I’m very familiar with the Giovanni’s franchise, and eat it a LOT. This is my first time at this particular store… and it will be my last.
The buffet pizza was rather old when we arrived. There was NO garlic bread (which I think is one of the staples of Giovanni’s). They finally replenished everything about the time I was ready for dessert.
There were at least 10 people in the kitchen (I counted) and we were one of three tables. We had to call out to our waitress to get drink refills — and when she approached the table, she told us she was «about to leave».
I do appreciate that this Giovanni’s has extra things like sandwiches on the buffet… but the terrible service left a bad taste in my mouth.
