How the partners of Ambient Veil started to film together is a mystery to this day. Jin came from a creative background studying to make commercials at Art Center College of Design. He graduated with a degree in Advertising Design and started building brands for technology companies globally. Jae was studying to be an Architect at Southern California Institute of Architecture and started working for a top rated Architectural Firm. Jae made the leap first leaving the Firm behind to hone his skill as a cinematographer. Jin started filming friends weddings as gifts.

Both have creative minds and understand the balance and composition of a shot. Combined with the ability to capture emotional content without losing composition or artistry, the two men meshed well together and a friendship formed. They as a team had the same goal in mind. Create cinematography, not videography.

Ambient Veil is passionate about creating art that tells a story. We believe that a story told well is a story wort
