I would highly recommend Dr. Hasse for anyone who is looking for an amazing surgeon and dentist. He has a great staff that are all very sweet and helpful. Every time I walked in the door Amber and Lisa were in a friendly mood ready to assist me. I had a jaw surgery procedure performed and I couldn’t be more pleased! Throughout my recovery process he was very attentive and you always felt like he had everything under control. He’s the best surgeon around and if you need anything done I wouldn’t look any further !

I went to Dr. Hasse on the referral from several orthodontists. I had an extensive case that required orthodontic work (braces), extractions and double jaw surgery. Being a mom of three, and in my 30’s, it was a daunting thing to consider. I ended up moving forward with everything, and now 2 years later, I’m so glad I did! Dr. Hasse’s office was upfront with me from the beginning as to what to expect to pay out of pocket – and I had more than a year to prepare for that. He worked closely with my orthodontist and had meetings with him just to discuss my case – I wasn’t just a number to him. Double jaw surgery is no easy undertaking, so you have to go into it knowing that it’s a difficult process, but that would be the case with any doctor. After each of my procedures, Dr. Hasse called me at home to see how I was doing. I never had problems getting appointments when I needed them, and his staff worked closely with my insurance to minimize my out of pocket expenses.

At first I was very hesitant to believe that I needed about eight teeth implants. When this whole thing started I was in my thirties and to hear that I was suffering from a major bone loss at my age was like I was receiving news about my own father. As the medical findings were presented to me I realized that I must face reality head on and deal with the issue. My wife highly recommended Dr. Hasse so we started with a consultation with him. Obviously the consultation went well so we decided to start the process with Dr. Hasse.
From beginning to finish (about two years) I felt that I didn’t encounter much complications. I had pain here and there but for me it was bearable. The staff was always very attentive. I’m not someone to give high praises often but I have to admit Dr. Hasse and his staff are very good at what they do.
Without going into too much details of my medical records I can report happily that I don’t experience pain, swellings and unexpected high fever that I used to before I had my implants done. I truly believe that our family dentist, Dr. Kushner, and Dr. Hasse saved me from a lot of grieve. I guess that’s why my wife and I appreciate them so much. Thank you Dr. Hasse for restoring the health of my teeth.

This review is long overdue. For the past six years Dr. Hasse has an incredible blessing in our lives. It all started when my mother needed to redo all of her old teeth implants from many years ago. Our regular dentist at the time, Dr. Kushner (another well beloved dentist by our families) recommended we work with Dr. Hasse. When I first took my mom in for a consultation we were treated with so much kindness and professionalism. Since my mom does not speak English the staff and Dr. Hasse were always so patient to allow me the time to translate everything to my mom. I must admit, my mom is a very difficult patient to deal with and I don’t mean that in a negative way. Some of the medical facts that my mom was dealing with made her a difficult patient. For example, my mom is in her seventies and is a diabetic and does not live in the States full time. She is only in the States 3 months out of the whole year. Dr. Hasse and his kind staff were able to map out an excellent surgical and recovery plan with Dr. Kushner and ourselves. Given our limited time with Dr. Hasse we finally completed all of her six plus implants and my mom has been doing very well now for a good number of years. Believe me when I tell you that for an older patient to recovery from any surgery is difficult but I really took to heart the after care instructions from Dr. Hasse, his staff and Dr. Kushner and I’m happy to report that not only does my mom look fabulous but she can actually eat any normal food like the rest of us.
After my mom, my husband also became a patient of Dr. Kushner and Dr. Hasse. Both doctors found that my husband had major bone loss in his teeth and was recommended a total of eight implants which is so rare for someone of late thirties. The process was long too but a very successful one. What I have truly learned from dealing with oral surgeries is it is a game of patience. You can’t rush the healing process and must be very precise in your after care.
Given great success with both my mom and husband I also had Dr. Hasse removed both my daughter’s and son’s wisdom teeth. My daughter recovered extremely well but my son had some swelling issues because he was a talker after surgery. No matter how much I tried to get my son to not talk he kept on talking so he paid the price for it later. However, thank goodness the swelling went down. To this day we still laugh at our son for cracking jokes after the surgery then felt the pain later on (I actually recorded).
Between my own immediate families and friends I have probably recommended over ten people to Dr. Hasse and we have all had positive experiences. I would highly recommend Dr. Hasse and his staff. Dr. Hasse’s staff (from his surgical staff to his administration staff) have always shown professionalism and kindness to all of us and we really appreciate feeling so welcomed and comforted when we are there.

