I have been using Elaine’s services for the past 2 years and I am fully satisfied with her excellent service. She takes great care in styling my hair and never rushes through the process. You can tell that she is very attentive while engaging in polite conversation. She is also extremely knowledgeable about hair care and in grooming tips. She is the best of the many hair stylists whom I have used in the past and I strongly endorse her services.

This woman knows what she is doing. If you tell her what you are looking for, she will deliver. She’s really good at what she does. Go see her, you will be glad you did.

Elaine has been cutting my hair for years. She listens to my needs and gives me a professional look every time. The service I receive is always on point.

I was nearing my 30s and decided to ditch the chain hair cutting places where you sign in and wait for someone to call your name and look for someone who really knew what they were doing. I went through a few different people before connecting with Elaine and haven’t looked back.
If you are looking for a professional, reliable men’s hair stylist, stop right here and make an appointment. I’ve been going to Elaine for somewhere around 4 or 5 years and followed her from two of her previous locations to the current spot. In addition to her great hair cutting skills (my wife always likes my hair after I visit Elaine), she is nice, easygoing and always on time.

I had a pretty good experience here. I found Elaine through Unilocal and decided to give her a try. What’s unique about this location is that it’s full of independent salon suites. EM20 happens to be one of the suites located here. Overall I was very satisfied with my cut.
You have to book appointments ahead of time and I’m not too sure about walk-in’s. Elaine did mention she has her own app that you can download to book appointments. Or a simple phone call will suffice.

Elaine has been my barber for almost 6 years. She is precise in her scissor work and is very proficient in working with a straight blade. I am very happy with my hair thanks to Elaine.
I first met Elaine when she was working at metro for men, then I followed her to 18|8. EM20 is Elaine’s own studio, and I have been driving down from West LA every 4 weeks to have my haircut by Elaine.

I’ve always had a hard time finding someone to cut my hair to how I like it, while not knowing exactly how to explain what it is I’m looking for (I guess I would consider my haircut more on the trendier side?).The first time I went to Elaine, she got exactly what I was looking for without me knowing exactly how to explain it! I’ve been going to Elaine for over a year now which is a big deal for me as I normally only go to a person once or twice and am not happy with my hair.
Elaine is very professional, personable and her new salon is very nice with a mini-​bar, TV. She has a great selection of product and very knowledgeable in which is best for your hair. She also does a great job in making sure my cut was consistent to the last. I would recommend EM20 to anyone looking for a great cut!
