Horrible horrible horrible! From the moment we walk in the older white hostess gave us attitude n just threw the menu at the table. 10 went by n finally or server shows up we order appetizers she brings them we order food n that’s the last we saw of her for the next 40 minutes she shows up with our food n guess what. my plate it’s definitely not what I order another 10 minutes go by when she shows up with our drink refills n I told her that my plate was the wrong one she takes the plate away n doesn’t even apologize. N while I’m writing this review 3 more people have complained about the horrible service they are received. Stay away from this Chilis so many other restaurants to choose from!

After reading some of the reviews on here, I was a little iffy on dining here. I was able to walk in and got a seat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and got me a drink right away and always checking in on me. I have a very good experience and will check it out when I am in the area again.

Will never be back. Walked in, waited for a good amount of time, was not greeted, left the restaurant.

Walked in and waited and was not welcomed. I left and will go to any other restaurant. Clearly they are not interested in business around 9pm. I would suggest any other resturant

2.5 My grandma gave me a gift card to Chili’s and I’ve been holding onto it for awhile, I decided to use it while I was in town visiting my sister and she obliged me, she’s a total foodie and has high quality taste buds LOL! Came on a Wednesday evening way after the dinner rush! I have to give it a 2 stars for many reasons, the food and the service! Our server was super smug and not engaging at all! Everytime I asked him for something I felt like I was bothering him! No guest should ever feel like that! He didn’t have many tables at all so it wasn’t like he was slammed with other guests. What really ticked me off is that he refused to write our order down and low and behold one of our orders was made incorrectly! He claims he’s been doing it long enough, well clearly not! We started off with their smoked chicken wings which are always on point! I also ordered a cup of loaded baked potato soup which was BOMB, all 3 of us enjoyed it! My mom and sister ordered Tex-Mex dishes and my mom’s order was made incorrectly and she didn’t enjoy her food at all :/My sister also mentioned that she likes the food better at the Orange location! I ordered the little trio with the fried cheese curds, Southwest egg rolls, and sliders. My sliders were overcooked so that wasn’t enjoyable :/The curds were just OK, seemed like they were left in the fryer a bit too long. My egg rolls were great! If the service is bad during a slow time I would hate to see what it’s like during the lunch and dinner rush! I definitely don’t think we will be coming back to this location, we will stick to the Orange location for sure! –__–

I never write Unilocal review but this time it was necessary. My family always goes to Chilis and great service. This location however is the opposite of that. The service is horrible. Multiple times we have gone to Chilis and no one has came to serve us. Tonight we paid for our drinks at the bar and they sat us quickly. When were seated we sat there for 30 minutes and no one helped us. They saw our drinks and thought we had been helped. Needless to say I walked out. I would give this location zero stars if I could.

My girlfriend and me order $ 20 for 2. We both order 10oz medium cook steaks. When we got the steaks, the steaks cook well done and the steaks looks over cook! So we told the waiter, they said they will get us new. After we get the new steaks it turns to be 6oz! Ridiculous!

I guess this place is standard fare of what you’d expect at most chains, the food just being mediocre, but the prices overall being decent and the food acceptable but not really all that good. I split a 2 for $ 20 with a friend and I got the Char-Crusted Sirloin. I felt it was a bit salty overall, but still not too bad. It wasn’t a great steak, but it was acceptable and a decent value for the price. The tomatoes and asparagus were okay too, but completely forgettable for me. I also had the Triple Berry Margarita, which was bit disappointing for the price. I was expecting something more interesting, but it ended up tasting like a berry margarita, nothing really special or noteworthy for me, unless I guess you’re fascinated by blended in pieces of berry. Note that for Happy Hour, we were told that we had to order it at the bar to get the special price, and we wouldn’t see it if we ordered it at our table. This is in contrast to the Applebee’s we usually go to because they let us order the Happy Hour items at the table. The waitress here was nice and friendly though.

Went in for dinner. Place was decently busy. One thing we noticed when we walked in how bright it was inside the dining room. Anyways, we ordered few drinks; Margarita on the rocks and large beer. Margarita was FULL of ice more then 60% not to mention was a huge block! We ordered triple decker appetizer and ASKED for chips and salsa(should have been served as you arrive). Appetizer was no where close to what was featured on the menu; tasted frozen refried. Salsa was absolutely store shelf bought not Fresh. We passed on ordering entrees, paid our check and left. Ended up eating Luna grill across from this location. Service was average for this type of establishment. With so much steep fast casual concepts competing for market share chili’s got to step up on their game and focus on fresh not frozen food…

You would think that this location being in Irvine there would be excellent service. However, we were greeted by a nonchalant hostess. Our server was great and very attentive at us. However, we asked another server to kindly give us a to-go box since we couldn’t find our server and he rolled his eyes at us. So rude. The food was good thouhh, you can never go wrong with the $ 20 dinner for 2.

Came in for dinner with my baby bro and sister. My last visit here was horrible. But I honestly can say that they improved a lot! Service improved, along with food && dessert. I ordered the chipotle honey glazed sirloin steak & shrimp. The sauce was very tasty, and steak was cooked nicely. It came with asparagus, roasted tomatoes, and garlic. For dessert, I got the cheesecake. It was soft, very creamy, and light. Omg I felt like I was in heaven. The cheesecake topped the dinner off nicely!

