheduler on the phone, and he seemed like a good guy who was just slammed with all the new business. Fine, no problem.
When the appt day approached, I ended up having to reschedule. The business’s voice mail says to text for faster response time, so I did. After the initial reply saying I could reschedule (but without giving me any alternate dates, which was weird), I called and texted multiple times to reschedule. Nothing.
Meanwhile, I had decided to sell my car and really wanted to use this Groupon to get it detailed before I put it on the market, so I kept on trying and trying to reschedule. I received NO FURTHER RESPONSE for *5 MONTHS*. Totally ridiculous.
I finally gave up and contacted Groupon about the situation. Groupon sent me a credit for the $ 89 I had spent on this total and utter waste of time. Maybe this place does good work, but sadly, I will never find out.

Let me start by saying that I used a groupon. This shouldn’t really matter, however when groupons are issued scheduling usually fills up fast and becomes a nightmare. Fortunately I was flexible, I waited a few months then took my Tahoe in for a complete detail. The interior work was excellent, however I felt the exterior had missed some major areas. I called Mark, the owner, and without hesitation, he had me bring the truck back. On the second round, the detail job looked amazing. Other than my rock chips, it was nearly back to it’s original new look. Thanks

DOES ANYONE HAVE GERALD’S CELL PHONE NUMBER? I would be soooooo grateful for your help. I’ve been trying to call but the main phone line (949) 233‑1592 rings once and then goes to an automated voice system, with a full mailbox. I’d love to take my car in to Gerald and his team this weekend, but I can’t get a hold of him. Please, please, please let me know if you have his cell phone number somehow. I’d be eternally grateful!

Gerald is very dedicated on his job. He detailed my car from a 6 year-​old look into a brand new look. I can tell by looking at my 6-​year-​old «new» car, he polished and treated my car well. I am surprised that he is able to finish my car in a day. Thank you!

I purchased a 2007 Mercedes SL550, the car was nice but the paint was highly oxidized and needed some help to bring it back to a show room finish. While discussing my options for color restoration with Gerald I could tell right away he knew what he was talking about and his passion for perfection was very cool. As we discussed my vision for my car he gave me ideas and suggested a color sanding process that he guaranteed would make the car look as good if not better than the new showroom look! Also I told him I was interested in tinting my windows, taking out some minor dings, cherry out my tail lights, and getting some new rims and tires, and let me tell you what he is very well connected, if you have something you want done to you can he can get it done for you. After the first couple days I dropped by to see the progress, and let me tell you, my windows were tinted, the tail lights were cherried out, and the rim company he works with brought temp rims out so they could take back my rims and pull the sensors out and put them on my new rims that they brought out and installed on my car while Gerald was working on the color sanding of my Mercedes. Now I have to tell you at this point I was very, very pleased except for one small detail, or should I say HUGE detail, my car was dull, no more luster sandpapered down and many did that make me nervous! In the back of my mind I was wondering how he will very fix this. I knew I put my trust in him so I just had to let him do his job, well I came back a couple days later and we astonished at the difference I absolutely was ecstatic with the incredible job Gerald did on my car. It took about a week from start to finish and let me tell you, my used car looks better now that most of the new Mercedes SL’s on the road today, I want to thank Gerald and his team so much for the AWESOME job they did and would highly recommend if you love car like I do trust no one else with your Detailing or Paint Restoration needs, except Orange County’s Executive Look Auto Detailing.

Gerald is great. This man is a DETAIL-​ER. He sees things I don’t see on my own car. He repaired a door scrap which was about 10 inches long on the side panel of my Lexus. He handled the dent and paint. About a yr later during a detailing of the vehicle he thought the paint was less than perfect and repainted the whole door for free. Of course, when he is finished with my car it looks brand new again. Even the headlights were shinny and new. I also take my 61 classic to him for detailing.

He provides great customer service and most of all he is honest about the repairs and gave me plenty of options on how to fix some damages done to my car.
The estimates he gave me were much cheaper than the other ones I received and Gerald did a great job with the option I picked.