I just moved to the OC area and needed to get my wisdom teeth out ASAP since one of my teeth was impacted and gave me some pain. This was the second Dr I saw because the first one gave me an appointment that didn’t fit my timeline and wanted me to take antibiotics for a full week before having them removed.
Luckily, I found Dr. Hasse! He and his staff were very friendly and attentive. They told me what was going on every step of the way and made sure I was comfortable. Last thing I remember was laying down and watching Dr. Hasse put the IV in, because before I knew it I woke up at the procedure was done!
He also called me several hours later to check up on me so I thought that service was fantastic should I have had any questions. Now a week after my removal, my mouth is healing just fine.

I wonder how much this animal offer ppl to give a 5 star review! Obviously he erase mine but that’s ok! This is what my daughter end up with… If you want your kids to look like this please go an have him pull the wisdom tooth out.

We sought Dr. Hasse’s advice for 4 impacted wisdom teeth for my teen daughter. He made us feel at ease, has certified Anesthesiologist’s on site and explained the difference between Propofol and the standard drugs they used. He is laid back, caring and does not rush. The staff was helpful and took the medical insurance we had since our Dental plan did not cover surgery. Yes his first degree is from Antigua but all surgery degrees and boards that he heads up make up for that.

I went to get all four of my wisdom teeth removed yesterday. I went in to get a consultation where they took x-​Rays and then watched a short video explaining what would happen during my procedure. Dr. Hasse did a great job explaining the procedure and post-​op instructions. The procedure was 20 – 30 minutes. They put an IV in my arm and gave me a numbing shot in my mouth. I didn’t feel anything because the IV already had me sedated. I spent another 30 minutes waking up. I stayed home all day to rest. He prescribed Vicodin, but I didn’t need it. He even called me a few hours after I got home to ask how I was doing! The pain and swelling was minimal. I am already back at work today. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Hasse, very simply put, has an extreme talent when it comes to his work. He is also kind, listens, cares, keeps to his schedule, explains what he needs to do, and follows up with his most excellent staff. He is a much sought after speaker worldwide. And he has even invented a snore guard, which he makes in his office, that has helped me tremendously with my sleep apnea.
You are, literally, in the very best of hands…

my wife had to have her two lower impacted wisdom teeth removed.
our regular dentist recommended dr. hasse «top oral surgeon in OC» so we decided to check him out.
first thing i noticed was that the office staff was super nice and the atmosphere was pretty cheerful for a doctors office. most of the time when you walk into a doctors office, everyone’s pretty serious and all business as usual; but not here, everyone was all smiles.
dr. hasse was able to see my wife quickly after arriving and explained the entire procedure to her within minutes. the guys definitely a pro and knew exactly how to get the job done in the safest and shortest amount of time possible.
5 star ratings all around for the good doctor!!! you can tell he cares for his patients because he personally contacted us at the end of the day to make sure my wife was ok. and even when my wife had a bit of pain a couple days after the procedure the good doctor was able to see her immediately when she called. amazing customer service and care for his patients, definitely recommending dr. hasse to all our family and friends!

Thus far, I have had my consultation with Dr. Hasse for a sinus lift and an implant. The wait time was not long, and he was happy to take the time to describe the procedures in detail. His explanations were easy to understand and I could tell that he cared. I’m looking forward to writing up a follow up review after the procedures are complete!

My son had all 4 wisdom teeth out last Friday. Dr. Hasse was incredible. Very personable and help keep us nervous parents calm:) I would highly reccommend him for any dental surgical needs. Smooth and fast surgery and was very reasonably priced.

I highly recommend Dr. Hasse and his team! For me, they extracted a tooth, inserted a bone graft and turned around what I expected to be an unpleasant experience. The tooth extraction surgery was painless and he and his team were so gracious, personable and fun, I actually laughed throughout the procedure. Per his recommendation, I took four ibuprofen, which was all that was necessary to quell the pain. After icing throughout the day, I felt good enough to enjoy a dinner out with friends that night. I’ve been back twice over the past three weeks for check-​ups and I’m healing perfectly. For every visit, he’s been punctual — no long waits. He and his team are an absolute joy — knowledgeable, caring, courteous and totally professional. I can’t recommend them enough!

