Smile more, front desk receptionists. Treat customers like gold because without them, there will be no more Bellagio Spas & Salon.

So I wanted to get my daughter a gift certificate at a salon for a hair cut and color. I was down in So Cal and did some quick checks on Unilocal.I stumbled upon Bellagio and thought I would at least go in and look. I was greeted by a really friendly young receptionist who helped me out with the choices and even recommended a stylist. I got a gift certificate for $ 150 that would easily cover the cut and color and was on my way quickly.
A couple of weeks later my daughter went in for her appointment and the pictures she showed me were amazing. Her hair looked great. She raved about her stylist — Patty, who apparently took great care of her, listened to what she wanted, and did a wonderful job.
The inside of the spa is not outdated to me like someone posted. I thought it was super elegant.
Now the only problem is that my daughter wants me to keep sending her gift certificates for future cuts and color!
I’m a fan. Give the salon (and Patty) a try!

I’ve had 3 massages here with Elizabeth each time. She is amazing! I always have her focus on my back and she does a great job getting my knots out! She also uses hot stones and warm towels on your back and feet. I’ve gotten a lot of massages over the years but she is by far the best! The spa also gives you a robe and slippers and they have lockers, a shower, and steam sauna. It is much cheaper than the big spas and has the same amenities. Definitely recommended!!!

Facial with Angela is the best I have experienced in the area. She does really good massage as part of the facial and is very gentle/​effective with extractions. She takes the time to understand my skin and cater the facial accordingly. Highly recommend!

I wish this could be a 5 star review because Heidi was amazing, she is a great hairstylist, I would definitely recommend her.
BUT… Let’s start, I got a gift certificate for this place so of course I had to try it, had a 2pm appt and got there 10 minutes early, the receptionist was not friendly at all (there were 2, I dealt with the tiny, long ombré hair one), have you heard of the term resting bitch face? Well let’s put it this way, I think she is the one who invented that, she had a very stuck up and better than you attitude, which doesn’t make sense because she works behind the counter greeting people! Ok then she said she would let Heidi know I was there… And guess what, she couldn’t even do that. Because by 2:30 pm Heidi comes outside and asks me if I was waiting for someone, I was like uuhhmmm yeah I had a 2pm appt with Heidi (I didn’t know what she looked like) and she said I am
Heidi, I am so sorry no one told me you were waiting for me! She was very apologetic about that. Well you would think that a receptionist seeing that a costumer had been waiting there for half an hour would have the decency of saying «let me remind here you are here» «would you like a water bottle» or something! Well at 2:25pm another customer walks in and this girl welcomes her in and right away offers her a water bottle. Am
I crazy here? I was just thinking this place should really be more careful when hiring their front desk employees.
Well by the time I was done I go back to the front desk to pay and this little girl gives me this rrrrrreally bitchy face and says «it’s 65 dollars» which to me sounds ridiculous for just a hair cut, but oh well, the certificate paid for that.
Just a word of advise, Smiling a little doesn’t hurt! You should really try it sometime. It might even attract more customers.
So I cannot say it was a very good experience.

I went to Heidi because of her positive reviews. Unfortunately, I am not happy. It had been some time since I had gone to a stylist. I asked her to dye my hair a dark blonde with highlights but instead I have more of an auburn. I knew this would happen since she first argued with me about what color I wanted. I showed her pictures and she continued to tell me that the color she mixed up was the right one. I am so disappointed. I know I should have walked out when she was arguing with me but since I was waiting for her — she was 30 minutes late due to a car issue — I just wanted my hair done. Copper colored hair and then she proceeds to try to sell me purple conditioner! I won’t go back!

There is a reason that I have been going to See Heidi at Bellagio for 4 plus years now. Simply put, Heidi is the BEST! I have seen her regularly for over 4 years for my color, cuts, and Keratin treatments and love that she is so consistent with the results and that she genuinely takes care of all my hair needs. She is like the «hair doctor» diagnosing what my hair needs each time. There has always been zero pressure to buy extra services or products. Having brunette hair it has always been a challenge to find someone that gets it right and Heidi is the Brunette guru in my opinion. Just today, I was in and had my hair colored and blow dryed. Upon going to an appointment after that, I received a huge compliment on the cut and color. I also was thrilled to earn a free facial and get $$$ rewards by being a member of Bellagio’s VIP club. This rewards VIP club is spectacular and much appreciated. Thanks, Bellagio! And lastly, I recommend Angela for facials. She is wonderful and I dream about her pampering long facial massage which she does with each facial. I give Bellagio every star available!

