Business Owner

Megan O’Brien is an opera singer and voice teacher who recently received her Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Northern Iowa, while previously receiving her Bachelor of Music from the University of Iowa. She has been teaching voice for four years, has an inherent grasp on vocal pedagogy and her expertise lies in acoustics and the physics of sound in voice production. She is fluent in Italian and Spanish, and proficient in German and French. Ms. O’Brien believes that strong vocal technique is the foundation for all types of voices including Classical, Musical Theatre, Jazz, R&B and Pop. These lessons will help improve vocal range, strength, beauty, breath support, diction and stamina; All of which are fundamental for anyone who wishes to be a singer. Ms. O’Brien prides herself in her ability to take any student at any level and encourage them to become a promising, more confident performer, through a high level of committed vocal instruction.
