We are a celebrity based Talent Development Company and Acting School.

We specialize in training kids between the ages of 7 – 17 in commercial, tv, and film acting. David Deluise (our founder) from «Wizards of Waverly Place», Adam Irigoyen from «Shake it Up», Paris Berelc from «Mighty Med», Ryan Ochoa from «Pair of Kings», Dylan Riley Snyder from «Kickin It», Bill Chott from «Wizards of Waverly Place» and Anneliese van der Pol from «That’s So Raven» are our exclusive celebrity mentors and acting coaches.

History

Established in 2009.

AGB was started by actor David DeLuise who you may know as Selena Gomez’s father on the Emmy Award winning Disney Channel Show, «Wizards of Waverly Place». David and his celebrity friends noticed that there are a lot of companies out there that take advantage of families just starting out in the entertainment business and they even used the Disney name. So David decided to start a company that is an advocate for kids just getting started in the business and to guide them and do things the right way, so Actors Giving Back was born.

The youngest son of legendary actor and comedian Dom DeLuise, David DeLuise is now perhaps the most popular dad on TV. He’s won the admiration of millions of children and parents alike for his portrayal of family patriarch Jerry on the hit Emmy award-​winning Disney Channel series, «Wizards of Waverly Place.» He also recently starred in «Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie,» which aired on the Disney Channel to over 25 million viewers.

DeLuise has been a familiar face to television audiences for years for his recurring roles in the hit series «Stargate SG-​1» and «3rd Rock from the Sun.» He was a series regular opposite Christina Applegate on NBC’s «Jesse», and guest starred in «Hawaii Five-0,“The mentalist,» «Rizzoli and Isles,» «baby daddy,» «Bones,» «Without a Trace,» «ER,» «Monk,» «Gilmore Girls,» «CSI», «CSI: New York» and «CSI: Miami.»

I must say that I am very surprised reading the negative review because my experience has been very positive. I first heard about the program from an acquaintance, and the first time I called the answering service took my info and immediately registered my kids for the orientation. Did not have to wait for a call back, within 24 hours received my first text confirming the registration and dates of orientation. My kids already started training and have met actors and actresses from Disney channel. And before orientation I had already done my research, also Instagram and Facebook.
You have to be very patient for this type of process because different factors come into play when doing acting and one of them is patience. These are very professional people.

Best Acting Program ever been too! You guys deserve more than 5+ STARS. The staff is very professional and treats you like a family. My son enjoyed and learned a lot from the instructors-​real present actors. His confidence and shyness got better that now in school projects presentations he gets an A+, his more talkative and of course jokes and acts very good. Thank you to the staff, instructors from Actors Giving Back and founders for existing. You guys are the best or better yet you guys rock!!! ;)
P. S. I will be taking my daughter for next year, she is currently learning to read so you will see us again!

I can’t say enough about this company. They have helped us so much. All of the families I’ve met there love it. We started out new to the acting world and a little intimidated by it all. My daughter showed great interest in acting, so we picked AGB and it was a great fit for us. She loved it-​she learned the fundamentals of acting and got to work with different Disney Channel actors. It was such a positive experience for her and I’m glad we did it .The staff is helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the whole process. They made us feel comfortable, which I really appreciated. I’d definitely recommend AGB. I already have. The negative review must be from a competitor or something :)

I am a current student at Actors Giving Back and I have had an AMAZING experience ! I am so grateful and blessed to have had this great opportunity. Marcelo, Selena, and Erica are really supportive and are always there to help us with anything. The celebrity instructors that have gone to teach us are great and have a lot of patients ! Actors Giving Back has taught me many things about acting that I was not aware of. I would highly recommended this to anyone ! Their staff is well organized and are great help !

First of all for the negative comments given to Actors Giving Back, sorry for you that you’ve had no luck maybe also no patience BUT believe it or not the company is an AWESOME place for the kids to learn what it takes to be an actor/​actress. For the public if your looking to have your child join this company it’s a great opportunity for them. Marcelo and the staff are awesome people and also willing to answer your questions. It’s all about being PATIENT! Good work AGB!

If you’re looking to get you’re kids started in acting then this is definitely one of the best places to go too. The classes are definitely worth the drive (if you’re not in the L. A area), my sisters loved every class that they would go too. When they first started they were shy, but Actors Giving Back really helped them get out of their shell && be more outgoing. Not only are they taught by professionals, the staff is also amazing! They are all very sweet && they answer any questions you might have. The best part is the showcase they give at the end, my family is new to this industry && it’s great to know there’s people willing to help you && be there every step of the way. They would respond to my phone calls && emails in a timely manner which was extremely helpful since I would have a lot of questions. Marcelo, Selena, and the rest of their team will make you feel comfortable && they give the best professional help && advice that other places would not give. Wish they offered classes for adults, but for now I’m looking forward to seeing them in the future for advanced classes for my sisters.

These people are a scam!!! And they lack professionalism!!!
I called in December to get information for my child — a lady got my number and said they would return my call and guess what? They never called me back !! So here i am on January 3rd i emailed them and yup you guessed again they never responded to my e-​mail either. So after my two attempts i decided to call them once again — Marcelo i believe his name is said he needed my e-​mail address to send me information for an open house taken place on January 25th and of course that never happened because he never emailed me. On a daily my child kept asking me if Actors giving back had contacted me — my answer of course would always be a big fat NO!
They are getting people’s information and not following thru. Mind you they say their school is in a «secret» location. I will submit it with BBB and have them investigate this business. I also tried adding them on their private Instagram account and they blocked me by me just sending a request. I didn’t even get to see their page! Dont know who they think they are — To my perspective they seem to be shady, fraudulent and scammers!
They are so shady that I wouldn’t doubt they will come and post a 5 star review to cover up for mine!

Great classes! Awesome teachers and fun workshops. Really great experience! The best classes in Cali! If you want your kids or just your kids want to start acting this is honestly the place to start!