I usually support local businesses, however, my experience here was a bit ridiculous.
I took my car in to get it detailed. I told him I was trying to sell my car. The owner was actually nice and told me that he has expertise in understanding what needs to be done to a car aesthetically to make it more sellable. I trusted his judgement, and he recommended a general interior cleaning, an outer detailing, shining the headlines, and steaming under the hood to get it nice and well maintained looking. I trusted the guy and he seemed considerate about quoting a final fee that would work with my budget, which I appreciated.
He then proceeded to show a sample of his work on the back spoiler. I’m not exactly sure what he was doing, but it involved rubbing it with something that looked like clay, then buffing it. Apparently he had «never seen anything like this» since apparently a lot of grey was coming out of the paint, which he called dirt. In retrospect, he was probably just completely rubbing off the paint because the paint started to look lighter in that spot he was working on.
He then suggested that it would be better to paint the spoiler black. I told him I wasn’t sure, because I preferred to have my car all one color (my car is silver) and wasn’t sure if aesthetically I would like it painted black. I told him not to paint it, but to later call me so I could take a look at the car and the spoiler and would let him know if I wanted it painted or not.
Two days later, I call him and he tells me my car is ready. He then says HE PAINTED MY BACK SPOILER BLACK. Especially when I told him not to unless I asked him. The thing is, it looked terrible! It made my car look more cheap and plasticy. I was devastated.
He proceeded to say that he was an expert in cars and said that this like 100x better painted black. The thing is, whether you are an expert or not, YOU DON’T PAINT PARTS OF PEOPLE’S CARS WITHOUT ASKING THEM. In the end, I felt incredibly disrespected. I eventually paid him less than the total price of the entire deal, when in actually, I shouldn’t have paid him anything since he did work on the car that I explicitly told him not to do. He even had the audacity to say that if I sold the car, I should return him the rest of the money. Well guess what, it’s been a few days, and I haven’t sold the car.
To make matters worse, when I examined the rest of the work that I actually hired him to do, there were still crumbs in the glovebox and it looks like they COMPLETELY forgot to clean the back trunk area because there were still leaves and things back there. I had also asked him to remove the grease from the gas tank opening which looks like he completely forgot to do.
So overall:
a) He painted a part of my car without asking
b) Didn’t even do a decent job on the stuff that I paid him to do in the first place

I am a car fanatic, so when I moved from the east coast I brought a very special mustang with me. It had been sitting in a warehouse for quite some time and the paint was somewhat neglected before I bought it, needless to say it needed some special attention. I did some research and after reading reviews I decided to try Executive Look out. Gerald did a total 360 of my car and gave me a run down of what he could do (no BS). I left the car with him, when I got it back I was blown away. The car was immaculate, dents were gone, scratches were gone I was truly in awe. I highly recommend.

While the finished product is good, the lack of professionalism is disturbing. I brought my car there awhile ago and they took the car for a spin to dry it. Really? Who dries a car like that? I know if I didn’t have a rev limiter in it they would be revving it hard.
In addition to that, they put scratches in the door jam and I didn’t see it until I got home. To make up for it, they plugged the hole they drilled with bondo instead of the plastic plug they had used earlier.
UPDATE: I just saw that the owner responded… yes I DO have the correct company, don’t try to deny culpability. I even remember that the owner’s name is Gerald. Sorry, the scratches to my blue ’03 WRX was done by your guys and no one else.

So the wife’s little red sports car was in dire need of some TLC. After 7 or so years of neglect, it was about time for a full on detail with paint corrections and all… we’re talking the whole 9 yards here. The paint was dull, uneven, and was rough to the touch. I’m some what a little… how do you say a#@l about my car, so I proceeded to scour the internet for a good non-​mobile detailer. I found Gerald and upon arriving he buffed a test spot on the car to show us what to expect. FYI, his shop is at the top of a parking garage in a business park. He took the time to explain everything that he was going to do in detail and made us feel comfortable leaving the car in his hands.
Dropped off the car on Friday night, was supposed to pick it up on Tuesday evening, but he had not finished yet and that it would be done on Wed. The next day, I had trouble getting him on the phone, so I ended up showing up only to ninja down the stairs like a mad man, to catch my ride before he left the garage… not cool. The car was finally done the next day Thursday and it looked amazing. Red was nice and deep again and all the trim was nice and conditioned. There was a spot on the hood that could not be saved, but Gerald was very quick to let me know about it as soon as he found it.
After all is said and done, I give Executive Look the full 5 stars on the work that was done on the car, but I have to dock off a star because of how looooooooooong they take… oh and I wasn’t too happy about the whole not finishing on time/​not picking up my call/​going without a second car for almost a week thing.

Recently, i brought my Toyota Tundra in to have the paint done as it had be keyed multiple times by vandals in the area i work at and had 7+ years of wear and tear. The paint was dull and keyed everywhere!
Gerald and the team was able to restore my paint to basically new car status without having to repaint the entire car. Gerald also took the time to explain all the work he was doing and then delivered. The work done on the paint and the detail inside the car was awesome!
My truck was also completed as promised in a matter of days along with some touches such as redying the trim and he also installed HID lights.
Despite owning a truck that gets pounded in the snow, rain, dessert, and mountains, it was incredible to see the shine back on the car again!
Now because of the workmanship, quality, customer service and great prices, i also bring my BMW to get detailed tooooo!!!

Gerald and the team at Executive Look are amazing. I have been taking my cars to them for the last five years and they always come through. They have detailed my cars, fixed dents, paint etc. All at a great price and with a quality you seldom see in this business.
