I love these dumplings, especially the pork steamed dumplings with soy sauce. And even better, they just opened a new place with Pop’s BBQ at the corner of Dubuque and Market St in Iowa City. So one can now have freshly cooked dumplings lots of times.

She just opened up a new location in Cedar Rapids at the Newbo City Market. I was excited to try them and was not disappointed. The dumplings were delicious. Dumpling Darling brings in another unique culture to the Market. I would highly recommend.

This little gem is located at the intersections of delicious, my mouth and the Iowa City Farmers market. Run by a couple ladies who know a thing or two about dumplings. One spent time in Korea and felt like IC was lacking in this department. Like that, Dumpling Darlings was born.
With classic offerings like Kim Chi and BBQ pork paired with an Iowa City gem — the breakfast dumpling — there is plenty to keep even the most discriminating palate guessing at what will show up next. At ~ $ 5 – 7 for 6 dumplings, it’s worth getting a bag and sharing!
