I’ve been seeing Dr. Mills since 2011, following a terrible car accident. He’s one of the best doctors I’ve every known. He’s seen me through some very rough times during my surgeries and healing process. I truly don’t know if I could have made it without him. He’s the most professional and caring person, and never rushes me during my office visits every month. He even calls me right back if I have questions or concerns. I trust his judgement and know that he always has my best interest at heart. I highly recommend him to anyone who is suffering with pain and wants to get their lives back on course. He’s the BEST!!!

The very best Doctor I have ever seen. I have neck issues/​problems since 1999. He is the first Dr to really be there for me. He is available ²⁴⁄₇ the most professional, compassionate, caring and hands on Dr I have ever known.
To be able to say that to anyone in pain… this is your Doctor. so amazing

I have been a patient of Dr Mills for over 15 years. This Dr is compassionate, concerned and genuinely cares about each and every one of his patients I have epidurals on a regular basis and those are always a breeze due to Dr Mills kind disposition and talks to you while administrating the shots, telling you what he is doing so to make you feel more comfortable. He also treats my migraines with Botox shots which again are pain free due to his ease of the shot and letting me know how many he has given me and how many are left. I recommend him to any one I know who suffers from chronic pain. He is the best in my book!

I went to see Dr. Mills for Botox injections for migraines In January. I picked the wrong day apparently. I have no idea what type of training a physician needs for these very specialized injections, apparently this Dr. skipped class. This was my second and last visit there! Waiting room was empty though Dr. Mills seemed rushed and impatient. He agreed to give the shots, left the room and a receptionist came in shortly thereafter for payment.
Dr. Mills presented with a single syringe and began haphazardly injecting my head in no apparent pattern and did not take the usual time to palpate and ensure delivery of the proper dose.
I have had this procedure done elsewhere (too far to drive) and have done my share of research. He gave twice as many shots on my left side than the right and put several shots in areas that I know are not the usual pattern. I mentioned that he gave more shots on the left then on the right, or started to, whereupon he replied «Oh you want more?» and jammed another set before I had time to finish what I was saying. Two minutes at most and it was done. I think I said something that got him mad is my only explanation of his manner but I don’t know what.
I felt shocked and immediately went to my husband with what happened as I was so upset. His first comment was that it is very unusual to give Botox with a single syringe as the needle dulls after a few shots and that many syringes are usually used to ensure much more precise dosages and and sharper needles. At my previous visits to another doctor 8 smaller syringes where used
Over the next 2 weeks my pain was so much worse and after a weeks there was still several painful bumps where the shots were given. I was pretty much bed bound and cursing myself for having spent money to feel like I have just seen a butcher.
I called the office after the first few days and spoke to another doctor at the office who told me to try and use heat and call back after a week. I called again and then spoke with Dr. Mills-​he recalled a very different set of events than me. It was my head being injected I think I would know best! Also I have needle marks and bruising to prove it. I also question if it was Botox that was used at this point.
I went to my new doctor after 2 weeks since I was feeling much worse after seeing Dr. Mills and she saw how sick I was with still spasming muscles and bruising in the areas injected. She seemed surprised that my head muscles were still tight 14 days later and said by now I should have had relief. Two day later she re-​administered Botox and did it in a very careful and balanced manner, took her time, Palpated etc. and used 5 different smaller syringes. I felt better within a couple days really almost immediatly after.
I would think that a pain management physician would be a bit more empathetic and careful not to «do more harm»… I don’t ever write negative reviews but I hope to help others avoid this type of care int he future .