I had my three wisdom teeth removed yesterday, #1, #16 and #17. Dr. Hasse is truly professional and experienced. The surgery was around one hit and there were four nurses assisted him during the surgery. I just fell into sleep in the very first ten minutes. Probably 45 minutes later, I was woken up by Dr. Hasse. I didn’t feel any painful during the surgery.

I started having horrible tooth pain and needed my wisdom teeth pulled out, I called almost a thousand dentists one by one to try to get me in soon since the pain was unbearable. No one had any openings until Next month and I didn’t want to wait because I felt horrible. I finally found a dentist in Tustin that had an opening for me and wanted to charge me $ 1,200 for the two lower wisdoms (and I have PPO insurance)
I was ready to go on in and pay when I decided to just call Dr. Hasse’s office… I called with preparation of getting the same answer that every one else was giving me and to my surprise they were able to get me in within the same week!!! I was already stoked about that! But now moving on to cost:… Wait for it… They only collected $ 149 for all 4 wisdoms and anesthesia and 2 sets of full mouth X-​rays !!! Holy moly!
Dr Hasse is really nice and all his staff as well. I’m so glad I made that call. And now I’m healing but it’s the second day and I feel little to not very much pain! Thank you Dr Hasse and staff!!! You made me very happy! (:

I had an amazing experience with my surgery from Dr. Hasse. I had to have surgery done on both my lower and upper jaw to fix my asymmetry and prevent future TMJ issues. I am so happy that I had it done, and that Hasse was my oral surgeon for the procedure. I had been putting it off for years, and now that is it over i could not be happier with the result
I am a college student, and I felt that Dr. Hasse was very accommodating to my busy schedule and understood how had the recovery time would be for me. His staff is very helpful and kind; they always were chatty and remembered who I was. It was nice to feel that they knew every patient, along with their different cases. You could tell that they genuinely cared when they asked you questions, and listened very intently to try and get to know you.
I obviously was nervous yet excited for the very serious surgery. The morning that I went in for surgery I was feeling very anxious, but right when Dr. Hasse walked into the room to get me ready to go to the operating room, I immediately felt my nerves settle. The surgery went flawlessly and the recovery was not as bad as I had expected. Looking back it seems like the weeks flew by. I looked forward to my post-​surgery weekly visits with Dr. Hasse. He was always so positive, friendly, understanding, and caring. He made recovery feel like a breeze.
I would recommend Dr. Hasse to anyone and everyone. I had the best experience and could not be any happier with the result. I am so excited to head back to school and show off my new smile!

I have never had such a negative experience with any doctor, ever. This work was done to me for a simple Class One open bite. Click on the photos and see for yourself the caliber of his work. Additionally, he charged me $ 10,000 over and above his contracted rate for the insurance company. When he was confronted with what he had done to me, he refused to give me a refund.

Let me first start by saying I was terrified about having to have my wisdom teeth removed. I had been putting off the procedure for years! Well after a trip to urgent care because of a painful infection it was time to have them pulled.
Dr. Hasse came highly recommended from a coworker. When I contacted the office they were able to see me a couple days later for the consultation and procedure.
On procedure day I took some Xanax to calm my anxieties. I don’t think they were even necessary because the office staff, surgical assistant and Dr. Hasse were unbelievably caring. They took an xray we talked and he patiently answered all of my questions. He also tried to engage me in small talk to help calm my nerves.
In the next room they connected me to an IV and the next thing I know I was waking up. Over in two seconds (well that’s what it felt like).
All day I was on cloud-​9. Whatever I was given made me just wanna joke and goof off all day.
Recovery was great (when I remembered to take my Vicodin on schedule).
I had my stitches removed about a week ago and I have another check up next week.

I had the best experience with Dr Hasse. He performed a jaw surgery on me and i am extremely happy with the result. His office staff is very competent (Amber and Jenny) and he is well known in his field.
Billing was a bit of an issue but his office helped sort it out.
I have had a nose surgery since, and Dr Hasse, even though not my surgeon for the nose, made it a point to be there because he cared. My ENT called him the mother hen :)
Very caring. I could not have asked for someone better.