I had seen their ad on internet so dicided to try their 2 for $ 20 deal. We had Half Order of Texas Cheese Fries, Tostada Chips & Fresh Guacamole. Entrees would be new steak entrée sirloin with ancho-garlic rub & chopped green onions on a bed of asparagus, Chicken Fajitas, Mango Chile talipia and Half Rack of Original Baby Back Ribs served with homestyle fries but I substitute broccoli instead. Everything was good though I prefer the ribs to have more sauce on it. You can use credit card to pay using the terminal on the table without asking for the server for check.

I’ve had better food and service. Was not impressed with the lunch taco plate at all. The triple dippers were okay. Chips and salsa were good. Wait time for food was terrible. Over 30 minutes to get lunch? Not good. Slow service although waitress was super nice. It’s a shame that the food and the wait time for food were well below par. 3 stars.

Came in to catch up with a friend and have some lunch! It was happy hour so they had some of their appetizers at a lower price. To begin we were greeted warmly and kindly escorted to the seating area where happy hour was being served — near the bar. Our server was great! He was friendly, attentive, and had a great personality. We ordered the supreme nachos, the boneless buffalo wings, and the quesadilla salad as a part of the happy hour deal. The boneless wings had good flavor but sadly the technicality behind the dish was a complete flop. The wings themselves were soggy and lacking any sort of crisp. Just very mediocre and they had a leftover feel to them. Nachos as well just lacked depth of flavor. The pico de gallo and other sides were lacking an ounce of seasoning. Just bleh. The quesadilla salad wasn’t bad, it was pretty decent and the Chicken had a great smokey flavor — definitely the best thing we ordered that night. Overall, the service is what really elevated this review. The food was a little boring and for the most part technical flawed. But the service was too great so I couldn’t give Chilis anything below a 3. P. S. Still annoyed they got rid of the potato skins. That was the best item on the menu to me.

It’s a chain restaurant that has decent staples, I think, and with that kept in mind it’s a very decent restaurant. I can see Chili’s being an easy to-go place for families. The service is stellar, with the cool ziosk things on the tables for quick payment when you’re ready for the check. I think the dinner for $ 20 deal is the best thing about Chili’s. You get a great amount of food, almost a full course meal, for two people and it’s very cheap. The rewards system is pretty nifty if you go there a lot, but honestly I don’t see myself coming that often when there are so many good food options out there. Their original baby back ribs are tender and hit the spot when you’re wanting a cheap rib fix.

So I found this Chili’s from a review a friend of mine wrote, so I thought I would give [Chili’s] a try and and do a critical analysis on such location. Here is my perspective: The location itself was a ghost town when I went inside to take a seat(Yes, I know it’s Monday at lunch, but I expected more than this); Now, onto the meat and potatoes of this establishment: I actually have to say, the food I had ordered, which was the Cajun chicken pasta, met my standards, but service/business could use a bit more pick-up(like I said, it was Monday at lunchtime, and I was surprised there weren’t that many people there — especially when there are $ 6, $ 7, and $ 8 lunch combos during the weekdays). The pasta itself was cooked al-dente, and the sauce(on top of the pasta) didn’t taste either cold or lukewarm — So, 4⁄5 on the food. Now, for the service: Like the Olive Garden, I’ve noticed that most restaurants nowadays have these machines where you can pay/swipe your card(or wish cash) straight from your table, e-sign, and e-tip; yes, all of that is fine, but I wish there was an extra feature where you there is a «call» button where you can call your server via your table instead of doing the routine«waving/raising your hand» at the servers when sometimes they either didn’t notice you were calling them, or they are busy with other customers. So I did the whole waving/raising-my-hand business, but did not notice a single response from my server. About 5 – 6 minutes later(after sipping my Dr. Pepper), my waitress [finally] reached my table, and I told her what my business was. It really didn’t have to take that long for someone to serve you(ESPECIALLY when the restaurant does not have that many customers). — So 2⁄5 on the service. Would I come back to this location? No. I could just go to the Chili’s nearby my house in Huntington Beach which is actually closer to where I live, and I could have the same type of food with BETTERSERVICE. I was lucky I didn’t walk out of the Irvine location sick with a stomachache. OVERALLRATING: 3⁄5 stars

Went alone, sat at the bar, and ordered a beer and the black bean egg rolls. Beer was good, black bean egg rolls delicious, and the bartender(she didn’t wear a name tag so I can’t give her a shout out, sadly) was awesome. She was super friendly and sweet and I will likely be back to this location just because she was such a doll.

It has been YEARS since I’ve been to Chili’s. They have really upgraded their venue and food. I had a good time during my last visit here a couple of weeks ago. They have these electronic machines which you can use to view the menu or request drink refills or play games. You can also use it to sign up for Chili’s Rewards which is free and helps you earn points to use for later visits. Their 2 for $ 20 is a good deal, 1 appetizer and 2 entrees so it’s a good thing to share with 2 people. The portions are pretty big too so you will be full. I had their baby back ribs with one of their newer craft beer sauces and it was actually really good, I liked it better than the original sauce. Service was quick and nice throughout the evening. I want to come back for late night happy hour to get more drinks and food for cheap. I know this is a chain restaurant and so when you’re in the mood for a standard chain experience, I would say this is a pretty good experience. I think you will enjoy the prices, food, and service. It’s fun to hangout at the new and improved Chili’s.

The food is good here and the service is friendly however it appears they are transitioning from the auto service so this restaurant seems understaffed. Our server was giving instructions to every other server so she was neglecting us but we didn’t take it personally. The watermelon margaritas are awesome. Love them. The Big Mouth Bites are consistently delicious. I pop in when I’m in the area and there’s nothing else close by but with all the great food in OC I avoid chains usually. All in all even with the delayed service it wasn’t bad just hope they give up on self service because that is the reason I pay to go out: to be served.
