We offer a calm and relaxing environment in a quiet residential neighborhood for visitors of Iowa City. We have clean and comfortable bed and bathrooms and good old fashioned hospitality. After a good night’s rest we provide you with a home cooked breakfast. We can also provide you with a map and/​or directions to any where in town. If you need a ride somewhere, just ask, we’re happy to help. As long time residents of Iowa City and employees of the University of Iowa we love to help visitors explore our wonderful city and the university. It is our pleasure to serve our guests.

I was absolutely blown away by this place. I am an avid b&b frequenter and have stayed at many, many b&bs in the states and in Europe and I do really believe this is my favorite of all of them. The house is lovely, quiet, with beautiful landscaping, and easy to find. The room we stayed in was perfect, aesthetically beautiful in many ways, and so very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh fruit beautifully prepared, juice, coffee, cinnamon rolls. Our hosts were gracious and welcoming and a pleasure to meet. I would recommend this to anyone.

The Bloomin’ Iris blew away our expectations! The accommodations were very comfortable and Jody and Jason were beyond welcoming. We requested a fresh and healthy home-​cooked breakfast and Jody really went above and beyond. It was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend staying at the Bloomin’ Iris if you’re looking for a quiet and comfortable Bed and Breakfast.