This is a review of Joey, the stylist, and his disappointing lack of professionalism I experienced today. I had a 10am appointment with him that I showed up 5 minutes early for. I was told he hadn’t arrived yet. At 10:00 the very busy yet accommodating guy at the front desk gave him a call and apparently was calling a number that wasn’t able to reach him. At 10:10, Joey was still a no show and no one was able to get ahold of him. With my time allotted to spend away from home today quickly dissipating, I had to leave without getting my haircut.
Joey, I have a newborn at home and never have the time or capacity to get out of the house by myself for the haircut and a little «me» time I was in desperate need of this morning. Your carelessness and lack of professionalism in blowing off your appointment with me really ruined my morning. I hope this was a fluke and not the standard way you treat your clients, acting as if your time is more important than theirs.
The one star is for the guy behind the desk who did what he could to rectify the unnecessary circumstances caused by Joey.

Heidi saved my birthday!!! She made sure I didn’t have to wear a baseball hat to my birthday dinner. I went to her in hopes to rescue highlights gone wrong. She was able to turn my now very fragile hair back from what I thought was impossible. The stylist before I went to Bellagio had tried to fix racing stripes that was a result of the foil job she did. In attempting to fix the racing stripes she put bleach directly on my scalp burning my skin giving me Gwen blonde hair. The chemical breakage was massive! My friend saw my hair and got me in touch with Heidi. She honestly saved the day and I love my highlights! She took her time explaining what the plan was to repair the color. Best highlights and service I honestly have ever had! Love you Heidi!

I recently visited this spa for a Brazilian wax. Upon arrival I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist who showed me to the waiting room. She offered me tea, coffee, or water and was very sweet. Soon after the amazing Lety showed me to my room and gave me the best Brazilian I have ever had. She was very fast which helped with the pain that goes along with the Brazilian but the results were perfect. I will definitely be going back for my future spa needs. Thank you for the awesome service!

I came to Bellagio for a massage. I could nott be more happy with me experience. I definitely will come back for another! Upscale, classy, great staff. Highly, highly recommended.

Love going in to get my hair done. Ali does a great job, my hair is always amazing when she gets done.

I am new to Irvine and was having trouble finding a good stylist.
Patty is so talented! Not only was she able to fix the horrible color I had received elsewhere, the cut was great too.
She is extremely professional and made great suggestions. She listened to what I wanted and I have never been happier with my hair — will definitely return!

I usually come to the Irvine location to get my nails done. Denise the manicurist is great. She is very accommodating & gives the best pedicures! The salon is very clean & has a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place to all my friends.

Apparently «gratuity included» is on a case to case basis depending on where the certificate was purchased & new/​additional pricing??? Wow!
How do you ask a guest w a gift cert for additional payment after their service?
I will not be going back or recommending this salon to anyone.
Décor old, tight rooms, no sound proofing from other guests. Terrible

I highly recommend Bellagio Spa, it is beautifully decorated and the receptionists are always nice and organized. Every service I’ve ever had here has always been amazing hair, facials, nails and massage.

Just moved to CA from MN and was looking for a new stylist. I called about 6 places but I didn’t get a good vibe or they never called me back. I happened to get in with Ali here (same day) and she rocked my platinum blonde hair! It was a bit pricey but she was worth it!

Front desk check-​in wasn’t as friendly as I would’ve hoped, but the esthetician I worked with as fantastic! I would go back to this location.

After visiting this Salon various time I felt it was time for an update, when I first went here I was very happy and pleased with the results my stylist produced (Shelly). I originally stopped going because the receptionist made a mistake when booking my appointment and only booked for a cut and not a cut and colour. Shelly very kindly tried to do both in the time allocated but my hair came out yellow and brassy as it wasnt left on long enough. I had to go back the following week so she could fix it, all the yellow couldnt be taken out but it was an improvement. This initially prompted me to find another Salon but after a couple of years had passed I decided to give Shelly another try. I was very disappointed with this visit for mny reasons — I have dark blonde hair naturally with a half head of highlights, I went to Shelly to have my roots done and some darker lowlights out through the top to get a more natural look and get rid of some of the golden tones. I came out platinum blonde with ALOT more golden than before. My cut was even bad the layers are choppy and looked hacked. To make it worse the receptionist had to ‘close out’ before my appointment was even half way through and I had to pay before seeing the result, my biggest annoyance was I tipped a generous 30% on what I thought the result would be after a very detailed consultation with Shelly, unfortunatly for me it was nothing like I asked for or the pictures I had shown her and her words to me were — «I know your not going to like it theres still a lot of golden but I think it looks great!» Its very upsetting and disappointing to pay such a high price for something you didnt ask for or want :(
Therefore I would not recommend this salon!

Joey is amazing! My hair was previously over processed and he saved it. He also gave my hair «movement» so it doesn’t look weighed down.
The salon is nice and in a good area, and there is a spa that seems relaxing.
